So do you think corona virus is also going to be more deadly towards cannabis users who vape the herb aka inhalation? read something about pneumonia / fluid in the lungs being a problem which made me think about vaping habits :-)

No one knows yet. The only suspected "problem", other than just catching it, seems to be Chinese males. They are having the hardest time with it. As to why, again, no one knows. Some have opined it is because they tend to smoke more. Others point to some genetic markers the virus seems to link up with. (As to how true that is depends on if you read the more conspiratorial sites out there.)

The virus seems to be transmittable BEFORE symptoms show and a person will show about 9-10 days after exposure. (Why the 14 day quarantine works.) It is currently being distinguished by the LACK of muscle aches. A cold is runny nose, sore throat and cough. The flu is all those WITH body aches and fever. My-my-my-my-Corona does not seem to present with body aches.

It tends to resolve in (roughly around, still a thing being worked on) 75% of the cases just like a cold. The bad reaction is a viral pneumonia in the lower respiratory system. There has been some success with different antiviral medications but some of the weirdness of how the virus presents makes some think a vaccine is a ways away.

You read many things, I'm sure some are true. But, without support, they should be taken with a huge grain of salt. One such grain-of-salt thing I've started to read is the AGE of the victims. Few, if any, are 15 or under. The median age is between 56-59.

No, it doesn’t. Facts do not become more or less factual depending on where you prefer to get your information.

Truth exists and recognizing that is more important than it has ever been. Truth can be hard to find, hard to understand, hard to accept, or just unpopular. It can also save your life. Opinions and consensus do not change what the truth actually is.

All I know is that I just paid $70 for a couple packs of toilet paper on Amazon since no store around here has any. WTF is up with that? I guess it's time to stock up on weed, too, since it's at least as important as TP (depending on the circumstance). What else should I start hoarding?:hmm:

Yeah. Our local stores have largely empty TP shelves as well.

I've been wondering what use these people think TP is going to do against COVID-19?
Are people trying to make ineffectual bullshit face-masks out of it, or what?

At this price I'll just wash my ass with water and keep my $ for something really important, and it's cleaner than paper finally! I hope you was only joking!

Although I heard some peoples was fighting for toilet paper in supermarkets, pff... peoples are crazy.

It is even uglier here. A lot of imbeciles are calling the corona virus a hoax and they are public shaming people with masks .(i tell them that it i wear to protect them from my disease and they shut up immediatly,lol..)They feel obligated to tell you that mask are useless or that corona is not real,whatever makes them comfortable for not taking precaitions,really tempted to pull down my mask and cough their way to see their reaction. The state has always been in poor state when it comes to healthcare (we got one of the highest deathrate in the world and the highest in EU,highest child mortality too,and our goverment is well know to tamper on statistics and spare the EU the real truth.
Also there are no mask for sale anymore and desinfectants,but funny enough i am one of the very few people actually wearing one... Most people have bought them off so they can do dumping on the prices when the crysis hits. They cell 1$ masks for 20$ . I heard from a friend in Italy that they are selling 100euro a bottle for the desinfectant soaps.. lol... pretty sure the bad guys are earning great on this.
Medical personal is very badly trained for such situation here and are spreading the disease with their poor hygene and measures..People are going from the airport straight to their homes or to the hospital ,and quarantine is up to the individual... it is really scary shit when one sees his country abdicating that early into the shitstorm.Official go up with statements that it is just like any other flu and nothings to worry about and then on the next they are shouting code red everywhere,feels like the good old Chernobyl days around here as it comes to information. Official have confirment only 4 cases Sofar but two are on medical personal that was in contact with a lot of people,also they have done no more than 100-200 tests in total ,so with that kind of testing it is a wonder they found it all.

I have exactly two immediate family members, my mother and younger brother. That's it and I am alone on the planet otherwise.

My mother is in her upper 60s, and my younger has respiratory issues. So, both are in the worst category if they get Covid-19, and they are in a state in the northwest that has already had some deaths from this virus.

So, I've had to come to terms with that possibility that my only two family members could disappear if they get this virus. I haven't seen them in a couple years, and can't afford to go visit right now.

Is what it is.

Well it is a respiratory infection. I see it being more dangerous to smokers. Ah at the end of the sag if’s the modern Black Plague. It’s gonna run it’s course and disappear after killing a bunch of people. No different than what happened with the Black Plague. They didn’t have cures for that. Ran it’s course. Killed its people. And then it ended. It’s the worlds way of saying we are over populating.

Well statistically, the corona virus is nowhere near as dangerous or life threatening as the common household influenza virus, especially if you're comparing DEATHS.

We will all be exposed at some point over time. The USA is doing very little to control the outbreak within its borders. They just want the news cycle numbers to remain low.

@Stu - I did do an early grocery store run last week but this week started off hording weed too. Couldn't come up with a good reason not too :cool:

Don't buy masks, they are needed for doctors and medical staff. A friend of mine who is working at a hospital told me that they ran out of masks because they are wasted elsewhere. She has to wear one mask for an entire shift now.

Well there arent any to buy since day one . But i have a supply cause i also live in city that has one of the worst air qualities in the world. I dont know if you monitor EU news,but there are giga scandals with illegal garbage import that gets burned in our Coal Electric Plants which dont even have proper filters. Sadly even going to shop or for a walk requires a fine particles mask,otherwise you are in for black dust meal.Also there is import of second hand clothing from all over the world,and what cannot used is sold to the poor people in sacks of 50 kg for 5 euro and they burn this in their primitive fireplaces(cannot find the right world atm)
Man i can even begin to explain you the situation here,but it is like a third world country shit... German healthcare feels like spaceage compared to the middle age services you get here. Salaries here are to a maximum of 1000-1200 euro a month for specialist and they all run to work in your country,nurses are on strike and are threathing to jump out of windows,because they get paid only 300 euro and 0.12 euro bonus for every hour in the night... We are the worst prepared country in the EU for sure,there wasnt any type of such equipment available beforehand,let alone in middle of the crysis... the healthcare system is crumbling by the day for the last decade,not that it ever was a great one to begin with.

Thank you for your concern but i have done my homework. It is pretty visible what happens if i dont wear them and what get caught in the filter... There a lot of cleaner places in the country i could move to but they are economically deficient.(200 euro montly salaries make it almost non survivable around there)
I have those for FFP3 that catches ,PPM2.5 particles,,also has carbon ,they are good for viruses,aerols , guys that paint with sprays wear similar.

Pretty sure I was exposed today. And I’m going nuts.

In court today a lady said she didn’t show any symptoms. But that her daughter at home has flu like symptoms and a fever. The lady then later adds that she has been in direct contact with friends that have come back from Korea recently. She did not mention if the friends had symptoms.
