Just scraped in and used my 10% discount on DHgate, hurry ! it ends today!:myday:
...discount?

Thinking about getting a new bubbler. I am currently using my nano with a D020...
Anyone have any experience with both the D020-D and the D022? I am leaning towards the D020-D at the moment...

Seriously @Dangus Wtf, my wallet cannot handle you constantly announcing these new pieces.

This ball rig looks much nicer than Yingmin version. Very glad I didn't pounce on that. The only thing holding me back on this one is the seller.

Is anyone familiar with Kent ning ?

Dangus

Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
hahah, sorry @blankrider , checking the recent stuff is becoming a bad habit

haven't dealt with Kent, but his track record/feedback seems decent...*BUT* it looks like he just switched from free shipping to charging (price change within 2 hours of posting?!)...upping the price a bit...

Kathy if you are out there where is my recycler?? I didnt think it would take her 9 days to process my order literally.

I too am waiting, but ordered a couple days behind y'all.

With a new piece and ordering early, one should probably except the full processing time or at least close to it. I mean, it's stated right there, so not sure why one should expect anything faster....though I agree it is a nice bonus that a lot of the more popular pieces seem to ship and be delivered fairly fast.

Just remember the type of gamble one is taking with new pieces, or just ordering glass from DHGate and similar sites...it's not always a smooth & quick process. Part of the reason why prices are so low...

Single pieces at low prices with fast delivery is nice...but not always a guarantee...heck they pull pieces and jack the prices up at will...

Just my opinion...I really don't feel entitled to much though, and feel lucky to be able to get deals like this.

Cheers

Her next move will be to give you a fake tracking number. But to be fair to her, she is not the only one doing it, I have purchase other non glass related items on DHGATE and have gone thru the same BS, it could be a common business practice there.

mestizo,
Im used to doing business with Kathy. This is my fourth purchase from her. I've been through the fake tracking number and all. I was only kidding, I knew when I hit the confirm button for the order it would be a month before I saw that piece. I'll have a Hydratube from Doughboy by the time I get the Kathy piece and I'll probably just shelf it for decoration. I just know once I get this Doughboy piece all my glass will be shelved for awhile.

I received what I like to call the "igloo rig" today from Alina. It was well packaged and took about ten days, so not bad.

It has solid build constriction and I like it a lot. It has a 14 unpolished slit showerhead. The perc is not centered in can, it is closer to the joint. It is also a bit crooked, tilting down towards the front. I find that if I tilt it back some while hitting it the perc sits even. I usually do this subconsciously anyways so I guess that is the best direction for it to be crooked. The piece has such a nice low center of gravity it can support my nano with no tipping problems. I really like the angle of the sidecar mouthpiece. My vape is a comfortable distance from my face. And this thing gets a ton of flavor! I also like the 45 degree cut angle dome

I purchased mine while it was on sale for 30% off, so it was only $26.25

Thanks to those who responded to my query. Dh gate is hard to accurately search. Does anybody have links to sunshine store for the d020 and d020-d?

She's been a little busy with social events.

I avoided this thread for a few days, hoping the gas would die down, but the flames just came back stronger than ever. It's like trying to douse gas, with gas.

Hope not because I just pulled the trigger on it. A more bent mp would have been nice. I find as long as diffusion is kept to a minimum, it can work. With that,..ahem...'horn' I'm going for tilting the piece back so the downstem is nearly vertical.

So I finally got my DO20-D form SSS on Friday and figured I would post a short review.
Shipping took about 12 days to LA so that was as expected , Packaging was great again as expected .

Mine shipped the day before the new DO20-D cam out so I blew that one .

I piece is great . Heavy build and no marks or scratches .
I love the size of the can it fits in my hand very well .
I had a hard time telling the scale of this thing for all the pics, so I was happy about that .
Also I like that I can tip it far enough back so I don't have to bend my neck ( a big problem for me ) and I can fill it with enough water to still cover the perc and not get any splash .
It hits really nice with no drag at all .

If had to say anything negative It would be this . I would like the mouth piece to be just a bit bigger and maybe a bit more bent (glad i didn't go with the DO20-w the mouthpiece would have made me crazy )
And I wish it was a sidecar .

So overall great !

But I am still in on the 187 sidecar or the next cool sidecar with a 18mm f joint that these guys make!

ASH COLLECTOR'S and J HOOK work with all of them.

Do what you like!

Quick side by side of the GB-187 (Left) and the new D020-D (Right):

Can is shorter, although slightly "fatter." No weld on the bottom of the perc, and a single horizontal band to break the verticals (the GB-187 has 2 horizontal bands). A dry run created a nice amount of diffusion with minimal drag.

I think I am going to like this piece very much.
