China just posted ads for pieces using Hitman's pics from Chalice. We haven't seen any of the China-made examples yet. Same thing happened with the Torus, a lot of sellers were using MS's images.

Seems doubtful that hitman is using Chinese blowers. Risks potentially losing his whole customer base if it was discovered. Just seems like China is paying close attention to a few USA glass companies, one of which is hitman

Exactly. Like Mothership too, and now Mobius. I'm fine with them copying Hitman. Hitmans glass seems basic for the price point, and also thin. It's built very well though, the joints are perfect on every one i've seen. My bud has a double barrel i've used and I looked a shit ton of them over in my LHS. It's a little funny how mad they specifically get about chinese copies over any other company though. Maybe the chinese think it's funny too. There shouldn't be a reason to get mad if your glass is good enough, it should support it's own name. but the chinese glass is almost just as good. It's just that hitmans glass is pretty simple to make, so china can copy it easily.
I do believe diamond glass, grav labs, and a few others are just china glass with a label thrown on it. I thought that before I knew of dhgate even, and after finding dhgate it solidified those beliefs.
What's really funny, I know the guy who makes percs for Hitman - he's a local blower. Hitman outsources the percs to him. Funny thing is - this local blower sucks. He can't make an ashcatcher to save his life (yes, every AC from DHgate I have is better than what I got from him when I paid 2x as much). I have no clue how he landed that job making percs for hitman

But the real problem lies with the return. It looks like it is set up to recycle the water down the middle like on an incycler, but the return tube doesn't go all the way through the perc so I'm gonna say it's a fail.
It also looks pretty small and the base is pretty narrow. So definitely not compatable with an e-nail or heavy vape.

No issues with anything, packed really well. There is initial drag/delay if the water is high, but then it starts purring. If you lower the water, there is less/no delay. It does have a bit more drag than expected throughout the pull![:\](/i/s/hmm.gif "Hmm :\")
. It works fine if you are ready for it, but the interior honeycombs and showerheads are probably better.
Surprisingly you don't have to worry about keeping it level, the water slowly creeps up into the "interior" increasing the diffusion throughout the hit.
It's not a disappointment and will definitely get put into rotation. but the search for something else continues...preferably dragless

If you are looking for dragless, I would stay away from frits and honeycombs. Your best bet would probably be a nice showerhead perc of some kind

I cant think of a design where the tumor perc could be removable...
I've thought about it before, and short of the devastator design of base unit + ash catchers/hydratubes, I cant think of how you could have multiple removable percs...
There was that weed star design that was basically a straight tube with a drop in perc, but that looked pretty meh to me when I saw it a few years back...

Nah, just an inline (one female, 1 male, so you could swap out the middle part or remove it completely), like this sort of thing would be fine, cause you could soak it in a bowl of your preferred cleaner, or shake it in a baggie for deep cleansing. Like an assassin, but cheap and simple. Fully modular 3 part bubbler.
I'm not really bitching about the d022, it would just be even better if...

So you want a design where it's basically the D022, but without the little tumor perc, instead switching that perc to being an ash catcher?
That's basically describing the devastator then, which I have been working on a design with Steven.

Man Steven is basically the worst vendor with regards to shipping in my experience. Ordered a 3mm male banger from hyman Quartz to go with my fc-donut as all the bangers I have currently are female and thinner. The banger was ordered a week after the donut and it just arrived in Canada while the donut finally left China today.
Just saying that costing more and having slower shipping definitely doesn't entice me to order from Steven too much.

@Frederick McGuire I knew what I was getting into, but I don't necessarily have to like it. I am totally down for Chinese glass taking a while, but ordering from other vendors (CCG, lillixia/cngmen, hymanquartz) I've noticed that for most of them shipping promptly doesn't seem to be a problem. Might be that I have shifted from vapes mostly to concentrate that I don't find a ton of what Steven has on offer that enticing (though the devestator clone could get me to order again), don't get me wrong I love my fc710 and am looking forward to the donut.
@twentypast4 don't think anyone can comment on the donut yet. If I had to guess it may have better flavor but be harsher than the fc710. Might not be the case though as the 710 pretty much has the best flavor of any rig I have used. The 710 is basically my go to rig so you definitely won't be disappointed with it.

I had a 45 degree, removable matrix perc downstem, with a j hook for the mouthpiece. If you just have to have that 2nd perc you could add a 90 degree ash catcher to it. Is this an idea you were looking for or no?

I bought it strictly for use with concentrates.
The FC-710 arrived in one piece today!
It is everything I have come to expect from a steven piece. It is symmetrical , very well made , no weird scratches or blemishes in the glass , in fact , it far exceed any expectations I had. I will say it is thinner than other steven pieces I have gotten but it is a lot smaller than all the other ones as well. if you ever held a toro it feels like the same thickness and comparable build quality.
In regard to function , all I can say is WOW! This piece truly is a must own if you are into concentrates. I thought I would have a hard time liking it since I always favored dragless percs with lots of diffusion such as the matrix , showerhead , etc... but I can definitely see this one being my daily driver. I also noticed that smaller dabs seem to have more affect than from other pieces or so it seems. I had to take a nap after my first session cause it felt liek i got hit by a freight train.
If you are into concentrates and dont own this peice yet do yourself a favor and order it right now, you will not regret it.The two areas where the FC-710 really shines and tops most other rigs is in the smoothness and flavor department. I have to say this thing packs a big punch in a little packages. A couple friends that usually cough even commented on how smooth it was and the fact that it didnt make them cough.
Thank you to everyone who bought this piece and posted about it , I wouldnt have bought it without your recommendations!
