Cheap High Quality Bubbler

I did already, didn't find much other than cfab. I guess I can't order a decent banger from dhgate.
Any thoughts about the best D020 bubbler for my Extreme Q? And is that the best place to order from if I live in Canada?

UFO V2 received and given away as a gift. When I tried it out it was more open than the other two pieces I have for sure, no resistance hardly at all. the da vinci on there adds just enough to keep pressure in check. thanks for the recommendation, will be getting one for myself soon tooooooo.......

My glassartist piece came this week. Can't link because it has a label, but pics below. Excuse the dirty piece and crappy logo removal. Was in a hurry and wanted to post a pic for all to see.

Has a true reti matrix, though think the size of the outer cage is larger than originals. Quality of welds is great, and perc alignment is pretty good. Solid glass for coming from China. glassartist stuff is a bit pricier than most on DHGate, and some questions if it is worth it. IMO, YES! definitely worth it. Glass is a bit thicker, and workmanship seems better than my other Chinese stuff.

This one is a bit bubbly for what I usually like, but have been loving it. I did expect more diffusion because of the perc and it is there. Hits great and is super smooth, low draw, from start to finish. Surprising because it takes a lot of water. I prefer a solid "plate" style base, and was worried about the mushroom style base of this one. Not as stable as the other type would be, but surprisingly good. It is nice and flat on the bottom so no real problems.

The area inside the blue circle is where I removed the label in photoshop, so looks a little wonky. Real removal will be soon!

Dude, there are tons of bangers here and on DHGate! Also, many posts about D020 and best places to buy. @SSVUN~YAH was being kind telling you the same. Look around!

Just beware if you end up dealing with them over a dispute. Better to go through DHGate CS first and follow thier delicate process, rather than trust the word of this store owner through email. I got screwed using the latter method, which is a shame because they have some very nice designs and I'd like to buy more. But now I'll never do business with them again.

How did you get screwed? im in the middle of a dispute with this seller.

Yea i see what your saying lol, So I'm seeing Hyman to be the best bangers for cheap on dhgate? The bubbler you told me to check out was the one most people were talking about, the D020 d looks pretty sweet to. There all so cheap lol!! So I know the D020 is abit smaller so is that why everyone choses the D020-D instead?

I've been shopping around dh searching for a removable mouthpiece that is spherical for the fc ufo. But I cant find anything but j hooks. Anyone know what to plugin or if china even has those?

Got the replacement CCG FTK today (actually it arrived almost a week ago but today was when I actually was able to get my hands on it). Happy to report it seems to be all intact and well made.

In what's a shocking twist I actually love both Steven's & CCG's. I'm currently using Stevens for concentrates and CCG's for flowers. You kinda can't go wrong with either. Though I don't think I would have gotten a replacement so easily and quickly from Steven as I did with CCG. It was a small leak, but in an important place that I couldn't fix myself (maybe if I was more handy/had the right materials) and after they got proper proof they shot me the replacement almost immediately and then after I offered to destroy it they suggested I look for a local artist to fix the leak instead! Which shows some pride in their product. They made this thing and if it can be fixed they'd rather see that than it destroyed but they also sent me a new one without issue. So great job CCG.

As an owner of the DBV that sits in my closet, if you have the d020-d, I see no real reason to get another piece other than for fun.

I would personally be saving for a new vaporizer. My minivap is worlds difference over my DBV. I'd be aiming to upgrade to the grasshopper first. Actually, I'd purchase a grasshopper now, then when I go tit, sell my DBV and consider that to be my "upgrade".

That's a better upgrade than a new piece.

I love my D020-D, but if I were buying again I'd try the sidecar, simply because it will allow a better view of vapor forming /being cleared.

I've never tried the sidecar, but I bet you can't go wrong with either.

