Hello friends,
I was at my local shop a couple days ago and asked if they had a water pipe adapter for my Da Buddha. They didn't, but the guy told me that I could just remove the mouth piece and stick the tube into my water pipe, and that would create just as well an airtight seal as buying an adapter.
I unfortunately don't have my Da Buddha with me, or my bong, so I can't test this. But the width/size/whatever of my downstem is 14, and that is the same as the tubing for Da Buddha, I think.
So should I save my money and not get an actual water pipe adapter? Will I be fine with this?
I plan on getting a waterpipe attachment soon for 19mm GG. I think I might just order SSV's attachment, even though it is a bit pricier than some of the no-names I have seen, I have the peace of mind knowing I am in good hands
It appears, although I'm not sure that we use the same kind of tubing ( I use a vapor cannon ). Mine is the more 'fleshy' rubber stuff, not the hard 'siliconey' shit -- I hate that stuff -- I may have to end up ordering more tube because mine is only 2 feet long.
I'm wondering if it would be worth the effort to get a custom one (all clear with 4 blue dots) to match my BlueDot bong which I would be using it with.... any idea on the price mark-up?
I crank my da buddha full blast when just hitting it through the normal whip and mouthpiece. You just need to make sure to increase your draw as your increase your temp. So I crank it full blast and just hit it like a madman. I can get huge ass hits this way in seconds and it has changed many of my "vaping doesn't get me high enough" friends. because when I first got the da buddha I had it turned down and you had to hit it all slow. They weren't getting it so I turned it up so they could too get huge ass hits and really feel what vaping was all about. People come over now just to hit the da buddha Although if your hitting it through a waterpipe then my advice would be different.Hello wise Buddha vaporists!
A friend of mine bought a Da buddha to her boyfriend last month, but he still prefer to combust for the usual reasons: his smoker friends tells him it's a scam after 30sec trial and he doesn't reach the effect he gets by combustion(european style : half flower/half tobacco :-S ) .
I ll eat by their house on Saturday, so i will try to show him how to use it at high temp , and how to handle the learning curve.
I used 3 times a Da Buddha and i found it very easy to use but if an every day user can give me some advice and correct me if i'm wrong, i'll have a chance to convert him to Vapor(his girlfriend hates the odor of burned tobacco , so it truly will improve their relationship).
My plan is to start it at full temp for 5 mins while i grind approximately 0.2 grams . Then put the dial at 1 o'clock , and make him take a long draw (slightly slower than regular breathing) , keep it in his lung for a while .
Do you think i can go higher than one o'clock ( the most cannabinoid he extract at one time , the best it is)?
Wich kind of draw speed would you suggest me?
I will of course , speak to him about the general approach of vaporization , and i'll bring my e-cig to suggest an alternative to tobacco for a while ( i know he won't go back there if he quit for 2 weeks ). The main problem is the influence of his friends who , because they didn't figured out how to use it , use now his vapor genie(gift from his brother) as a regular pipe, ceramic filter completely screwed Oo. Sad but true.
Thanks to all the buddhist who will help me in this mission!
Thanks Vito. So I should order from 7th floor in order to get it to fit correctly?Make note that the Standard SSV HC is for a DBV.. so they will get the height correct.
There is a slight variance, and you want tha "hole" lined up nicely.
This is not all that uncommon a request... so they will know what to do!
7th Floor LLC has had this request before~
Ive owned the vape for over a year before i had it fixed by ssv for the cord getting messed up. They also put a steel clamp on it which i already broke my old HC on
