You too, what are you saying? That you want one really bad and that you're jelly of anyone cray-cray enough to afford it...?
Prices like that just make laugh as I am a citizen of the poorest EU member .You can buy 5 x VW Golf V1 for that price around here... It is also worth a 1 year rent of two room apartment in the capitol ,lol ...

I think they make everyone laugh everywhere, man... I bet they don't even exist and if someone were dumb enough to try and buy one, they'd either say they are "out" or rip you off with something else... it's a marketing ploy. "look how much you can spend", "now look how much you only have spend to achieve a similar result".... and then buy this for $275 or $190 on sale, whatever (no offense to you personally @MegaMan2k, and in fact, I am little jealous you can afford that and I do want one.)

The SiC insert that I bought for $33 (-15% off) fucking kicks ass! I shit-you-not. Totally worth it, works great..! In fact, I might even say GAME CHANGER! Now all I need is 2 more of 'em.

The fact that Shane isn't offering these very ones is criminal... he could easily get $100 a piece. No problem. They fit PERFECTLY in a deep dish opaque bottom banger and can spin 3 6mm pearls just fine. PERFECTLY! (the $33 one, not sure about the $29 one)

No offense taken, and i probably wouldnt have bought into the s-tier if it wasnt for the recommendation of a real-life friend that has kept talking about it and praising it alot for a while now.

Infact the maker of the s-tier FadeSpace have been trolled quite a bit by serval individuals on instagram lately, they are claiming he is up-selling cheap chineese materials as Japaneese, and that its like inhaling brake-pad dust or smoking on hip implants.

The memes have been pretty crazy, has been going on for serval weeks, maybe longer?
I do not know what ignited this situation, as far i can tell it might have started out with this FadeSpace person getting into some kind of argument with people asking questions about specs and prices etc. hard to tell what is true or sarcasm at this point lol..

Dude, their unbranded (?) $85 SiC one is exactly like my $33 one and no doubt the same as the $29 one.... I'd almost bet anything on it.

Thanks for being open and honest about it! Awesome!

I mean, the guy has practically built a reputation based on starting shit and undermining every other company in the industry, so I’m not surprised to hear the flack.

I don’t doubt the parts exist though, the concentrate vaping scene is more advanced and willing to spend much more money than the dry herb community in many ways. Maybe it’s because concentrates are just much simpler to vaporize, but overall the standards seem higher.

No need to try and polish a turd, if thats what it is , then thats what i will report back. Lol :D
Guess i kind of took a leap of faith with my friends recommendation here... Well, fingers crossed i suppose!!

Couldnt agree more @invertedisdead the market for high-end dab gear like bangers and inserts are stupid expensive.. oooh and dont forget the rig xD ....

Maybe at the end of the day i will just go back to my trusty e-nail :D

I don't think you will be disappointed, I used one before, it was amazing and it was very nice concentrate used as well. I can only compare it to the Newvape SiC halo for the vrod as far as insert materials are concerned, I found the taste of the S-tier to be much superior.
A little caveat to this is the vrod passes concentrate vapour through the diffuser which affects the flavour in my opinion so the difference may have been exaggerated.

I've been eyeing up a s-tier myself just haven't pulled the trigger yet.

interesting, thats what my friend kept telling me too...
I gifted some of my rosin and my friend hit it on all his dabbing surfaces he had in the house, quartz bangers sic inserts, S-tier, sapphire insert, and on the puffco pro, but kept going back to the S-tier and saying the taste was just better no questions asked.

In my opinion some dabs just taste better on some surfaces than others. Had stuff I liked on SiC, had stuff I preferred on sapphire. Recently I did a few quartz dabs for a change and was enjoying those.

I designed an enail that combines the best elements of every dabbing system out there into one device...... ;) I’m just unsure if the enail market is totally dead or not, as everyone in the scene seems to use quartz with IR thermometers instead. Most of these thermometers cost more than an enail setup already so the market seems to have spoken.

Sapphire is a material I've really wanted to try. I will have to try some shatter and rosin on different surfaces and see if I can notice a difference.

After the flowerpot I moved to a quartz banger and torch, no fancy IR temp reader just a timer. I really like the ritual aspect of dabbing this way, I've played around with a shoddily put together enail set up but it just wasn't for me. But yeah the price of dabbing accessories can be crazy.

Started out with the torch for a few years, then i swapped to E-nail for the entire year of 2019, then back to torch dabs for 2020.
I like the ease of just having to flick the switch... Now days i will do E-nail for the first few dabs of the day then torch dabs for the night dabs.

I have both the Terpometer and the "DabRite" , my opinion is the Terpometer is a big upgrade if ur currently using the timer-tech, but the DabRite is unnecessarily expensive, and when it comes down to it its not as acurate as Terpometer, well not for 30mm atleast since the temp is different around my banger. So the Terpometer allows me to probe around and make sure there is no hot spots, but Dabrite just reads one spot in a stationary position.

For E-nail i use E.ross 4.0, i wonder how it holds up against the 710 coils i see alot of people in here using

Damn @MegaMan2k where ya been?!?

I am so glad you responded, I started a thread the other day looking for people with both! So glad to hear your recommendation, I’ll purchase a terpometer with confidence!

