Really nice addition to my growing collection of glass. Here are a few of my impressions from the few sessions I have had with it so far. Again I don't know much about glass and its terminology so please ignore my ignorance.

What I like about it :

1. Fits the Evo perfectly, really tight seal.

2. I like being able to look down while I am taking a draw- to see the water spin round the recycler.

3. Nice size mouthpiece

4. Surprisingly good flavor through it ( Considering the water level )

Only a couple of Things I dislike about it are:

1. It requires a bit more water then I like using to see the swirling action . Taste still comes through plenty though, which surprised me.

2. No hydarfoot .

It's a great functional piece, for the price you can't go wrong.

Short function Video : https://vid.me/eaMM

Won't see much vapor as it was a tiny bowl , evo too strong. Sorry for the camera angle, my phone was resting on my monitor . Can't wait till you guys get yours , so I can have a more informative review of it.

My wife likes the D but I like the UFO. To me the perc is perfect in the UFO, good diffusion but not so much that it kills flavor. I also like the volume of the can better, the versatility and ability to add different mouthpieces. I think you can't go wrong with either.

Thanks for the reply, I'm leaning towards the FC-UFO, but I'm hearing some worrying stuff about the seller on dhgate. Even on this page someone is complaining about his quality control...

Not sure whether I should risk it. The detachable mouthpiece is the main selling point to me, but I'm not even sure if the whip is any good.

Thanks @Mangos , looks like it may take to much water for me , i see it almost splashing to your mouth. Kind of a bummer as i really wanted this piece for my Evo when i get it. I own Stevens HT right now so i am hoping it works ok on the Evo. Wish it worked better with less water.

You're welcome , anytime . Yeah it's a shame about the water level. It still works well without as much water- but you don't see the swirling effect in the recycler.
Trying to compare to water level to the swagcycler and it also uses a lot of water. I don't know if it's needed for the function or what but this is the only video of it I found, think it's @Stu :

Taste is still really good considering, better then Steven's HT IMO. I really like the angle of the mouthpiece as well. This will be my daily piece for my evo- until I get my replacement HT back from the retailer in a couple of weeks.

Honestly, when you're buying glass off of DHGate, I'd say there's a significant chance that there will be at least a few imperfections in your piece. That's why they're so darn cheap. Now, if your piece is straight up nonfunctional, most sellers will take some steps to make it right. I've gotten good and not so good pieces from Steven, Kathy, Clean Clear Glass, and some shitty quartz products too from multiple vendors. If you really want quality, you should buck up the cash for well made glass blown by reputable glass artists. I think it's somewhat understandable to have as inconsistent results as some of these sellers have, given what they put into the whole operation in the first place.

And with that being said, I'm going to buy myself a FC-UFO. If it's janky, well, it's only $40.

Thanks for the Vid! That over flow center tube looks risky with that water level. That's why we wanted an overflow section. Recyclers always take a lot of water with the EVO IME.

In the swagger cycler video:
Yes that's @Stu shouting out to @Zangano Cruel
Looks like he was about to go into a coughing fit after that hit.

Thanks for the link. Although cheaper, that one doesn't seem to have the whip attachment.

Yeah, I understand that you get what you pay for. I'm fine with imperfections and small cosmetic defects as long as the piece functions properly and sits level. I think I'll probably bite the bullet soon enough and decide between the D020-D and FC-UFO.

Can anyone comment on how good the whip is on the UFO? Do you need a lot of lung power to get a good pull? Does it affect the taste at all?

The v1 didn't have a whip attachment and I didn't want unknown sourced tubing so I made my own. It takes a little more pull and a good vape to keep up with the whip, but for kicking back while the UFO is on the coffee table, it's pretty nice, the tubing saps most of the flavor though.

hey guys been following this thread for like a year, i have the fake torus and the fake straight fab w/ grail banger and i love it. wanting to get the fake egg next, just wonderin who makes the best egg? i know this question gets asked alot, but the quality of the products are always changing and i want to make sure im not on some old shit. I want to stay away from kathy. The one from gorgeous_heroine has an awesome perc, but i know stephen is always putting out quality products (my straight and torus is from him). thank you! and any tips are appreciated

that new hydratube definitely looks cool, bigger than i thought which i like. Like some have said, that water level is pretty up there. I think it would be fine with straight distilled water but adding any cran extract i can see those bubbles stacking all the way up that mouthpiece

I ordered from Kathy on the 19th of January. Tracking just updated today that the piece arrived in Chicago. I dont know how much of it is due to CNY or Kathy not shipping. I probably wont order from her again.
I ordered my new rig on the 15 of Feb and it just arrived today. I was expecting alot longer due to CNY but 3 weeks isn't bad. I have ordered from other vendors and talk about a song and dance until it finally came in. I ordered one from iOffer and it took 2 months before it arrived and was the wrong size (I needed a 14mm he sent me a 18mm). I do feel your pain PoopMachine and the waiting is the hardest part but hopefully your order comes in.

I got burned on some American glass recently. Someone here posted about a good deal on glass from Sasquatch so I grabbed an awesome looking Bee Hive Bubbler! They were featured in High Times in 2014 and I wanted one ever since.
Unfortunately they took everyone's money on the last several hundred orders and bailed. Very sad indeed.
https://www.facebook.com/sasquatchglass/

They are making people dispute the transaction and if you used a prepaid card or it's been too long, too bad. They have been telling everyone to just sit tight, they are coming for weeks now. I should have known but I wanted to give these guys the benefit of the doubt. Oh well I guess I should have bought another Chinese piece after all!

Ok so my search for a deal on American glass continues. I found this awesome worked 21" tube from Everest glass. I know it's a combustion piece but I can get it for $100. I don't know a lot about Everest but that seems like an incredible deal , Is it?? I suppose I would be giving it to my combustion friend for his birthday. It has a fully worked bowl and has NEVER been used. Should I get it for my friend for $100 or buy something from DG Gate for cumbusting for him?

Wow, I need that recycler Hydratube! It really came out great, thank you @Bongologist for all the hard work. Just got my Song V2 from @Ratchett so that Hydratube is next up. If anyone in America doesn't like theirs, PM me--I'll bite quick, at or above full price.

I don't think that a lot of water is a turn off for a recycler. I think most recyclers in this style use a lot, but the trick about recyclers -- I believe -- is that a lot of water doesn't mean a lot of diffusion due to the function--the water travels with the vapor, instead of making the vapor go through the water.

I feel that the fairly restrictive nature of the whip that comes with the UFO is a pro. I pair it with the solo and its easier to milk the can for bigger hits. That said, clearing takes a lil longer than say the D020-D. You need decent lung capacity I'd say but not necessarily power if that makes sense. The original pull to milk requires more patience but is really quite effortless, hard to explain.

In any case its fun as fuck and much easier for the GF too :) just lay back on the couch.

So.... Does anyone know anything about Everest glass have a guess at how much this thing sold for?
