I would really love to be self-righteous and point out that I have refrained from participating in ANY of these flash-sale feeding frenzies that so many of you have been enjoying. No special buy1-get1's for me, no sir. I wish I could attribute this fact to some newly-discovered moral fiber or fiscal fortitude. But really I've just spent all of February's DynaCash (+ some) on Canadian j-hooks and a sexy French bubbler. Ooo la la!

Maybe nobody has told Santa George and his helpers at DynaVapland that Christmas is over? How many shiny new presents can this island of misfit toys possibly deserve?! He's just spoiling us at this point!

I recently had the pleasure of a PM from the man and must say, he likes and values us all way too much!

For the Euro-Capheads: he really likes us too and I'm sure the cut-off timeframe of these sales is just an oversight to be sorted quickly, as Dynavap handles everything apparently. They do not mess around.

Dear Sir,
How's that top-o-the-line, fully-loaded fuchsia MiniVap treating you? :rofl:You blinged out baller!
I agree on the t-break however; not for peeps like you & me unless you want some suffering imo.

Happy Friday VapCapping to all, wherever and whenever you might be! ONE LOVE! :peace:
I love my "M" and them vap's I use daily!

This tread is not about the MINIVAP however it's HIGH END and expensive but I need it!
The "M" I like the FUNCTION.
It's not the $$$$ to me that's BLING.
NON-FUNCTION PRETTY is BLING.

Some need BLING?

I want FUNCTION.

I think QUALITY mean's something different depending on your need?

FUNCTION/BLING= whatever you need is?

Do you drive a 24" lift kit on a 4 x 4 in the city?

"M" from VAPCAP is a low cost kick a shiny metal ass device!

Lol, my 1-day t-break this week was due to having such a horrible day at work that I didnt feel like puffing at all that evening. Thats how I roll, if I get pissed off enough my desire to get high goes right out the window. Happy friday indeed

I couldn't resist.
Two stems that have a chance to make it through customs.

Infact I am more a metal VP guy at the moment.
I think I need booth in my rotation.

aah, speaking of rotation.
today i revisited the used soloII i bought back in `17, wanted to sell, now I think I keep it.

since I know the Vapcap I have downsized my arsenal.
mighty and grasshopper are sold and gone.

Lo and Behold! The transformative power of Vapor.

Even with a single M you have options.

Do you prefer hotter hits? Do you need a condenser. No? take it out perhaps?

Or reverse the body on your M. Vape Naysh style. Easier to slide that MP on. Or having that tip with the tapered fit like with a G2 Omni. With a little heptic feedback during the click. It fits in your mouth different without a normal MP shape. More like a cigarillo. :sherlock:

@ataxian I do like the FUNCTION of the Ti tip. Even if they worked about the same, I would like the convenience of changing the tips, instead of refilling a cap at a time. If you don't need another vapcap to your collection. Maybe try the Ti tip?

Ataxian, a wood stem Nona vong would function well with a water pipe. You could upgrade your m to a wood Nona vong. I grew up in surf city, Huntington Bch.
IF you can get him to buy wood.
I almost went for Vongs during the sale. :drool:But don't use the caps with water enough to justify it.

I see how some might like the XL with a wooden tip more. Glad I went for it during the previous flash sale. My M XL Ti will be the '24" lift kit on a 4 x 4' that @ataxian mentioned. Off road, off trail, heated with camp stoves, candles and fire twigs. The wooden MP won't conduct heat from the SS. The dynatube can fit my tool as well as the vapcap. It even came with a heat resistant silicone ring. GTG.
Vape critic live streamed on Thursday as well. Since he was experimenting and taking apart vapes, etc. He tried one of my suggestions and later in the week came up with something with an ELB a vapcap and the simple IH heater.

Geographically we have a different POV?

I did not start CANNABIS until 1970 so maybe my assessment
is not valid?

I would rather smoke joints like in HAWAII back in the 70's?
With VAPORIZING I can enjoy CANNABIS?

Your from AUSTRALIA?

You guy's drink beer more than the ENGLISH?

In CALIFORNIA CANNABIS is our FASHION?

I use what work's 4 me?

The "M" I use with water so I don't care for the tip?

I don't par take out in public?

Wood I won't put in my mouth!
Just me I guess?

Late Saturday morning cleaning. The only sort of cleaning that matters: vaporization cleaning. I pulled out the M to go with lotsa coffee and a little cleaning. And I kinda fell in love all over again. With the wise words of @mrb in my head and being inspired by them, I changed up the flame distance (way back/stop before click) and draw rate/strength (light and easy). Wow, was that a rewarding experience! :haw:

The SS tip is ideal for this since it holds the heat so long, once it's "up to temp". Also, something I'm so thankful for and don't believe I ever expressed: Much heartfelt gratitude and YUGE props to the member(s) who noticed and then taught the best mod ever: The Miracle Mod of filing the tip to copy this detail of the Ti tip. Was it piggie? Anyway it's been a game-changer I think for pretty much every reader that has or ever will own this model or the SS tip. That little detail increases performance tenfold. Yep, that's an empirical fact and not like just my opinion and stuff, man. Trust me, I've done the calculations. :D

