Hey guys, been lurking for years and finally decided to join. Been watching this particular thread for a few weeks now too.

I recently sold my Envy bong with a single honeycomb. I got almost what I paid for out of it, so I'm planning on using some of that to order from DHgate. I'm also about to sell my Silika oil rig and replace it with something overseas. I figure I can get a decent chunk out of the silika and I don't really like it that much anyways and have had it for almost a year.

So really I'm looking for a rig and a flower setup. I have a female domeless 14mm TiPower nail I wouldn't mind keeping around and using but I wouldn't mind grabbing a few extra ti nails and trying a ceramic one.

What kind of perc should I consider for my flower piece and what kind of my oil rig?

I was thinking about just going with the D020 since that seems to have the most consistent feedback but I dunno. I would have to get an 18-14mm adapter to use my nail. Unless there is something similar to the D020 that is 14mm, I tend to prefer 14 for oil and 18 for flower anyways.

I really want to pull the trigger on the YQ-42 as well but I hate the mouth piece and for how little I smoke these days (like an 8th every 2 weeks) I don't know if I can justify that much on it. I wouldn't mind more of a bubbler for flower either, was just trying to replace my Envy with something comparable.

Welcome for coming out of the shadows! :)

There are so many choices, it's hard to pin down one. But in general, I like honeycomb or matrix-style percs for flower. In an oil piece, the less diffusion the better for me. My favorite there is a pignose perc, but the four-hole perc is good too. Just my preference. I'm sure others will have theirs.

see, thats why i was letting u guys know im still new to all that stuff... just gettin into desktop vapes, i use a pen vape for concentrates and the, of course, iDAB! :smug::bigleaf:

Don't let my statements detract from you buying a D020, we're all running on the opinion engine here:cool:

Sunshinestore has plenty of adapters to suit your 14mm needs and you can always play Lego with them by adding ash catchers, claisens and stoppers if the volume doesn't end up being enough.

I wish I had a little more money because I seriously want to drop like over $100 right now haha. Well probably set some aside for shatter too I'm sure. I feel myself getting some mild GAS thanks to you guys, but luckily living in Colorado I can sell anything that I don't like pretty easily.

I'm definitely ordering one tonight so it can ship asap. I want to go with kathy because the shipping estimates are far better. I'm sure I would get it faster from Sunshine anyways, but I don't want to take that chance on my first order. Rather get it sooner than later so I can do a test run and order more. :D

Why is this such a hard decision though?! Ahhhh!

Whether it's vaporisers or glass, 'Best' is a subjective word. I have not tried all the glass there is to try and even then, I'm a sample size of one:)

I'm giving the D022 a go next for my Nano, as well as a couple of ash catchers, so I can play with setups. The D022 comes highly recommended from @ataxian and that man has not steered me wrong with any of his vape/glass advice:clap:

Pulled the trigger on the D020! Pretty stoked, I spent an extra ~$8 on a 14-18mm adapter so I can use my TiPower 710 10/14mm domeless on it. That way if I sell it with my Silika I'm only out $8 and it's nice to have extra stuff like that anyways.

I also ordered the 8" inline rig for my neighbor for $25 shipped... I initially told him it would be around $35-40 when I was looking more at Kathy's pieces. I'm fronting it anyways so I'll probably just tell him $35 or work out some kind of "trade" lol.

I want to try the new-vape nail and grab a carb cap to try out some low temp dabs. I held off on a flower piece for now. Going to try and wait until my roommate will throw down halfies so we can get the YQ42. $30 each is pretty legit and I figure it's only fair since I dropped $150 on my old single honeycomb, which I ended up selling to the homeboy across the hall as well.

Lord help me as this could get out of hand fast. :D

Quick recap of my issue with them:
Got an item - wasn't functional by design.
Was offered free shipping on my next item as compensation.
The next item wasn't functional due to a blocked off uptake tube.

I requested (well, more like demanded tbh) a discount on my next order of 2 items because of all the issues I was having.

One of the 2 items didn't allow shipping to Australia so I was waiting for them to update the listing to allow shipping to aus before I could place the order to be discounted.

I was annoyed but happy enough at that point.

After messaging ccg at least 3 times informing them that the shipping issue needed to be fixed, and the only response being along the lines of "there is nothing wrong with the item, please place the order"
So I tried the dhgate live chat feature to see if that could help me, an after explaining the problem twice, the rep said they weren't at their computer and couldn't help me.

Being very frustrated at this point, I sent ccg another message, with a more stern tone, basically I had to talk to them like a 6 year old.

Finally this worked, and they updated the shipping on the item, but then I get a message from the owner of ccg (before this all messages were apparently coming from mike - props to mike, he seems cool enough) saying essentially
"I don't like your tone, there's nothing wrong with our items, no one else has complained so the problem must be you"
He also said (again, paraphrasing)
"You shouldn't ask for a discount on anything, you haven't sent us proof the item is faulty, send a video of it not functioning properly or we won't send a replacement."

I was never asked to provide any evidence and would have happily provided it if I was asked in a professional manner earlier, but I don't like the owner being so confrontational and dickish.

So basically, because the owner wants to be a douche, I'm officially ruling out ccg for any future glass purchases, and honestly wouldn't recommend them to anyone going forward.

D022 for me not everyone is the best piece with the NANO!
I have ash collectors, jhooks, various mouth pieces and adapters to customize set ups.
Some are too big. Some too small.


The D022 with the correct water levels works very well and it's super cheap!

Do what you like not what I like!

Experiment almost every session so I come across set ups I like.
the D022 is an experiment that worked out.
This morning I have a ash collector with a small mouth piece I will test. (SOLO).

Ya I started this pissing contest about the D020 and didn't mean to. I love my D020 but I am of the believers that the can is a little small for the Nano. I just wanted to know which one to try next...D022 might be it. I had the WP10 and it would probably do the trick but I gave it to a friend in need. He is a combuster and it looks like :puke: last time I saw it. I clean my pieces daily now.

The D022 is still my favorite piece. i use my D020-2-W a lot too but i have just ordered my second D022 (which has shipped within 12 hours of payment from sunshine store)

waiting on kathy recycler to ship.

Just my 2 cents on the D-2020: My lung capacity is not too great, so the small can of the D-2020 paired with the Nano or Underdog is just right for me. Plus, the draw with it is so smooth and effortless I just have to love it all the more. It's a quality piece of glass that's well worth the price and more.
