Will a slow pull work better? I was thinking of using it to vape flowers with the HI.
Or, can water be used on the top matrix only? To avoid water from the bottom chamber reaching the top? As a last resort? Because mine is in the way here, and I'm kind of disappointed I didn't read the negative post before I ordered it.

You can try adding diffusion beads to create more drag, and make some new vapor paths so water doesn't make it straight up the mouthpiece.

My wife has never smoked cannabis however she made me grow my own medicine because it's easy and makes economical sense.
The problem with this site (and good points) is we all have different laws.

Ataxian, I don't think anyone was offended that you suggested growing. It's just that there are some barriers that exist for people that make it difficult to do. I think it's great that you can do it, and I'm pretty sure your trashman does too.

Search GB-186 on this thread - you'll a ton of reviews. Overall impression I believe is great build quality, but too much diffusion for vaporizers.

I have one. I use it all the time with my Evo. Its a great piece. My first one showed up broken and the second one, the top perc was kind of crooked. My first one ended up getting fixed and I re-homed my second one to a friend.

AFAIK, these pieces on dhgate are meant for resale. The Chinese sellers prefer to sell in bulk (and that's the only way you'll get the 187 btw). Like someone already mentioned, other sites and many headshops already do it so you wouldn't be the first.
The only people you'd be offending is mobius or roor or any of the other company logos they sandblast onto the Chinese pieces as blatant forgeries. Just don't try to pass off a Chinese piece as a name brand piece and I think your conscience will sleep fine at night.

The fact that we can order them direct at the wholesale prices is what is a (happy) surprise. And the resistance to do so is understandable. For me, most of these pieces would not be interesting at double or triple the price.

This piece is really thick 7 - 9 mm
Doesn't diffuse like some of my bubblers however by adding a ash collector the dynamic of this piece is enhanced.
This ASH COLLECTOR works with a jhook or bubbler as well. The old piece I had came alive when I put this AC as a attachment!
I'm out of GSC so I've been stuck with mostly INDICAS.
The D022 I will use tomorrow when I load up on a new batch of HYBRYD.

Most all of the import you see around in either LHS's or other online vendors ALL mark it up and most are buying bulk lots and from there its up to you.You wouldnt believe the numbers I see locally of the exact same glass
but some just dont know about cutting out the middle 
, oh well sucks to be them.Takes a little scratch and a web site and paypal,from there you have to try to feel things out for online,have to work on exposure, no physical store front..There are other import markets that also sell nothing but bulk of everything under the sun and ship globally. Can be done, free advertising thru soc.media sites ,C.L. .............

Quality of the China glass: "you get what you pay for"
It is cheap so the quality wont be perfect.
There will be:
bubbles/imperfections/scratches/not the straightest moutpieces/percs
However, I would say maybe one in every 10 will be near perfect. It is all the luck of the draw.
To help increase my chances of getting the near perfect one, I order 2-5 of the same piece, pick out the best one, then sell my extras to friends or on Craigslist.

I've always thought the cheech brand was made in china, though thinking back on it, I've got no actual basis for that assumption.
I've got no experience with the website you listed, but I absolutely don't trust that listing.
1 - they state the piece isn't as clean as the one in the picture, so
a) that's not a picture of the actual piece
b) they may ship you a slightly dirty piece.
2 - they call it a honeycomb, when it seems to be some kind of inverted showerhead.
I'll cut china sellers a lot of slack with names of percs due to language barriers etc, but assuming that seller is supposed to be a native English speaker, it's a red flag to me.
The design of the piece leaves a bit to be desired IMO, I'd much rather have something like the d020-2--w, but if you like that design I'm pretty sure there's something like that from Kathy or sunshinestore...
Regarding build quality,
So far I've purchased the following pieces:
D020
D020-W
D020-2--W
The virus rig (model number starts with a W)
GB 186 & GB 187 (I may have the numbers wrong, but they're the möbius ion clone and 60b clone)
Fritted ash catcher
No issues with any of them, all good build quality.
The D020 doesn't have fire polished slits, but I knew that going in.
The virus rigs showerhead look a little cheap, but functions perfectly.
The only piece I've had any significant build issues with was the fritted ash catcher I purchased, it had 2 small cracks at the disk, and a pinhole leak or 2 at the joints.
It was only a $10 piece, so I didn't bother getting a refund...
Some other members have had issues with build quality, but I've been very happy so far.
For the price of that 1 used cheech piece, you could get yourself 2-3 brand new china pieces.

Got the wig-wag inline piece in today and I have to say it is really nice. Good size, 18mm male joint, almost 10" "tall", doesn't stand up, but you can lay it down while filled, with the mp pointed down and it doesn't spill. Over all it's a really well made piece, even with the price increase, I feel it was well worth it. The dish, dome and dabber are nice and match as well. The dome is also worked and matches. So far I've only used it with the lotus. More testing is in order...
