Got my Kathy Egg in today. All is well so far, hits really well, not sure if it hits like other eggs as this is my first, but it's nice and smooth and not much restriction.

It is however very tippy, needs a bigger base.

Would still recommend it for the price. It will be getting some serious use over the next few days.

We need to get some more eggs produced. Has anybody tried contacting the sellers about lowering their prices on their eggs. Some nice pieces here http://www.dhgate.com/wholesale/mothership.html

Just got this new marble coaster set and quickly realized it goes great with my bubblers 4" base and under as a stand. It also has a hole for a cork that fits 18mm like a glove! The marble cork fits my 187 perfect as well! Also works great as a stand with my Logs, extremely classy!

Haven't sourced the set yet, though a quick search revealed just the sweet base in black or green for a hair over $20!

Yeah she might have eventually shipped one, but I don't want DHgate to hold my $80 for months if I don't even know when it will be available again.

If you search "glass bong" on dhgate, then filter by price "highest price first". You may see the reason. There are a ton of eggs that look suspiciously like the kaite egg for MORE than $400. They see that price is possible and pull the listings with lower prices.

I have the YQ-42 from sunshine its a good piece ,thick glass ,the mouthpiece is a little wonky but not much.It bubbles well with the frit and cage,I use it with a sublimator dry and with water.

And just so I can contribute a bit to this thread I got this from Kathy a month or two ago, my first rig. Using it with a New-Vape domeless and my DIY E-Nail it works very well, is small, cheap and doesn't leak. I don't really have anything else to compare it to but as others and the reviews have mentioned this is definitely a solid little piece.

@fcdeady The honeycomb straight tube seems to be a pretty common design among DHGate. That one with the splashguard looks like it wouldn't splash too much. I don't know how set you are on the two pieces you've linked to but I can link you two more you may have interest in.

This piece, D020--2-W, is a honeycomb to turbine perc. Turbine acts as a perc and splashguard, on top of looking cool when ya clear it. The turbine pieces I have hit have all had the turbine about 1.5 cm above the other perc than ~5cm. On this piece it looks like more functional as splashguard than perc to me, but honeycombs can stack! Sold from Sunshine for $33.49.

Thanks! I stumbled upon GHG a few minutes ago actually. It's crazy all four of these sellers use the same exact pictures. I wonder if I order from GHG if it's just gonna be "out of stock" anyways but will give it a shot instead of those two randoms. I left this thread after I got my first rig so I wouldn't buy anymore but after a slight tip cracked the recycling tube a bit I'm on the hunt for a backup / upgrade

I would like to report that I just got my FC-187 V2 and this thing is thick glass and sexy as a hell!!!!
The glug is smooth as butter and dabs from it are excellent. I purchased this from tevenlmz79 on dhgate and would happily go back as the packing and shipping time was superb.

So, after asking yingmin a heap of times for a water test of the piece pictured below and not getting one because he was busy, he told me he only had a few in stock as samples and I could have one for just the price of postage.

I was excited and foolishly purchased without seeing a video. The piece arrived today and it sucks! The return tube from the vortex chamber isn't solid as it goes through the perc so air just goes straight up and water enters the mouth piece.

I'm annoyed at myself for making a impulse buy and I feel a little tricked by yingmin. Whether it was his intention to trick me I'm not sure, he may have genuinely been trying to help me out. I've messaged him to say that it doesn't function properly but I doubt he will refund any money.

I'll still buy other things from him because he is a good seller but want to warn everyone else to stay away from this piece.

Edit: After some back and forth with yingmin I can tell he wasn't being deceiving and he really was being a nice guy. He was unaware that it didn't function correctly. Fantastic communication is another reason I will buy from him again.
