Cheap High Quality Bubbler

I don't really have any intention of buying any glass pieces with the male connection like the one for half the price has. I think a lot of people are feeling like that lately, which explains the significantly lower price.

I was actually going to buy the newer model (Rattle Can) from PopularGlass (stevenmlz79) but my research, including this Rattle Can vs FC-710 thread from r/chinaglass, made me reconsider and get the FC-710.

I'm not sure I agree with the stance but I could be out on a limb with my theory but ill start by saying that as long as you have the Pump all is well cause they're SO good.

So my thinking is I dont think the Perc being "much smaller" is equivocal to its actual filtration function other than maybe a harder draw resistance. As he suggested you should have anywhere from 1/2 to at max ~4/5th submerged than the function still works the same no matter the diameter or length. Like he said the percolation comes from "explosions" of vapor inbetween the bubbles so the same filtration would be there just coming with more force cause there would be more pressure (not sure if that's the right terminology) and create a higher spew of "explosion" after every bubble pushed out. I could be absolutely Batshit though.

Again, either way they both rock, it just depends if you more male joints than female joints that will be attached to it =)

Sometimes I tend to do too much research... over analyze things... This is manifested in my selection process between these two models lol. I am almost sure either will give me the same flavor I seek. :) In any case I am looking forward to comparing the flavor from the FC-710 to my other bongs especially against my favorite right now which is the straight fab.

I love clear glass. Back in the mid-90s I lived in SoCal and had some friends with great connections and fantastic scientific glass water pipes. Thanks to you enablers, since discovering FC I've acquired the following:

Stevenlmz79: FC-187, PG5105 (8" incycler), and PG5052 (hydratube w/Matrix perc), and just ordered another hydratube (PG5129 swiss w/tree-perc )

Sunshinestore: D020, a 14mm matrix-perc ashcatcher, a 14mm tree-perc ashcatcher, a bunch of inexpensive j-hooks

CCG: Exosphere

It's fun having variety in your sessions. I would rank the 8" incycler as being the most flavorful. The PG5052 was my first hydratube and I love using it (which is why the PG5129 is en route) - was a little worried about splashback with PG5052 but you really have to make the EVO whistle for that to happen. I used the matrix ashcatcher with a j-hook yesterday for a sesh in the park with a friend, his Grasshopper and my OmniVong (Bruce Banner came along as did Lemon Haze). The D020 came with a 14F-to-18M adapter so I sometimes use the OmniVong on the FC-187 as it's fun to fill up the larger chamber and then clear it!

I'd own more CCG except their prices went up and I don't do colored glass.

My Vapes: Dynavap x3, EVO, Solo II

Hello @ataxian!

I'm from the Midwest originally and eventually ended up back here. Less crowded, friendly people (except in some of the midwest cities - I've lived in a few of those too), lower cost of living, way easier speed of life. Still have to deal with prohibition though but I have a good friend who has some very good connections. I'm thankful that it's getting better in this country that I don't have to try and get medicine from criminal types who are selling god-knows-what-else and could be involved with gangs/the mob/whatever. Because of prohibition I have to keep my meds on the down-low even from my wife because she would worry needlessly about me getting busted. I quit tobacco over 20 years ago with help from cannabis but started to hate how my lungs felt from smoking it, even with water filtering. Vaping has solved those problems for me - no nasty tar, and way more discrete for medicating!

I live in a rural area and thanks to Amazon and the internet, rural living doesn't mean what it used to. I work for a communication company and have GB fiber at home in a small (>10K) community. Neighboring cities are 30-60 miles away but my town has a decent selection of restaurants. As a father and cook for tweens we tend to eat at home more often than not!

Years ago I went to a college that is immediately next to Lake Michigan. I used to be able to sleep in the dorm with my window open and could hear the waves rolling in. Loved it! I can totally understand why you love where you live! Still not worth it to me to live in congested CA though - at least not while still raising kids!

Lastly gotta say as an aside, edibles are not for me. I prefer my effects up front, not 2 hours later. I've had some minor panic attacks with edibles before I realized why I felt the way I did - at least with vaping I can quit and not have the effects escalate substantially from when I stopped. Vape on!

Peace brother! :peace: :spliff:

Let me speak my local slang?
When I grew up CALIFORNIA it was very dreamy!
405 freeway was a two lane hwy?
Nixon’s estate was on the beach in SAN CLEMENTE called: COTTON’s point (left break)
Just to the left from his house the break was called TRESSLES = LOWERS & UPPERS (very decent surf)

After HIGH SCHOOL 20 minutes south of my beach home!

BIG YELLOW TAXI by JONI MITCHELL sang about this time.

We grew CANNABIS even though it was not acceptable for some!
Glad you are here at this site to experience the revolution of CIVILIZATION IMPROVEMENTS
PEOPLE are a little guarded here, however my friends & family are nice decent people?
Add: my boy’s grew up in a CALIFORNIA SURF CITY TOWN and turned out fine?
My daughter is so amazing?
It’s what you make it I guess?
I travel in EUROPE, SOUTH PACIFIC, SOUTH-CENTRAL-NORTH AMERICA, CARABEAN as well as lived?

HOME is where your heart is?

Going to CALIFORNIA by LED ZEPPELIN (Jimmy PAIGE) sang about it in surf films of the ERA!

It's been a few years since I used glass- most of it broke in a move. I used to have a DO20. I've tried reading back through these pages but can someone recommend some inexpensive glass for a vape using a box mod (iheat, splinter) 18mm and 12" or shorter?

I think you might like the fc-ufo. It allows you to use either a mouthpiece or a whip to draw, and I don’t think it will give you too much draw restriction, I find it pretty open. It is nice and stable, so I think it is great for using with vapes like the splinter or Tubo.

I use different vapes to fit my disease as well.

I love recreational to da max!
However not as privileged as others!

Da UFO from FC I use with desktop vaporizer’s.
Their so cheap!
2 have one in your collection is a must! (POV)
