It's been a while, but I need to buy a new wand/whip. I've had my DBV for a few years now. I noticed they don't sell the style of wand that came with my unit. I was just wondering if the new wand will fit into the old heater cover, or if I need to get a new heater cover as well?

The newer wand fits the old style heater cover. The only difference in the heater covers is the diameter of the base of the cover (where the spring clips live). With the newer style wand you're in for a treat the screens seat soo much better than the old wands. You will need a different diameter screen for the new wand ... i believe they are .583".

Thanks for the quick replies. I'm gonna order that now. I've been cutting up my tubing to scrape out the smokable stuff because I don't have a long enough tool to do it otherwise. My screens are all gross. It's just time to freshen up again.

Does anyone know how to remove the dimmer and heating element on a DBV SO I can replace?

You know 7th Floor will repair any DB in or out of warranty, regardless of purchase point for $25 plus shipping?

I had a great experience with 7th Floor when my switch/dimmer had to be replaced. The unit was no longer heating and the knob was acting funny, so I emailed them and sent it in. I live in Michigan and it didn't feel like my unit was gone for that long. I don't have an exact estimate though. If it's a money issue, or you just already have the parts or something, you might even be able to email them asking about instructions to do it yourself.

hey bro, im curious I been looking on there allday and I see alot of people on here saying there is a 1/5 chance your gonna get a partly defective piece, but more so im guessing you have a buddha as well? What are the measurements I should be looking for to make sure the hose fits snuggly? sorry if they sound like dumb questions just most seem like oil rigs thanks man

Not dumb at all. The bubbler will arrive with an 18mm opening, so you might need a 18mm-14mm reducer. Or you can just buy the 18mm GonG adapter from the company. So far I have bought 2 bubblers and while neither is aesthetically perfect they are both quite functional, which is all that really matters to me.

can you give me a few sellers or brands that I could/should lookup? I just ran into a site 5mins ago that was selling most of the pieces on there for a little over double the price, felt better about not buying on impulse once I realized

Hey Guys, i have just discovered this awesome forum and thread. I have not used my black DBV for maybe 6 months now. I had a few really good vape sessions on it but don't think ive really mastered the right temperate yet. I haven't medicated for a little while now and will be getting the DBV back into action in the next couple of weeks and plan to use the low and slow method.

I do however have some wand hash in the glass piece and was going to try the hot chocolate method, heating it in a pan with some milk and adding powdered chocolate for a nice winter drink and hopefully a nice high.

I am a bit worried though as said wand hash must be eat least 7 months old by now. Is there a time line in which this stuff should be removed and used from the wand? Any signs to tell if it is not longer healthy to consume? Look forward to any info you guys can offer.

The wand hash should be fine assuming it was stored in a dry and clean place. I can't speak from experience though. If it looks or smells different than normal wand hash, you might want to avoid it. Hopefully somebody here will be able to give you a more solid answer. Welcome back to vaporizing!

Edit: also wondering if it gives out a strong smell when in the sauce pan? Though I cant imagine that it would

Simmering the stem in milk does produce a noticeable aroma. Be sure to use milk with a high fat content

My Da Buddha is brand-spanking new, and the screens that shipped with it are marked 14.8mm, which, according to WolframAlpha translates into 0.5827 inches. I just thought someone might like to know that @MileHighLife was indeed correct.

Whats the average delivery time? im in the midwest by the way.

I live in Canada, and it took 10 days to arrive to me .

everyone has their own opinion, when you get it I suggest doing a higher temp -12/1pm keep in mind some like to heat up their unit max for about a minute and a half then directly to 12, works like a charm. Butttt, if I were you, I'd stick to using a little with a bit higher temp since you been outta it for awhile, will definitely enjoy it; I caught myself indulging more often then not especially with sweet particular tasting bud, it all tastes different with different textures etc. You eventually will wanna consider a vapor bong setup after you get used to it and realize what an awesome investment you made, yourself included.

Make sure to use your pick you'll receive after every hit or so, helps it maintain even and is just overall a good routine to get into

Its gonna be a relief to finally get some sleep again I slept a total of 3 hrs last night one of the reasons I chose to use this medicine again. I tried melatonin gave me crazy dreams and wicked migranes in the morning.

Yeah weed is great for a good sleep. I've noticed if I vape or combust both result in the most relaxing sleep ever. I notice I either don't dream or can't remember my dreams after I medicate but when I take a break my dreams come back really intense for a few nights then back to normal.

I also notice that I feel what I guess id call a weed hang over for lack of a better term where I feel lethargic and look a bit pale If I combust shortly before going to bed. I don't think the same thing happens if I vape shortly before bed but it's been a while, too long ago to remember.

Hopefully ill be giving the buddha a good bit of use in the next couple months!

Well it arrived this afternoon. I dig the little carrying case it comes in pretty cool. I wasn't able to get many drags per stem but it still got me plenty toasted. I over medicated myself ha I forget how different the vape high was. Ill be playing with it some to see if I can make my technique better to get more drags each stem.

How high are you running your temp? If you back it down to around 12 o'clock, you'll be able to get around 20-30 hits or so. But if you crank it up to around 3 o'clock, you'll only get a few hits. Draw speed also plays a huge factor. Just goof around with it and you'll figure out what works best for you!

I had it set round 12o'clock. The abv came out a lighter tan color. I'll play around with the temp and my draw technique we'll see what happens
