Hey I've gotten several random glass nails and one metal type of nail from Sunshine Store. I dont dab personally and know nothing about it. I have a buddy who I was gonna give them to but before I gift them I was wondering are they safe to use or should I trash them. I ask because I've seen random remarks about these nails but since it didn't concern me I paid them no mind. Just curious would I be doing him good or bad by the gift.

D020 on the left... that's the old style perc on the D020-D, but afaik the rest (dimensions etc) are the same...
As stated already, the -D is bigger, being both taller and a bigger bore can.

Ehhh i would toss the "ti" and keep the glass/quartz. But i'm no expert myself. If you want to gift something that lasts and works great HE domeless with a carb cap

Hit the metal one with a touch. Did it turn rainbow colored? If it did, it is probably titanium. Chinese ti gets so much trash talked about it by people who don't even know that much. Usually self proclaimed know it alls. Don't believe the hype around highly educated and other extravagantly priced titanium. Most of the cheap stuff is the exact same grade 2 as the expensive. Look up the price of ti per pound and think of how easy it is to machine a nail. HE is raping people and can only be credited for developing new styles of nail, not having a better quality product.
And I am not trying to start another ti nail debate, just stating a fact.

I have the Sunshinestore water tool on order too, so I'll be able to make the same comparison! I figure the water tool might be good for traveling--we'll see. I placed my order on 8/14, it showed as shipped within a day, and 6 days later shows as being in Chicago!

I understand,I have doubles of each after only having one and owning it for 2 mins before it rolled off the counter and was history. I think the next one will be a wooden one (WonG) and wont have to worry about it breaking. You can buy an adapter that will allow you to use the 18mm.It has a 14mm male and coupled with a 18mm f/m and only a few bucks vs. the new GonG of 28 bucks from PV........................YMMV

yeah, water level is a personal option, in this vid, I just put enough in there to show how high it would stack with out getting in the mouthpiece. Just do what works for you, that vid was more for general perc action and isn't meant to be a final guide. Do what works best for your needs.

I ordered from Kathy last week and received a tracking number on the 15th. Last I checked it said it. Has left China and is on route to Canada but not sure how reliable that information is.
