Yup. I learned about this on reddit, and after the positive comments went straight to the dynastash website to order. (Haven't been on FC in a while...I know, I know...)
Didn't realize there was a backlog until I came here to learn more about it.
I really really don't mind waiting...it sounds like it's totally worth it. But as with all things, when you've paid your money and dates keep changing, it would be nice to get some sort of official word on this. Especially since the website seems to be automating the projected ship dates.
Greetings everyone!
I apologize for not posting here sooner. I am happy to report I have a nice batch of orders going out tomorrow morning. This shipment should bring almost all of the orders through Jan 20 from the wait list to the shipped list. I will also be shipping many more in a few more days. My new mouthpieces are scheduled to arrive next week too.
As far as the ship date on my website.
I try to keep updating it as to when I hope to ship new orders made at that point, so new customers can have some idea of when things will ship. If your order is already in, there is a good chance it will ship before the ship date. Hopefully the wait times will steadily decrease as I get my production equipment more set up and dialed in.
The delays recently experienced are a result of sales not slowing down after the holiday like I thought they would. I was thinking I would be able to focus more on scaling production as there wouldn't be such a rush of orders like there was just before the holiday, but it didn't happen that way. It hasn't slowed down, in fact I ended up with more orders in January, than December.
Thank you everyone!
I must say, I sincerely appreciate everyone's patience here as I am trying to build product and at the same time scale up my operation so I can keep the delay from order to shipment as short as possible. This is on top of trying to resolve some of the other production issues like the Ti Woodies cracking.
I have good news on that issue as well as I hope to receive my first run of generation 2 Ti tips tomorrow.
Last,
If the wait becomes difficult, and you just really need to know how things are coming along, just send me a message here or to my direct email
george@dynavap.com I will answer, promise.
I would like to again thank everyone for their support and patience as I get this little project off the ground. I am essentially a 1 man show at this point so again, your patience and understanding is very much appreciated, as well as any feedback good and bad regarding my product AND customer service. This project is my passion and I take it very seriously.
There are more good things coming!
Cheers,
George
