@pigfoot any further comments on the double barrel recycler from Kathy ? yay or nay?

After further study , I decided to try a lower water level in the double barrel. Just over the perc works well for me. That gives it the right amount of drag for an oil rig (IMO). It purrs nicely now. Surprisingly, with 18 slits in the hammerhead, it seems to have more taste, and a denser hit that the mid sized Kathy recycler, which only has a 3 hole perc. Maybe the 2 holes to the upper chamber allow the hit to flow thru the perc quicker?

Actually they work OK to quickly tamp down a load in a nano stem, but don't think I'd take a torch to one!

Good idea about the nano! They work ok for dabs, just don't last long.

Whats the word on DHGate cheap recyclers?

I've got this one - love it. Great size, perfect diffusion for dabs, no water in the mouth, nail is not in your face.

So I am home after 5 days of festing, trying to catch up on reading about 10 new pages... also still trying to dispute the warped/melted 10mm joint I got from Kathy, she wanted to offer me a 10mm nail as a solution?? how is that supposed to fix the bad glass joint? Now she wants me to return it in order to resolve this??? that would cost as much as the glass did in the first place so that is not a reasonable solution. I basically said if they don't want to deal with this properly I will leave negative feedback for them sending out damaged glass in the first place. It was obviously melted, and not fully functional. I am now asking for a refund because she is not co-operating with a simple replacement. I think I will be sticking with sunshine store if I buy any more from DHgate, all of my kathy pieces have functional flaws... not just cosmetic. I am glad others have had good experiences with them, it seems to be a random draw as to who gets the good ones. I don't know if they even look at the stuff before they package it and send it out. Now I need to go run up to the P.O. to get the glassblowing glasses I ordered last week... woooo Well Kathy, it was fun, but I think we must part ways for a bit, this is 3 for 3 and I am not happy with your response. I looked past the others having problems since it was an easy fix, but now I'm just unhappy.

I did tell her it was defective, from the start, now she is bargaining with me for parts I don't need... I just got DHgate mediation involved, and asking for a refund if she won't make this right.

yea thats what Im saying, I would have told her it was shattered when it arrived. If she asked for pics I would have broken the piece myself just to get a new one. I think smaller details about defective parts dont translate well to them. Sorry your piece is messed up.

On a second note: I really hope no one here is using ANY of the TI they are receiving from china?

It cost a bit much for this thread, but considering the real one costs $1,775 and this one costs $135 shipped I thought it worthy to be mentioned. This is American Glass (I believe or extremely high quality Chinese glass) it weighs 2.4 lbs and is aesthetically beautiful. Its a beautiful water show. More pics and vid to come

Would any of you suggest a vertical water tool I could get? I mean those things that look like f-bombs, hydratubes, pnwt. That recycler in the WTB classies looks lovely too, but might not yet be popular with the Sino blowers.

My buddy had a real fab egg for a while. They do draw really nice and provide an excellent hit but its nothing I would EVER pay 1800 for IMO. You could buy quite a bit of glass for that price and have a nice variety. I got into the glass game around 2006 and have owned about 250 pieces from top artists to no names so I have quite a bit of experience as well in this area.

I'm getting a fab egg for my Bday Its going to be a mini hopefully it will be cheaper, I love this knockoff its unreal. This is the direction China needs to go in

5mm tubing and 7mm base would be ideal.
