That is true, our 220V units are displayed in Celsius. We do have a configuration setting to change the PID module to Fahrenheit though, we don't recommend rosineers to make that change if they are happy with Celsius.

I got a 220v unit from China, and am pretty sure it is set to degrees F.
@psychonaut can that be right?
Edit: so don't want to make this confusing. But are the 220v units shipped from Europe set to degrees C and the ones comming from China set to degrees F?

Mine has degrees C under the display if that helps.

All 220v units are now set to Celsius. If you wanna change it to Fahrenheit, I can send video instructions in PM, it's not a difficult process, but both PID's need adjustment.

Just to clarify, the only units that we sell configured for Fahrenheit are our 110V units which are sold in North America. I PM'd you the video so you can make the change to your preference

I've been a dabpress user for over a year now starting out with the 5x3 caged plates, and now rocking the 10ton AIO (not the stainless one). So far the build quality looks solid. There are some minor critiques I have, but none of them affect the performance of the unit. I'll provide a full review shortly, but wanted to say hi to everyone. Cheers!

...yea, well, UPS pretty much suks in my experiance...thank you for mailing me an update...
...the 10 ton pump has arrived from China in excellent condition but with no papers or packing slips of any kind...
We are still working on the manuals for the pump. The points to note, the black valve on the front of the pump is the release valve to apply or release pressure. The valve on the rear of the pump with our Dabpress logo and an arrow pointing towards it, that should have instructions on the pump there. Turn it 1/2 a turn then reclose the valve before you begin working. That's the bleed valve. Doing this before every pressing session will insure you don't get air trapped in the pump and have to bleed it.
As far as general maintenance, they recommend to change out the fluid annually with anti-foaming hydraulic jack oil. The manual will include instructions on how to drain and refill the fluid.
Max pressure is 8702 PSI / 60 MPa on the gauge.
Once your press arrives, you will only finger tighten the couplers between the hose and press. No need to use a wrench.

After you load the unit and start squishing, the whole unit can be turned on its side and the rosin can drip straight into your container or on a silicon mat. Some say it preserves taste as the rosin is on the heat for less time, I like the idea of less work collecting.

We are wrapping up the finishing touches on testing with our cold plate, that can be used in conjunction with driptech to help preserve terpenes. Of course you can make your own cold plate too. Additionally, we are finishing up our 4x7" AIO unit, it will be powered by hydraulic cylinder and hand pump.
Driptech I feel will give the rosineer a premier grade of oil when compared to what is still stuck on the parchment inbetween the platens. It's 1 step further than oil escaping the platens and dripping down the parchment. That oil is still exposed to higher temperatures albeit not huge, it is an improvement in preservation.
The easier collection is a nice effect as well.

I've done a lot of reading this thread, I'm settled on my choice with the dp-bj6t35. I'm only going to be pressing smaller amounts, up to 3.5g for personal use. I see they dabpress offer a bundle with the 2×4 pre press mold and 160 micron filters. The pre press mold says 7-12 grams will fit, is this too big for making smaller pucks for my case? Does anyone have any experience asking to swap the molds in the bundle?

Everything I've seen and read about it is really positive. It's also the perfect size wise to pack away in a closet while not in use.

That puck maker wouldn't work well for 3.5g materials, our 30mm puck maker does however. If you wanna PM me we can discuss making a change to suit your needs.
