Gear Concentrate accessory questions (Ti, SS, Nails, Dabbers)

I just blew there site up with comments. I mean face it the design is genius. I love all my H.E. T.I but that docent mean i don't like others. i found ti nails on ebay for 22 bucks and free shipping, so i had to order one just to see. I love it !! It works great, fits great, balanced correctly with counter w8. They look exactly like the highly educated v2 and v3s. I was surprised at the quality, it gives excellent taste also.

Visiting the DYD site, I don't see any pricing or buy/order tabs, and only broken cart/etc tabs..... is it just me ?

From what I can gather, the website is a work in progress, to get the product info out there...they are selling product, but not through the site yet. I believe they are on BM (boro market).

sweet ill check out boro, and i sent them a couple emails so ill get any info i revive back to you, i asked about pricing and how to get one. and the thick base to the cup with walls that get thinner as they aproach the top, just makes to much sense when it comes to function.

looking at ~$60 from DYD for a nail. Pricey yeah, but they seem to be worth it. And SD, I'm pretty sure he was referring to no name/no brand nails

a LHS is selling Ti "nails" that look to be cut from a flat sheet then twisted and folded.
the girl there put one in a rig so i could see how it sat.
is sat very centered in the globe, but looked kind of cheep so i didn't buy one.

Certainly is interesting Sticky...I can say I've never seen anything like that before. I probably would have followed suit and skipped on them if I saw them at my LHS, unless they were as cheep as glass nails or less.

they also had a new birdhouse design. instead of looking like a tongue in front of an open mouth, its more like a long hanging hollow nose in front of the open mouth, no tongue.

Hmm, that's not all that bad, assuming they work well, and hold up to continued use. My LHS doesn't have an amazing selection of concentrate accessories, but it's got the bases covered. Wish we had more innovative stuff here like that though! lol

no deff not but im pretty positive there only 50 and right now they only have 18 the 14s will be ready in a few weeks. the owner and i were emailing this morning and i tell ya they seem like a great company !!!!

I'm curious if anyone has any experience with birdhouse style domes?
I just picked one up on BM

I've haven't done dabs yet, this is my first oil tool (excluding my omicron )

do you use it with a nail or heat up that glass lip? if its the lip i see a little vapor being wasted

You heat the glass lip.
A few of the reviews of a different artists birdhouse domes were very glowing, so I've got high hopes for the design.

my friend has a birdhouse dome that looks like Kenny from South Park.

i never find it to hit that well. a lot of oil runs down the inside.

Godd DIY tip for all of us if you have an empty vial: do a whole in the cap, the size of your favorite dabber, put a little iso in there, and you've got a super dabber holder & cleaner all in one:

My glass nail just got a hairline fracture so I guess its time to upgrade to TI.
I'm not a big ebay fan but I found a neat adjustable nail shipping out of L.A.

$30 free shipping and says its grade 2 TI (and 107 sold 99.9% positive seller)
Can anyone come up for a reason not to order this sucker? Want to keep the price under 45.

and i own all the HE products. I got my eye on that dyd nail though, because that thing just looks correct. But i picked up the new omicron v2 and it has changed the whole game for me,

Looks like its thin walls lets it heat up pretty quick, but you dont find the cup too big?

Like, if that was your only nail, is it kind of annoying to use for a small dab?

While I wait to get my DYD nail (decided to get one, now I'm waiting to pay/order) I've been surfing eBay (listed my iPad for sale) and looking at titanium goodies. I have stumbled upon a couple of things that I might just pick up...

First, I'm going to throw a bid at this interesting knock off of a HE nail. It's called a "2012 EDUCATED V3 TITANIUM NAIL DOUBLE JOINTED ADJUSTABLE 14mm & 18mm VAPORIZER" I won't spend much on it, if it get's above 20-30 I'll probably bail.

Second, this dome-less nail looks interesting as well.

Third, I may cave and get this if the knock off HE gets too pricey.

If I end up getting my email for the DYD nail soon then that's all I'm getting. If I get any of the above mentioned items, I'll post a review/pics, etc.
