Cheap High Quality Bubbler

@ataxian I dab more than most too! I know you have an Evo, if you can stop breaking your nails those are decent to dab out of BUT if you want something less fragile with the BEST flavor and efficiency for dabs you should consider an E-nail with a Titanium nail with SiC insert. The Liger I have makes dabbing so enjoyable! I can't stand the taste of anything besides Quartz, SiC, and Sapphire anymore. You should try one!

With these you have an indestructible Titanium banger (a Must have for your robot fingers!) with a SiC insert that is also extremely durable and has so much better flavor than Ti. You can get a quartz insert too and it also tastes great but a lot less indestructible although It is really hard to break anything CCA makes! it's all super thick and durable.

Oh my, so I finally got the glass artist little bong like yours. Filled it up, and HOLY SHIT IT'S QUIET. Like a whisper.

Who just took a dab?

Shhhh

Amazing.

Only problem is the joint is high up, I have to get a male thing for the quartz halo... Or maybe a liger? :D

@flotntoke Okay sweet man I really appreciate it! You definitely cleared some things up for me.
Regarding the dabs, I have a 19 mm male quartz banger with carbcap so that shouldn't be a problem right?
And that glass artist piece you talking about looks pretty damn nice to :brow:.
Where can I find that piece on dhgate brother? And is it possible to get an artist piece of the Mobius Matrix sidecar? That would be awesome lol
Thanks man cheers!

So to go off what flotntoke said, it's about how you want to smoke. That is the most important thing.

So a sidecar is useful if you want to see smoke build up in the bubbler. This is something I personally like, even if I don't use it as a visual indicator while smoking.

Next, I prefer smaller pieces now. Why? FAR easier to clear which means a more pleasurable smoking experience.

I refuse to get a straight up and down piece because I watch TV while I smoke.

So the most important part for me is a downstem that is curved so I can look straight ahead while smoking.

Seeing my piece isn't a big deal if it means I can get a recycler style piece like the Taurus clones.

My current daily smoker is the "cake" clones. But since mine is thin glass (imo) and steven charges similar I'd get the mobius sidecar.

Although StevenLMZ has a 1 day sale going, and the Atom Matrix piece is included in this one day sale. Despite the fact that I like the sidecar design visually (I mean my cake piece is like that), that atom matrix on sale is what I'd look as well. I just like the design and the mouthpiece. easier for people to use who haven't used the piece before. The mouthpiece on the sidecar actually sucks to use but I've figured out an amazing way to hit it (IMO), that every person I've seen use my piece pulls better hits like that.

About thickness:) I cannot find anything about the thickness of pieces on aqualabs or for that matter on dhgate. Maybe it is my old eyes. Could you direct me to that stat on some pieces?

I don't think many people list their thickness so it's hard to judge. I just know that my piece from Kathy was very thin at the mouth piece.

I'm just confused as to why they'd even use thin glass in the first place? By using thick glass it wouldn't cost them much extra, but they'd be assured repeat customers.

With Aqualabs, they sell pieces that are, according to the manufacturer site, not sold online, which makes me vary wary of their site.

I might try that fab piece next that was just posted above. That's tiny and looks quite thick.

glassartist is just another seller on DHGate. His store is here.

You should be fine with a banger if you have a 19mm M-M. It will just sit up on top. I like bangers with a little more stem to the bucket. Less mess in the can.

To answer your question nah, I haven't tried either piece before. In fact, whatever piece I get will be my first.

I was wondering about taking dabs with a piece where the joint was in the center. I figure a male to male adapter with a drop down on top would work and keep the piece cleaner.

I know of a few of you were asking about a new hydratube , well its made and finished , I cant tell you how it works just yet but here is the link and a function video - http://www.dhgate.com/product/2016-new-vapexhale-hydratube-9-8-inches-glass/385487849.html

Looks like the Yingmin version has 4 Honeycombs and the Sunshine store has 3. I was going to buy one but I wonder which hits better? The HUGE first slit in the inline on the sunshine store version looks like crap but I'm sure they will both have quality issues like that. I may go for the extra comb since I already have a VXH turbine for low diffusion and Hydrobomb for low drag.

Always wanted a banger hanger. I'm a fan of some chug. Do you think it can handle the weight of a dropdown and liger?

Those look awful. If the function is comparable to the difference between a Mobius piece and the fakes, I'm glad I have one of the originals.