This is a bit of a cross-post from the solo thread. This is all cheap glass I got off DHGate.Here is "Elephant Rig". Its a 8 arm percolator ashcatcher glued to a glass coaster for stability, with a silicone hose, keck -lipped on. On top is a Y adapter with 2 Arizer Solo's connected. If you're talking Authentic Mobius vs a Chinese Knockoff, from a pure functionality standpoint, I'd get a chinese knockoff. If it breaks, it's much cheaper to replace, and you can get 2 from different sellers and have a backup for under the price of an authentic.

You both should be more specific about your concerns though I guess if you're trying to decide between the knockoff and the real thing.

Edit: Now that I have a knock off piece, I don't feel so scared whenever someone is smoking my bong/vape. Before, I'd worry they'd drop my Mobius piece, but now it's nice and safe and I have a $20 bubbler to use instead. I'm hoping the thickness is better on the other pieces I ordered from Kathy though and interested to see how Steven and CCG play out.

Edit2: Steven has a couple new glass pieces in if this wasn't mentioned already. Smaller 8 inch Mothership clones of the Klein and Taurus recyclers. Also a slightly larger piece with what looks to be double circ percs?
How is steven's glass thickness especially around the stem? I found Kathy's to be weak. I guess I'll know for sure though once I place my order I think I'll test 2-3 pieces from him as well including another little cake rig so I can directly compare the quality of the 2.

That piece looks terrific. Have you run the E-Nano through it?

nano fuckin hums through this thing!! It does steal just a little flavor, but worth it for the ride IMO. Not all the time, but it is fun to hit. With the added diffusion smoothing things out, I can take bigger hits from this, too.

Best fun so far was a concentrate sandwich using some stuff that had a bit of a bite (and makes me want to cough a little). Had nano about 8.0, just a little rough ground above and below and a nice chunk of shatter in between. Nice, full, tasty hits forever. OK.... not forever, but at least 10 huge ones and a few more (5/6?)lighter ones while I hit it here and there for the next hour or so. Not much more than a tickle in the back of my throat, even with this stuff, which is noteworthy.

Forgot to post in my first review, but this bubb has a weird almost tinky sound when you hit it and changes tone when you clear it. Was kind of odd at first, but really kind of like it!

IMO? Yes! Or, the sidecar below. D020-D is a great piece, but if you're ready for a little more volume either of these (this or sidecar) would be a nice upgrade. The glassartist one is more $ (close to 2x I think), but it really is well done for a Chinese piece. Don't get me wrong - I love all my cheap pieces - but there is a noticeable difference in both form and function. True reti gives some more action, slits are pretty damned uniform for Chinese (not perfect, but more perfect than most DHGate I've seen) and piece has a nice girth/feel to it. I was worried about the weld to the mouthpiece. It's solid, even if not the most perfect work. Didn't get a good pic of it on last photo-shoot. Will try to get one up soon.

Different strokes for different folks and all, but if I were you I'd get this sidecar piece. I have one that is the original and still love it. If you're looking for just a bit more can size and diffusion (and want to buck up the extra $) go for the glassartist piece I've been talking about. If you just want one solid, decent piece for a great price - get the sidecar!

Be forewarned you have to be more creative with dabs on a center dewar joint bubbler (joint on top of can). There usually isn't enough clearance to hang a drop down off it, and I try to be extra careful with a torch if working right on top there. You may be able to find (or get a custom) dropdown that will fit - but they're not common.

Yeah.... like i just said. Really can't go wrong with that one in my opinion. Bonus with the sidecar.... it makes it really easy to see your hit while hitting, so really takes down the learning curve or getting the hang of your vape with glass. With other vapes that sit right on top, it's nice to have the vape off to the side instead of right in your face. Not as much of a concern with EQ, DBV or other hosed vape, but I think a sidecar is a little more future-proof depending on what vapes you may get later.

Regarding the dabs, I have a 19 mm male quartz banger with carbcap so that shouldn't be a problem right?
And that glass artist piece you talking about looks pretty damn nice to .
