What temp do you guys usually vape your Miqro at? Usually if I want to get comparable vapor to my full size units, I’ll use it from 420-430F or Smart Path 4. Sometimes I’ll use smartpath 3 if I want less harsh vapor but it’s usually not that bad at higher temps for me.

Also, what batteries are you guys using? I’ve found that the purple ones from Davinci weren’t reliable. I have 4 dead purple batteries from Davinci.

I usually pack tight filled to just above the white line ... carries me for two sessions, at Smartpath 3 and then later 4 .... I finish off the remainder in one of me Dynavap's

Found any good 10mm to 14mm water adapters? I find that with half of them, the stem on the Miqro is too short and the body prevents it from getting fully in and getting a good seal.

I use the long mouthpiece with this adapter (Mine is actually an older version. But should work the same)

I'm hoping somebody is willing to post a photo of the bottom of the battery compartment. I seem to be missing a spring and now my battery is loose and unable to make contact. Unfortunately I never really looked that closely to the parts and have no memory of its construction. I can't imagine it would be hard to fix or fabricate the missing piece once I see it, and that would save me from having to send it back for repair at DaVinci. any help is greatly appreciated .

My camera is not handy, but there is a spring there but not in the normal way. It goes under the Gold plated contract strap. It offers very little 'spring' and no 'bounce' to the battery being dropped as you'd normally find. If it's rattling (which I find hard to believe) I suspect you could wedge a bit of cotton under the strap?

Vapcell currently makes some of the best batteries in the biz, you chose very well! For an alternative, look at Efest's 1200mAh 18350s. They were vetted by a battery expert and they're apparently pretty good performers, aside from being closer to 8A CDR than the 10.5A they advertise. Almost all of Efest's batteries are way overrated for their amp limits, so be sure to dig into them before you buy.

I just got a Miqro last week. The dude who sent it to me sent some 700mAh batteries so those desperately needed replacing. I just got two of those 1200mAh Efests and it's gone from 3 seshes to 5+ seshes, depending on temp. I'm pretty happy about that! This thing's pretty cool. The finish on it is so nice. I used to work in a kitchen so the heat doesn't bother me without the glove.

Does anyone else find Smart Paths to be less useful on the Miqro than they are on the IQ? I'm not sure what it is. It might be the reduced sesh length.

Agreed on VapCell ... good batteries

I do two full Smartpath sessions (SP3 and SP4) with a stir in between, and then finish off the AVB in my DynaVap ... do you use fixed temp sessions?

Do you do that all in one sesh? That's about what I do too except I end on max temp after 2-3 minutes, I like to use the boost feature to do that. Sometimes I'll manually temp-step. I start at 190C, turn it to 205C when the vapour gets weak, then 221C to really get the abv dark.

I have a Miqro and recently purchased a couple of replacement and enhancement parts.

One of the parts was a replacement flat mouthpiece. While I didn't see it in the picture, I assumed (wrongly) that it would include the silicone gasket. I went back to the website for Davinci and looked for the mouthpiece silicone, but they don't have it listed.

I put in a ticket to ask and have been going back and forth about whether it is or is not available.

The device is useless if you lose the silicone piece. Have any of you lost/ripped this item and had any luck getting a replacement? It seems to fit perfectly, from what I remember, with either the flat or the 10mm mouthpieces.

Real weird as when I bought my Miqro I purchased a spare flat mouthpiece and it did come with the silicone piece ... follow up with Davinci

The one piece I found was not replaceable is the cover for the usb port which doesn't fit tight to the unit anyway, even under the sleeve, but I like to keep it covered while sitting on the shelf

The Miqro runs real hot at SP4 ... best to use the sleeve

The price of the Miqro is quite low at the moment (120 dollars for the explorer edition). I would have bought it in a heartbeat if there was an official spacer for it, like the IQ. I'm curious why Davinci haven't developed one and put in on the market; is the heater too weak for it? Or was is deliberate decision so that the Miqro doesn't compete with the IQ2?

I'm still intrigued by this one,but I'm afraid that the oven size is too big for my "miqro tolerance". A question to the Miqro owners: how are the effects after one session on a lower temp smart path? If the effects aren't too overwhelming for someone with a low tolerance then I could be interested in this device.

I don't think there ever will be a spacer due to the design. The 'Pearl' (cover for the load) is adjustable up and down on a threaded stud allowing you to change the chamber size, cutting it in half or more?

As to how that will suit you, I'm in no position to offer advice really, entirely too subjective. My tolerance is fairly low, and I don't find minimum loads on the first range quite enough. I've backed the pearl off (larger load, around 80mG IIRC and medium heat.

Only one way to really tell if it 'fits your pistol'.......

Yeah ... agree with OF on all points ... the spacer dream is over. The Miqros big big plus is its discrete as can be size and impressive solid as a rock engineering. I wouldn't worry about the oven size ... fill it almost full, tamp down with a push pin to just above the white area and then set the pearl to 5 full revs and you're off to the races ... the lowest I go is SP2 as well ... you know you want it ...

I've probably had my Miqro about a year... I use it maybe once or twice during the week...I prefer my Storz Bickel Mighty..... The Miqro is a nice piece of equipment....It is very easy and pleasing contraption...I would recommend one to anybody....One thing to be aware of...You don't getta lot of clouds...but.....trust me those no clouds will put you in orbit.... trust me on this......don't think..."I didn't see much vape...probably won't get off".......Buckle your seat belt....

Picked up a miqro explorer pack a couple weeks ago since I'd been curious about it for ages. I'm a sucker for tiny devices (especially vapes). Given all the comments I read about it online, I expected it to suck. Terrible battery life, no vapor, uncomfortable to use, harsh hits. It was shocking to find all this was unfounded.

Certainly a high tolerance user would find the device lacking, but it's more than enough in most areas for me and I don't consider myself a microdoser. On 430F, I get lots of visible vapor, and all the high temp effects I love are there (I can tell when it's missing). While I'm not a person that likes automatic modes, and was not interested in smart paths, davinci really nailed it with SP4.

I usually do two sessions on smart path 4, then two sessions on 430F, and the load is fully extracted. That first SP4 session flavor is... wow. I was not expecting CBD to taste so good. Abacus is bursting with the flavor of grape and blueberry. The long vaporpath does it's job, too, because the vapor isn't harsh or even hot on back to back hits.

Form factor and build quality is just the coolest thing. It's like a tiny river pebble in the hand. A little vapor friend.

Battery life isn't the worst considering 18350 have 1/3 the capacity of an 18650. With my high temps, I get 3 solid sessions from a battery, and a little bit extra. Unfortunately, it takes 4 sessions to fully extract a full oven. The spare batteries are tiny, and I have that nice keyring carrier anyway, so I think 2 cells could get me through a night partying (post pandemic) just fine.

I'd like to see the miqro size but just longer to take an 18650. The rest of the device is perfect all around and I have no idea why the iq and iq2 need to be so bulky. That said, I get that the pax/furna/starry/etc already fill this form factor role, and there are few/no good ultraportables like the miqro.

You can always carry a spare cell, but you can't make a large device smaller. Better to have a tiny device in the pocket for most excursions, and the extra cell when you actually need it.

Question: Do 1100/1200 mAh cells like this really give the battery life boost over the stock 900mAh to make the price worth it?

As you say, the only downside is the 18350's short lifespan.
While this is a "tiny" vape, it performs like a giant. Same smart features and cloud production as its big sibling.