What are everyone’s preferred method for using inserts? Full on cold start, or dropping insert into a hot banger, or dropping material into an insert already in a hot banger?

I tend to favor the first two options

So, to translate the deadhead, cryptic, stoner-speak... You're saying that you prefer to vape at high temps and read that they're primarily used for various forms of "cold-starting" and low-temp vaping and that's why you've never tried using them before....? Is this correct?

No. That is not why I haven't tried using them more. I'd like to try them, but just haven't gotten around to it yet. And, no, I am not a "dead-head", and that was not "cryptic stoner-speak".

No need to throw out the unnecessary, petty name-calling insults though. F.Y.I. - That's not usually considered acceptable behavior around here. ☹️

Sorry, man! I didn't mean for you to take that as a personal insult at all, just trying to understand your reply that I still have no idea what you mean by... only looking for some clarification. I call all cryptic replies from all my old deadhead buddies (I'm not and never was) that and feel they're only stated merely to make others ask questions instead of just leaving a concise statement that could avoid any possible confusion.

Been here for over 3 years. Almost as long as you, and I'm fully aware of what's "usually considered acceptable behavior around here." Thanks for the unsolicited advice and all, but it's def not necessary. :)

Thanks for the clarification. My apologies for such a rough reply. Deadhead has always been a pejorative where I live, as well as "stoner" (lazy, shitty addict type of cannabis user). I'm not familiar with the term "cryptic stoner", but I took it as being along the same lines.

As far as I'm aware, up-temp vaping is a well-known style of using concentrates. People talk about it around here all the time. I've just never seen it referred to with such insults.

Thanks for replying. We're good

I still don't understand what seemed "cryptic" about my comment though. 🤔

@MegaMan2k the other one I've had an eye on is TemperTerp, are you familiar with that one?
Their offering is actually a bit unique, their unit sells with either an IR or a touch sensor, or both.

It also has some pretty cool features like "decay" where it can accurately estimates how quickly your quartz is cooling, without the IR sensor or touching.

Lol I thought a Deadhead meant a person who is really into The Grateful Dead. Now IM confused

@FlyingLow Sorry i didnt see ur thread brother ive been offline from FuckingCombustion for alittle since the domain change and all that stuff happend, but im back, yeaaa!! ø'

You gotta ask yourself if you are willing to sit there and hold the terpometer and push it down against ur quartz, its annoying to say the least, the tip of the probe can actually scratch ur quartz if not done carfully, you must push it into one spot, then lift it and push it straight into the next spot, If you drag the probe across the floor of the banger it WILL scratch, Reason for this being that the tip of the probe it quite sharp, if i had known this then i would have grinded or sanded the tip down a slight bit before starting to use it, by doing this the issue can be 100% eliminated.

But then again, the only reason i have to measure serval spots are as i mentioned earlier in this thread, the rippled evan-shore banger that im stuck with, When i see my friends using it they just measure in 1 spot and they dont have problems with hotspots like I do.

The DabRite is so much less effort because its stationary no need to hold anything and alarm goes off when it reaches the temp you set.
However, it measure the underside of the banger and not the surface you actually dab on, so the temp it shows is not the actual dab-temp, like at all! My first session with the DabRite after using the Terpometer was out-right disappointing lol. so again my rippled banger ofcourse affect this, but my guess would be that the DabRite would work just fine with a good quality 25mm, after you figure out which temp the underside of ur banger should be in order to have the perfect surface temp on the actual floor that is. (lol)

Havnt tried the TemperTerp yet, but its no wonder more and more companies are trying to push out these devices after we've all witnessed the succes TempTech, DabRite, Terpometer etc. My guess is it would be just as good as the others, no one has really developed any proprietary tech to measureing banger temps, it's all based on probes and basic IR as u mention...

So after years of exclusively dabbing on Silicon Nitride, I Switch(d) to Silicon Carbide and have now added an Aluminum Nitride insert to my stable.
The rumors were true, very true - and whatever the math, flavor rings true, very true. A dab becomes a novel. *****

I'm going to read a little bit!

My thoughts closely follow standard reviews. AiN is substantially better than SiC. Noticeablly higher vapor volume and quality, better flavor - looks cooler!
I throw that last one in because when it's clean it's sweet. However, it's always dirty - real ugly cigarette in the urinal dirty, so thats frustrating.

Thermal shocked my sic insert today.

fun part is it was still a bit warm I guess as I stuck it back together and now it's tight again. From the outside you can't even tell it was broke.

One small crack on the bottom.

Edit to add.

Clumsy me dropped it and it's gone for good.

Have you heard about the boom on Mizar 5?
So I got the S-tier

I dont even feel the thing is worthy of a picture or a real review.
All im going to say is, DONT waste ur money!

What a fricking scam!

I realize you said all your going to say but is there anything big you don't like about it ;)? I know from what I've read it gets real dirty real fast but I've seen generally favorable impressions from those who have one.

That was the next big dab purchase I've been looking at since last spring but I'm beginning to lean towards just getting a sapphire to go with my ruby insert which is my current go to. I just wish there were more affordable 30mm options then what I've seen so far (yes I am talking about affordability and buying from FadeSpace in the same post:razz:)
