So seriously, what am I missing here? I've recently compared very good hash rosin and bubble hash ("full melt" or whatever the kids call it) vs flower rosin, and here's my semi-educated at best opinion: flower rosin (low THC or CBD comparatively) is dirty as hell but tastes great and gives me great effects; high-THC hash rosin reminds me of distillates... it's just too clean or something...
Are you sure it was very good hash?
Personally I can't imagine flower rosin being better than great full melt.
Full melt is the only true full spectrum dabbable out there. It's nothing like diamonds which are fractionated, as full melt is unheated in tact trichome heads, with every compound still in their natural ratios. IMO full melt has a bordering psychedelic aspect to it. For me it doesn't get any better, it's like dabbing flower. All the best parts of flower and concentrates in one.
Hash rosin is great too, but in some ways it's even more ambiguous than flower rosin as hash can really be any grade. And the rosin is only as good as the starting material. Flower rosin is cool as it's fast and easy, but for me the dirtiness has a real affect on the flavor, I just feel like I can taste the gunk with these high fidelity dabbing apparatuses.
Also everything tasting like lemons is a BHO thing from CRC filtering, it's pretty awful. I feel like BHO has gone way down hill, used to get some great butane extracts in the medical era but now with recreational the market seems to have tanked to the lowest common denominator.
