I vacuum! So theres no need for a vac?
I need help. I want to start making some concentrates (small batches for personal use). My friend grows and is very generous to me. I see these extractors with glass tubes, filters, etc. I'm not sure if I want to use butane? I will be doing everything outdoors. I'm a responsible adult but am cautious about flammables. Are there any threads or advice you can give me. Like everyone else, I would love to make some good shatter.
Butane, everclear, alcohol? What are differences and benefits? If you don't want to type because it has been asked a million times, please let me know what thread I can read thru. I tried looking thru different threads.
I've used 97% ISOThere is already a wealth of info on here read back and use the thread specific search. They are all pretty different in their own respects. Look for QWET/QWKX QWISO and BHO
I did 2 runs yesterday. 12.6g of Sour Purple Diesel yielded 4.1g=32.5%. 8.8g of Lemon Diesel yielded 1.9g= 21.6%. This stuff is so potent! It seems like every time I do a dab I end up comatose.
Yes one run each. I have kept all of my one-run flowers but I'm not sure there is anything left in there.Damn bro ur always killin it on the returns, nice job! Are those one run each?
I am sure you have mentioned it before but what technique are you using? Is this BHO or QWISO/QWET?I did 2 runs yesterday. 12.6g of Sour Purple Diesel yielded 4.1g=32.5%. 8.8g of Lemon Diesel yielded 1.9g= 21.6%. This stuff is so potent! It seems like every time I do a dab I end up comatose.
I do BHO extraction. I try to use excellent starting material. I use a 25 micron filter on my tube with several coarser screens inside. I freeze everything. Frozen butane allows for a slower extraction. Not so much a blast, more of a wash.I am sure you have mentioned it before but what technique are you using? Is this BHO or QWISO/QWET?
I would love to be able to get the returns you do. I process quality buds and get between 10-15% return which I am quite pleased with until I see your returns and the beautiful colour of your your results!
Any secrets you can let us in on?
Cheers
Rishi
It most likely means there is chlorophyll in the extraction. Maybe from extended soak times. What does it mean, if you have an alcohol extracted oil, very sticky, looks dark when in container, but is a light green when spread thin?

Some prefer a bit in there. It may leave some residue on a nail or atty. no negative effects that I know of.It's strong and tasty, but does having chlorophyll in it have any negative effects? Or is it just that it could be better?
If its an alcohol extraction then it says to me that your material has been exposed to the alcohol for too long or the materials were not cold enough. What does it mean, if you have an alcohol extracted oil, very sticky, looks dark when in container, but is a light green when spread thin?
