I was excited and foolishly purchased without seeing a video. The piece arrived today and it sucks! The return tube from the vortex chamber isn't solid as it goes through the perc so air just goes straight up and water enters the mouth piece.

I'm annoyed at myself for making a impulse buy and I feel a little tricked by yingmin. Whether it was his intention to trick me I'm not sure, he may have genuinely been trying to help me out. I've messaged him to say that it doesn't function properly but I doubt he will refund any money.

I'll still buy other things from him because he is a good seller but want to warn everyone else to stay away from this one.

Now I just need to save some money to get the D-Cycler (the piece I should have just bought in the first place)

Edit: After some back and forth with yingmin I can tell he wasn't being deceiving and he really was being a nice guy. He was unaware that it didn't function correctly. Fantastic communication is another reason I will buy from him again.

I fill my one to just under the top glass brace bellow the male joint if you get me.The water is just under the glass brace bit and it works well, no water in the mouth.

I'm using this with my enail and had a few good sessions. No water in mouth and can watch the action (brings out the kid in me).

Just got home to find grenade perc delivered. There was like no damage to the box which is unusual for me. The piece was wrapped nicely in foam paper instead of the standard bubble wrap. Then around the foam paper there was a type of bubble wrap I have never seen before. Looks like those popsicles that come in the plastic sleeve with no stick, just full of air instead. Much higher psi than standard bubble wrap and seems very protective.

This thing looks clean! Thick glass and well constructed. Flame polished perc and all. I am eager to try it and will report back about function shortly. If it takes me a little while to get back on here then that is a good sign

Yeah I just got that one in the other day.

Quality is top notch and I love the design. China blowers are getting really good.

The piece has some drag to it (hits like a 3-4 hole perc piece) but all in all I'm really happy with it.

And I just picked up the CCG egg :) Verigo Pillar recycler on its way too :tup:

Got both my orders in. CCG dcycler and a big Kathy order. The only problem I had was I orders 2 sets of 2 ceramic dabber/caps but only received one set of 2. Everything else was great. The china honey buckets are HUGE and retain heat forever

It is so pretty in appearance but the function is not good at all in my opinion. I thought that it was supposed to be similar to a fab egg but it is not at all. There is a lot of drag and not much flavor. The Kathy egg functions so much better than this turd. This is pretty much my least favorite DHgate rig.

I would compare its function closest to the barrel to funnel I received from Steven when he had that bad batch. I smashed it on the concrete outside to get a refund that piece. I would glady smash this stupid thing right now if I was offered my money back

I agree it's draggy, but I don't mind it.

Honestly it's more a looker for me, but I've had some fun using it the last few days.
It'll stay in my rotation.

I just wish they'd make one 2-3x bigger with an 18mm joint :lol:

Yeah, I'm going to agree with you on the grenade piece. Aesthetically pleasing, but that drag is crazy. I'm not sure if it's the perc or the turbine, but it's one of the harder pieces to pull on. It's not 'turn your face blue' hard, but forces a slow long draw regardless.

I have it on my enail now and I really like the joint position in comparison to the mouthpiece. Good view of the nail. The drag doesn't bother me as much on the enail, but overall I'm a little disappointed.....but only a little.

Ya me too, ordered over 3 weeks ago and it "shipped" after 12 days but the tracking number has yet to show anything after 9 days. So I kinda think I got a fake number, tempted to message for a refund and just get the CCG. I figured a decent looking cheap egg would show up eventually, but figured it would be after I got my kathy egg.

So not sure if you guys know this. But these will sit until there is a full load and that can take up to 3 weeks in some cases. Once they ship from China to US, they then need to be processed and then doled out to USPS or whoever you chose to deliver your new glass love baby. From the little bit of dhgate stuff I got so far, 90% gets here within 2 weeks. But the other 10% is somewhere between here and there and who the hell knows when it will appear and so the reason for the broad delivery times they offer.

I like some of the mini bubblers I've seen on dhgate, but many have 10mm male joints. I might consider pairing one with my Arizer Air, even though i just bought SS' s PNWT knockoff, because they're so damn cheap! Any good links to a cheap 10mm female to 14mm female adapter? I'm having trouble finding one.

Speaking of adapters,Thick Ass Glass is having an April sale.....adapters for 6 bucks,i have a few and they're pretty sturdy......i havent tried any of their other stuff but i might pick up one of their bangers on the cheap.....

Thanks for sharing, but IMO that function is really not that impressive. While drawing a good recycler should whirlpool. I am not saying I expect quality work but there is an excess of water retained while drawing and a sudden stronger pull would mean a drink :lol:

Same thing happened with my Kathy egg order. I got tracking with 1 or 2 days left of the time allowed on dhgate but then tracking didn't update for another 10 days. It finally updated today.

Yeah he didn't say "and no splash wata" :) I'm gonna agree that it looks like he could easily take a drink though you might be able to adjust the water level. It does seem pretty high in the puck+recycler. At this point it just looks like they are throwing pieces together. I spotted a oil can + vortex recycler, they need to slow down with the Frankenstein pieces. I'm pretty sure most of them wont function correctly anyways. I would imagine that would leave a bad taste in peoples mouth and they would be less inclined to buy in the future. IDK just my :2c:
