I think DDave himself knows I like his product, I've talked about it a fair bit on here, and on vaporents as well. What can I say, it's an awesome product, and I like to share my experiences when they're good. If I greatly enjoy a product, I'm going to want you, to, too, just to share the experience. I think it's essential to the EQ if a person is going to pick one up. I haven't put the stock bowl on once since the day got my DDave mod. What's interesting is the fact that the mod itself was something that a year ago, when I first got my EQ, it was something I just didn't think was necessary. I never saw myself buying one, until I saw some performance videos with it. Now I'd never go back.

Would you say only the EQ mod is essential, what about the LSV or other 7th floor? Maybe I'm asking the wrong person and apologies if you don't know. I'm thinking of getting an LSV on day, I don't think I have a use for the ssv or dbv since I have an aromed for a whip vape. My father is building me a custom log vape! I will definitely share results and videos once it's ready! Anyways I'm getting off topic

His mod is essentially a 18F/18F female adapter that has a screen in it, so it acts as a new bowl. It increases airflow because of the lack of a glass ring from the stock bowl, to hold the screen in. It also drops your herb down a decent amount, meaning it gets more even, better extraction overall. It also increases efficiency, too, using a lot less herb!
Edit: I have the basic version, with just the adapters. A lot of people use SSV wands with theirs, as the mod allows for a really thick satisfying whip experience for the EQ, something stock doesn't really offer. There are a few other tubes and goodies, too, but I'm not familiar with them too much.
I'm not familiar with 7th floor too much, to be honest. I have the basic version of the mod and have my own whip setup for my d020-d, using the tubing from my MFLB UFO, and a universal 18mm water pipe adapter from vapor brothers. I use either my d020-d with it, it bags.

Latest revision of kits include custom wands and basket screens and addition of a mini-mod with all pieces in 14mm Size to allow even greater control in dosing. Adapters are measured and weighed before I accept them from my supplier so that they are all same specs. Wands and basket screens are different internal dimensions than Arizer baskets or SSV Wands. (If you read into the Mod threads or that of the vaporizers themselves, you'll see first hand accounts of feedback from those who have obtained them reporting in improvements in effect, flavor, and conservation.)
These mods have been adapted for 7th Floor Vapes as well, latest being the micro-mod for SSV & DBV which comes with a mod kit. All kits listed on eBay with pics... link in my signature.
Why did I start offering these kits?
Long story... and I'm known to be long winded...
But I'll keep it brief.
I found my vaporizer always pushing me towards using more and for lack of better words, overdosing. I had vertigo I was trying to address, but I didn't want to incapacitate myself in doing so. That began the mod quest. After success, I shared this info on FC so others could benefit.
Shortly after, another vendor started offering the adapter and screens under my name. I was honestly flattered... but that was short lived. As I watched the mod gain in popularity, I also watched his price rise until many came to FC and voiced their disappointment on not being able to afford it. At one point $25 for one adapter and 3 screens.
In the meantime, I was tweaking the mod further, as I knew even better control and extraction was a possibility. I ended up being able to source everything needed and started to offer these kits on eBay.
The full EQ kit is $55, with free shipping for CONUS, discounted shipping for international. Includes:
4 Glass F/F adapters (2x18mm & 2x14mm) for different dosing/flavor/variety
2 Glass Wands (14mm & 18mm) matching the size of the adapter of choice.
6 Custom Basket Screens (3x14mm & 3x18mm) fit inside wands
2 2.5 Foot High Temp Silicone Whip Tubes (that can withstand boiling to clean).
1 Hot adapter clamp
2 Whip to Water Tool adapters (14mm & 18mm) to accommodate Water Pipe Use.
There are subsets of this EQ kit, 14mm Only - 18mm Only - and just the DDave Adapter Mod available.
And now have branched out to the 7th Floor desktop Vapes trying to do the same, give you greater control over your vaping session, dosing, and ability to conserve your herbs..

I think I posted this in the SSV thread but it certainly bears repeating, especially now that I've spent more time testing it.
The mini and micro DDave mods for the SSV are awesome when combined with a water bubbler. I used to have herb backblasted onto the SSV's heating element after taking a rip because the negative pressure generated by the bubbles would re-equilibrate and end up pushing air back out, in reverse, from the bubbler to the wand. Something about the metal screens, perhaps the smaller surface area, helps pack the weed in so well that airflow is still fine but it appears that the surrounding pressure of the ground bud keeps it together!
I'm quite happy, both mods are excellent, the micro is perfect for a one hit dose of medicine to stave off anxiety or panic (insofar as social anxiety goes), the mini is my daily driver now as I enjoy overindulging to reach a more copacetic mind state and for sleep. In both cases I would never have imagined the flavor to be as good as it has been with this mod, but my experience holds true! @DDave, thanks so much man!

I'm still working on another revision of the mod that will fully address any blowback possibility, regardless of glass used, and may end up a great go-to for hash and/or concentrates as well. Currently in testing mode...

The mod has reduced my intake by another 50%
Vapor production is almost unreal.
I hit my beast in front of my brother in law who has had the SSV for a very long time.
He watched me exhale ...
He said..
"What the fuck??"
"You must have combusted, but I can't smell smoke "
I pulled my wand... Still yellow ABV
His jaw fell right off his face, fell on the ground and rolled under my bed...haha
I said it's "Wizardry"
He always wants to know why I don't dab anymore.

Plus it links to my first impressions of the first (?) review of @DDave kit.
I'm already getting nostalgic. Glad I fell in with the right crowd already and bought an EQ, then got to see things develop with the first @DDave kits.
Part of the fun of the having the EQ kit and knowing it's power, Is anticipating the response you know is going to happen to some unsuspecting first time user who mentioned buying the kit and they are waiting for it to arrive in the mail.
Then the OMG responses or something to that effect. 
Before I had a sig that helped save me with some of the questions about the @DDave kit. I even had a new user recommend one to me. Good advice.
Now for some input.
I do like the straight 18mm wands that you offer for the EQ. But thought I'd mention anyway that my favorite wand isn't a wand (It's a 6 slit downstem), but it has thicker glass towards the adapter end. Which seems to help heat up the tip hats better with even less heat up time.

The DDave kit for the EQ is a total game changer. It is Friday evening & after a tough week I have given the 18mm a thrashing with a bit of everything thrown at it. I posted a lengthy review of the kit in the DDave thread but it turns a great vaporizer legendary it really does.
@DDave is more like a friendly Elf that lives at the top of a far flung mountain in Skyrim that you stumble across whilst on a quest. He holds a powerful artifact & is willing to share it's power doubling your magika instantly if you just show a little faith & give him 50 gold. Give him the gold & journey on spreading word far & wide of his legendary accomplishments so all of Skyrim speak the name of DDave with reverent pride.

I was on the verge of putting my LSV up on classifieds before i got the @DDave mod kit. The LSV was great, but it was too powerful. I was using double or triple the amount daily compared to my log. Enter DDave's mod kit (I have nicknamed him El Matador for this very reason) which tames this beast making direct draws and water hits much more flavorful. The kit also has a tiny bowl size, so now my LSV is just as efficient as my log. I have to give this mod kit 5 WOOOOOOOOOOOOOs on the wooooo scale with 5 being the maximum.