Good glass vs Chinese glass... you can see the difference.

DHgate pieces often remind me of an infamous old mansion in Detroit, nicknamed "Slumpy."

@ataxian @abcd5432 What mouthpiece are you guys talking about when it comes to the Mobius Matrix sidecar v2? I don't really like the flared mouthpiece so is there something better in terms of mouthpiece ? Thanks man
A large canned ash collector and attach a JHOOK will be a new trend.

Shipping a MOUTH-PIECE?

The new wave of CANNABIS consumers like smaller mouth-pieces.

Bong like mouth-piece's are gross for some.
Flared is lame as well.

My option only!

Möbius isn't the best brand name to bring into this discussion, honestly, read the thread for their glass and you'll see a shocking amount of misaligned mouthpieces for high end scientific glass. Their matrix perc is more intricate, but for 300$ish dollars it's a bit ridiculous. A company named Sky glass has some great big-can bubblers for much better prices. I mean, unless you're addicted to maximal diffusion then the functional distinction between a GB187 and a Möbius is fairly minimal. You're mostly paying for the quality control. But you can literally buy 9 of the former bubbler, and do your own quality control, not to mention you could break 5 of them for fun and still have a lot more glass. Props for supporting American glass but talking shit about Chinese glass kind of misses the point and hurts the American industry we are supposedly supporting. Sorry if I sound frustrated. I am all for spending money that goes to Americans, but sometimes people around here talk like buying American glass is tantamount to positive political activism, while each Chinese bubbler purchased is a stab in the heart of the American economy. A much larger problem IMO is the vast, drug dealer-driven inflation of the upper end glass market. Hang around that crowd for awhile, at least in LA, and you'll get a sense of what I mean...money laundering, cross-country shipments of concentrates and gang connections are all part of the picture.

@ataxian what is your absolute favorite china glass piece for the lotus?
I have a odd style of vaporizing!

I do what works for my situation.

The LOTUS and CONCENTRATES I like a bigger can.
For portables a BUBBLER.

The LOTUS I use a FC186 usually.
The mouth piece is too big for me so I modify it.

This small one works.
I use the @DDave kit to modify my FC186

@flotntoke Had a pretty sweet suggestion for a nice glass can piece from glassartist on dhgate. I may decide to go with that one over the Mobius Matrix sidecar (the Chinese one), it's like 35$ more but it looks like it would be worth it. Hmmm decisions decisions

I actually meant to post that in the Cloud Evo thread, which had pretty much the same posts about the fake Symbiartic. (I believe that's not the best place for the love of the fakes, as Stonemonkey55 has already expressed.) That's what I get for posting after only one cup of coffee! LOL

I have a few pieces of Chinese glass & wouldn't normally knock it in a thread all about it. I understand about price. I do however hate when a design is blatantly copied. Often, however these copies are like ordering Idris Elba & getting Forrest Whittaker. (The worst is when the pics on DHgate aren't even of their copies.)

As for the function... Since getting that real Mobius, the fake is purely for company. The real one gives me the best hit out of all my glass. The fake was just average. (But at 10% of the price.)

My overall suggestion would be to have a few Chinese pieces & save up for a really good piece, rather than buying 50 Chinese pieces because they're cheaper. :)

If stonemonkey got his glass blower to make his ht's correctly I prob would have not posted it there but they have been so off with there tubes lately that we need other options and not many have stepped up to the plate so it is really 1 of the only options I see beside gravlabs .

I have both CALIFORNIA custom (labor is pretty cheap here)
My CHINESE pieces at least work fine.

You only need a few.
If your a collector that's your business.
I bought a ROLEX knock off once and put $100's of $ in it until the horses came home.
A real ROLEX is way better. I have a real one however my IPHONE is used the most!

Moving part's no copies!
Don't buy knock off vaporizers overseas . (they cut corners and don't have QA or the same standards as WESTERN CIVILIZATION!)

Glass a few is OK!
I break so much I go through a few!

Less than $40 FC186

FC-187 is a great piece. I have 2 (dropped one, glued back together). One is for dabs and the other for my underdog.
It's a great little sidecar with good function (I wouldn't say game changing but it works and I don't have much to compare it to)

I would say for the price, if you can swing it, get one. It's under $40, you can semi watch the smoke/vapor as you hit it, it seems light on the diffusion side (pro/con, depends on use.
