The first one looks like it might be good. I feel like prices are going up this piece should only be $30ish IMO. Maybe you could get a few dollars off without the TI nail. Hard to tell if there will be any splash back. Water levels will have to be kept low.

The second one, the recycler, may have issues with bubbles coming up the return tube because the perc looks to low. I wished the manufactures would understand the perc needs to be above the return tube. Halfway up the can for safety would be perfect!

Yea, once the next 2 come in the mail I'll be sitting at 10 pieces acquired since Lev re-wet my GAS with the FC lattice awhile back (a bit over a year now?)...the wife is not impressed. LOL

I certainly don't buy every piece I post up about though...just in the habit of seeing what's new on DHG.

My signature is lacking a bit...might have to revamp it at some point...

I have the 187 but I find I use it less often because of the huge amount of blowback I get when I finish my draw.

I get blowback on ever piece i own - I use a claisen for everything, and have a custom order for a carb'd GonG stem from @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd

I keep the H2O to the low side of the perc's.
Blow Back otherwise.
I increase the end to a 18mm gong with a 18mm x 18mm female.
14mm x 18mm male for the transition.
This set up works very well.
SOLO = 4
NANO = 7

In terms of level of temperature with this setup!

As stated by @BoogerMan that recycler will not function correctly with the perc at that height. The perc must be above the return or the bubbles will travel up the return.

The price of that single barrel is a bit high but it does look like quality glass. That tight cleanly made triple donut mouthpiece is really nice and the perc slits appear to be flame polished.

About blow back:
I have used many many pieces and pretty much every one has blow back. I have tried many of the most popular pieces in this thread and it may be hard for some of you to believe but the all time best vape piece I have found is the igloo rig from Alina. It has a wide base and low center of gravity. It has tremendous flavor. It is compact yet not to small and sidecar mouthpiece keeps the vaporizer a reasonable distance from your face. And it has like zero blow back. The function of this one far exceeds the almost forty dollar price tag

what do y'all mean by blowback? is it when the vapor, try's to escape the from the bowl while trying to clear the vape, I guess with whip style vapes i don't notice this. but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Blowback is when you stop drawing and the water rushes back to its natural level. Usually "blowing back" a puff of air and ABV into your vape.

any one get the Kathy recylcer yet? Mine is in the big apple as we speak. I saw her newer models, gonna pass,save'n them bucks for a Distilled rig. Saw a 14 " version of one of the guys had him blow, massive vortex chamber, thick ,well done Distilled!! Gots to have me a real recycler that he builds, as one here posted, the imports that are recyclers are psuedo and defined more as a splash guard.I cant comment on it, never had a recycler nor any of the import versions either, I guess we shall see how this ratchett type recycler version works. Alritey then, if any members get em in the nxt few, let us know, and I wish I wasnt a nitwit and could eventually make a function vid

Finally received my glassware, it's my first china pieces and I must say I'm incredibly impressed. The YQ-42 is so thick, I don't think anybody would see it and say 'hey is that china glass' unless they frequent this forum lol

My tracking info was saying " package departed Hazelwood,MO this morning. Imagine my surprise when I came home to find it today. Ordered on 8/17.
The bubbler is very clean with no glaring defects.(other than that I ordered 18mm and got 14mm.). The perc has some drag until it gets going. The inverted shower head within a shower head provides a surprising amount of action for a small amount of water. I will post up some videos tomorrow.

This little Ash Catcher is actually a recycler! It could be a little off balance due to a lot of the weight on one side.

Perc looks good slits are flame polished. Both inlets to the can are good size.
