Cheap High Quality Bubbler

Lo and Behold! The transformative power of Vapor.
@SSVUN~YAH. DHgate is on vacation and I'm on a rigid budget at the moment. But I will get things in motion at some point.
A 1/4 turn works in many cases, if you don't wiggle the connection too much. I use silicone tube strips for some grippage with unconventional setups. Understood what you ment by the 1/4 turn and your Claisen. But also another random point. That Claisen with that bend would minimize restriction.

I have come up with ways to connect my portables to an 18mm adapter with some silicone magic. Any of those could be fashioned to work well on the bottom adapter. If I say get tired of playing with the cap joints. Might place something inside the cap joints to make the inside volume a little smaller. a more direct vapor path, etc.

I really like that the perc is actually part of the base. that being the problem that caused my last one to break down.:rip: The top is female, so no awkward things to break off during all that inserting. Perfect for portable vapes that can be used upside down. 18mm pathway to the base. I even noticed the fitting is recessed a little.
Love at first sight. I tell ya. Please tell me more thoughts on this model, since DHgate is on vacation anyway. Would buying two of these allow all the combinations that I am imagining?:science: Any others that might fit my criteria?

So I think I was the first person to buy Kathy's newest Fab Beaker, and I'm pretty ok with what showed up at my door today.

The perc looks kind of shitty but works fine. Some of the slits are unevenly spaced(see above) and some of the slits are chipped/scratched, but that's China glass for you. I have a Straight fab from Steven coming in tomorrow or the next day so looking forward to that also. Overall pretty satisfied.

damn id love to see a water test of that if you could! hows the draw?

im eyeing this, the straight fab from steven, and the little elvis klein from glassartist

I can try to get a vid up tomorrow, it looks a lot like the action on the video posted by Yang Lan on Youtube, just with a smaller piece. Draw is fairly smooth, I wish the perc in mine was a bit lower(it's a few mm higher than shown in the display photos)but it's not too bad at all. I use an enail with it so I'm never hitting it hard enough to get water in my mouth but if you really slam it you'll get a drink for sure. One negative I have just from handling it for a few dabs is that the base of the beaker feels absolutely paper thin. I've never broken any of my glass but this thing just feels very fragile around the bottom. My straight fab should be here tomorrow or the day after so I can see which one I like more for dabbing.

You've hit on most points, I will have to try the silicone strips. I also pondered a plug of sorts to reduce the longer vapor path. The base is very thick, about as thick as the UFO base. The recessed fitting is perfect with my reducer as well as my 18mm attachments.
@SSVUN~YAH i hear ya, but the idea of starting a pm conversation with every person I would like a link from isn't really appealing. If that's the policy, I'm not going to complain anymore, but it's important they know what users think also.

The dual vape setup rocks btw.
I see your point and thanks!

14mm Straight Fab from Steven came in today. The one I got is pretty good, the slits on the perc are fairly evenly spaced and sized and the glass feels very solid and thick. Definitely a bit smaller than I expected which is good since I'll be using it for dabs primarily. The Fab holes are a little wonky and the center Fab section isn't perfectly cylindrical but it doesn't affect function which is all that really matters. Here's a pic next to Kathy's Fab beaker.

Also put up a couple vids of the function on Kathy's Fab beaker.

new ftk real worldt test. no water, mo water, take your pick... sry vapers, had to combust because my banger broke. Luckily I already ordered from hyman! hope this clears up any fc-ftk confusion.

I heard back from steven re the crack...they are going to replace it.

I just noticed that the video on the end seems to function better with more water in my opinion

really chuggy though. I showed it to a friend who is a flower expert but glass noob who LOVED it. He instantly asked me to buy him one.
steven seems to be cool enough. They get back to me quickly. They offered a replacement (it doesnt hold water) They told me that the pipe went through QC 3 times, which explains why it was wet.

There isnt any vortex though. occasionally it will vortex after the hit. I think i am going to buy a 710 and beg steven to DHL it all.

is there any chance that the FC-RattleCan will not perform as well as the FC-710? FCRattleCan is much more handsome.
Thanks

thanks for the review(s) @CameraNerd! Not sure if this dampened my enthusiasm for my seller2020 iteration of the FTK or not (which i got a shipping notice for yesterday) should be an interesting piece either way, but i definitely would hope to have some vortex action. I definitely plan to test the heck out of it and report back my results

I received two Rattle Cans about a week ago, and have been using them daily. They are both constructed well- thick glass, built straight, with clean welds. They have a good style of mouthpiece and the shape is great for holding in hand.

The check-ball rattles a bit in use, as it should, and the percs work great in both examples I have. There's no issue with splashing, as some were concerned about.

The two Rattle Cans have currently displaced my lavender ccg egg as my go-to rig.
