My Kathy piece showed up today.. Im not sure what I think about it. The workmanship is great but the piece is chuggy. I think the perc could stand to be lower in the can but with a slide in it, it seems to be "okay." i wont be testing it tonight as this will be another dabbing evening. I made some BHO so whenever that is around the nail and torch see some love. I bought a quartz nail but Im not real crazy about it.. if it was domeless I think I would like it better.

Your bucket of glass DOES bring up a question, however. I was in a Dollar store today and was looking at some cpontainers to clean glass in, but I don't know what to use. Can normal plastic containers be used for PBW and water, or do I need something special. I assume for ISO I would be much better using something ceramic or porcelain or glass than something plastic. Up til now I have just been filling my pieces with whatever I was cleaning them with.

I have a d020 (that I love) but I want something bigger because I am about to get the vape xhale evo and I want a nice bubbler to pair with it.

I use a HOME DEPOT 5 Gal bucket for everything! Grout, Paint, Mortar, Cleaning, Dry Wall Mud, Tool transport and even Gardening!
PWB, Baking Soda & Vinegar + RO water or Distilled.
Sometimes I use the ZEP product to get rid of grunge!
Always rinse with clean water after a cleaning.
I do a citrus fruit squeeze over my glass before a final rise! I maybe wrong in what I do however it works in my case!

Still waiting for mine, has been over 10 days ,still in China, as it reads, but you now how that goes. Language skill set on vendor not great but suffice. At the time I wanted color percs, he said it would be a few ,I asked a few what? weeks were his response, I stuck with the clear and have no doubt it will get here, but I dont think he is as prompt as SS or Yingman5, but he was the least expensive for that A/C. I posted it back ,hmm well this thing moves at warp speed, 2 light years ago

Ok, I got the double barrel recycler from Kathy. Shipped in a sturdy box, TONS of bubble wrap. Less than 6 days to get here, ordered Sunday night, the 6th. 8" tall, each side of the "hammerhead" perc has 9 slits. Perc is tacked to the glass below it.Comes with a large combustion bowl, smaller "one hit" bowl, surprisingly nice divited glass nail, and round dome.
Initial impression: smaller and heavier than expected. Don't know the glass thickness, but the barrels are THICK. Joints seem well made, will look more closely at them later. No leaks or anything like that. None of the proportions or angles are WAY out of whack, but they're not even either. Upper barrel is longer (wider from the front) than the bottom. Base is not centered, etc. Overall, about what I expected, not really noticeable unless you check, but definitely not perfect.
If the water is above the bottom of the upper barrel, I can get some water droplets hitting my lips. If the level is within the lower barrel - no problem. The mouthpiece looks big, but it's comfortable. Seems to hit smoothly, but honestly, I was expecting more from the reviews I've seen. I will test more later.
Note: my longest DI ("straw" type) nail hits the curved portion of the downstem under the joint, stopping it from seating fully. It will probably still work, just not the best seal. I have other nails though.
@pigfoot any further comments on the double barrel recycler from Kathy ? yay or nay?

Dabs are vapor too!
Honestly, I like my small Kathy recycler better. The double barrel is a nice piece, but that's the thing with trying all these different ones, you learn what you like best.
I wouldn't use it for vapor (kinda small and male joint), but that hasn't stopped others.

Recently got my piece from sunshinestore.... 20 bucks paid in total for this little guy and I couldnt be happier. Taking dabs through this little thing is perfect, pretty much as smooth as my bigger bubbler I use with my e-nail. Ill try to get more pics later, also the neck of it is just foggy and not scratched. I just forgot to take pics and took them after I dabbed and poured out the water
