DaVinci IQ2 & IQ3

Was hoping @Davinci_vaporizer would have posted on the forum by now offering a little bit more info about the IQ3. Know the size of the bowl, battery, and the overall unit is larger and now has a usb-c charging port, but what about heater capacity and response to longer, harder draws?

The build quality on the IQ2 is top shelf, and have no reason to believe the IQ3 would be any different since offered with the same ten year warranty. Although, a little more info for those of us who still enjoy a session with a quality conduction vape when the occasion calls would be much appreciated. :)

If you need reviews I don't think there is anything too groundbreaking with new IQ3 compared to the IQ2? If it really appeals to you, I would go for it, and then let us know what you think here! S3 is quite different, so it's possible that might appeal to you more, but I wouldn't let the reviews guide you :2c:

Yeah from what I gathered it is just an IQ2 with an humongous bowl and slightly better cooling. What I like about the IQ3 is the (mostly) conduction heating and its sleek look. While those things are nice it is not enough for me to justify spending that much on it :\

I have all the IQ line except the IQ3, which I don't plan on buying. The OG IQ seems to have the best airflow and vapor quality, but sadly mine is one of those with the weak magnet on the loading chamber door.
Sadly, someone stole my DaVinci Ascent, which I loved over any other vape I've ever owned!

Is the Davinci app working for anyone? I tried mine today and it keeps crashing, tried removing app and reinstall, even making a new account and it still crashes.

i still have the IQ1... tested IQ2 a month ago... no big diff and specially the draw resistance is almost the same... not 'airy' which to me is an issue...
prefer how the mighty draws for instance...

what about the IQ3?

got a Roffu also...
tastes better, but i still enjoy the 'stealthness' of the IQ1 for outside use, veryyy practical size and design!!!
Everyone thinks it's a kind of e-cig etc...

Forum newguy here, wondering if anyone has experience with the Davinci IQ3 yet? (If this post should go in another forum, LMK)

Have used the Miqro-C for a while, like it, and have thought about upgrading to something larger. Saw the IQ3 was released and YouTube reviews look good … as usual, I sometimes feel people on monitized platforms have a motive to downplay their negative opinions.

So, looking for other opinions. Thanks!

Does anyone know of a retailer with stock of the ceramic dosing pods? (I'm in the UK, but will buy from anywhere)
Or does anyone here have some used ones they'd like to sell?
I also posted this request in the IQC forum.

I don’t, but one was included with my first IQ, and it was horrible. I switched to the stainless steel version, and that worked much better. Many other users confirmed the same observation. Just a heads up….

Thanks, what aspect/s were horrible?
I don't mind the slower heat up, but I'm hoping to make the most of flavour, and I seem to be able to taste (and dislike) stainless pods that I've tried in other vapes.
I quite like the taste the mIQro provides without a pod though.

I mentioned it here and in other posts, basically never got much vapor from them, all the extra heat they need also drains the battery faster.

I have about 40 different vapes and got my IQ3 about a month ago. It is actually one of my favorites. The bowl is huge, so I use it when I don't want to mess around with dosing caps and want a nice long "sip" session.
Speaking of dosing caps, it came with one, and I am a huge dosing cap fan, but for whatever reason, it absolutely sucks with the IQ3. Pretty much the only vape I prefer to just load it with dry herb. I don't think it was made for it though, as the fit is weird and way too small and produces almost zero vapor.

Maybe you got a cap for the iq2 in error?
I can imagine a cap which doesn't come close enough to the oven walls might not transfer heat well.

I never had an IQ2, but from looking at the pics, it does look like it is the same exact ones for the IQ2. The dosing cap is too narrow and too short for the bowl, it’s kind of weird. I am happy with my purchase though, otherwise. I paid $250.

VapingVette916,
Davinci sells spacers that might help, and as I looked at the IQ3, the caps are the same as the IQ2.
yea, I don't think I'm even going to mess with them. I like how ginormous this bowl is, so when I just need a portable that I can chill with for a while without fussing with changing caps, this will be my goto.

Try hard noob
My IQ2 went quirky... it kept shutting off as it reached temp.

I've heard some customer service horror stories, so when I got in touch with davinci, I was surprised at how great they were.

Very friendly and helpful. Took me through the obvious fixes (try different batt, isopropyl on the hinges) and when they didn't work, sent me out a new one the same day.

Also they upgraded me to the 3 as 2 is discontinued. When they could have fobbed ne off with a C.