The M may be the perfect introductory, entry level VC but it's in no way inferior imo. What it lacks in its refinement is easily compensated for and it more than makes up for with its own unique mojo. I now plan to be conducting research and performing other new experiments with the M and its SS tip. I'm also now thinking of using a SS tip for my future piggie production. Before this morning, I suppose I was going with titanium by default? I dunno, but I am so flipping glad I decided to bake with it this morning! :freak:

I also love the ss tip, it pairs extremely well with my phattpiggie long stem. The combo is perfect for a languid morning wake up session, you’ll look as luxurious as you feel:cool:. Funny how you should mention the airflow, I found the extra length from the PP stem compensated for the restriction from the ss tip making it the perfect balance. On a more sobering note I’m not sure if the ss heated expansion is responsible for the splitting that’s occurred on my stem. Since my suspicion began I’ve been too paranoid to use the ss tip with any other wood pieces.

The expanding cycle of the heated tip, and cooling, is most certainly going to compromise
the integrity of the stem—unless it is capped (to minimize that cracking certainty).

PP’s stems “wood” be precious + , with caps.....

@stark1 & @almost there Sorry but I'm kinda knackered and battered after a gruelling afternoon yesterday and feeling rather stupid. So then, dumbing it down for me: SS tip = BAD for wood? I just very nearly wrote:"SS tip = HARD on wood" :o I'm so glad I caught it, thus avoiding another appearance in the out of context thread! See? Told ya, I'm a step too slow right now. Could be paying for yesterday. Might also be I followed the path of @paehtod and shoved a sugary budlet through my omniXL condenser before its bath. I didn't get the same amount of gooey goodness but I probably clean it too often.

Holy Smoke! I mean Holy Vapor! I stuck that in a glass stem for x-vape and took pull after pull until my eyes were/are barely open. Got more left I think, but it has put the nap-down on me! Saving the rest for nighttime but honestly my muscles are very grateful for that deep-relaxed, sedative effect right now.
I love a good nap these days. :myday: :science: + :leaf: =

@Mr.Sifter what stark1 said. Follow each spiral on the tip to the end, there are 3. With a needle file (super cheap if you don't have) and file a small hollow out on each. Less than 10 minutes to do and it changes everything in terms of airflow. If you look at the titanium tip, these little scallops are machined at the Pleasure Palace. On the M, you just have to do it yourself. I'm sorry that you didn't know about this earlier but I didn't know that you didn't know. At least it came up now!

I really can’t say if my own paranoia has any validity, I’m just taking an extra cautious route because I’m kinda that type of person. George stated to me as long as ID of the stem isn’t too tight it shouldn’t be a problem. The humidity and temperature of your environment is a great factor too.

I haven't done this yet afraid of fucking it up. Buuut, now that I have another (Sandblasted) M, I'm prepared to give it a go...although I don't have much in the way of workshop/tools . So, hopefully one of you well-organized VapCappers might, hopefully, hit me with a link to "M Tip Filing for Idiots". Ta.

It helps my backswing
When I push it through water I can clear .07 in one lung buster

Would like some advice on this ^^^

I've been using the omni through a hydratube trying to clear .05 with one hit. It's always 2 as the vapor just stops. I *could* clear in one if it would let me. I stop cuz the vapor stops?

I think I have a solid seal. Great 2 hits. When I carb I can see the restricted airflow in the bubbles and feel the pull of air through the carb. I draw until the cool down clicks.

Help...

Your @phattpiggie stems are beautiful. What a fantastic set! Would the wood happen to be Cocobolo and Blackwood? Are the profiles 18mm VonG, 14mm VonG and a round stem?

thus avoiding another appearance in the out of context thread!
I'll be watching every move, every syllable, every phrase you type. Be afraid. Be very afraid. :)

I am still worried about the degrade of my wood stems
Is the SS Tip harmfull to the wood ?
heat? diameter ?
I think that if there is any extra heat from the SS tip, it must be minimal. Although stems made from metal are certainly able to withstand all kinds of abuse compared to wood, wood is still pretty resilient. I have a PP stem that he gifted me with my last order because it had a tiny crack in the wood at the hot end and in the year that I've had it the crack has not developed further. Now, I must say that I have been extra careful with it and I don't routinely change the tip out, but it has been able to withstand a years worth of heating in rotation with other VCs with no noticeable deterioration. The tips orings shield the heat from the wood and the condenser shields the wood from the hot vapor.

IMO, the stress of pushing the tip into the stem and removing it is much greater than heat from the tip. I'm always careful to pull the tip straight on with a gentle twist like turning a door knob. Wiggling or rocking your tip in and out is the best way to crack wood.

I have a set of these files. I've had them for years. They are surprisingly handy. I probably use them more than my larger files and rasps. They are a great addition to your tool box.

Anyone have any tips for a new Omni user, coming from an M/Woody? Was just gifted one, and trying to get the hang of the adjustable condenser.

Edit: To be more specific, I guess I’m trying to see if I’m adjusting it right. I see some videos online where the mouthpiece comes out a bit from the stem, and others where it stays mated to the stem, just a bit of a turn left and right. Just confused as no matter what way I rotate it, I can’t get 100% air cutoff as if I were fully plugging the carb.

I hav an M. Try a pre heat, run one cycle with an empty cap, then load after cool down click.
