I have been using my ashcatcher/j-hook combo a lot for the same reasons.
That double barrel has been tempting me, but it looks like it may also leave the Lotus too close to my face. Especially as it is male and would need an adapter which would raise it further.
Having never seen concentrates or oil around here (non-friendly MJ state) I find the tendency towards male joints a little disappointing. Same for the tendency towards minis and very small pieces. They just aren't very practical for flowers. The D family is about as small as I am looking for.

Just got a pair of those. They turned out fine and were very reasonable. Took about a week.
Edit: And I just ordered a pair of female to female adapters from SS so those male joints don't hold me back any longer...

My inline to triple donut from Sunshinestore has been in San Francisco since Wednesday so I'm hoping it will be here this week. Video to come.
I also know that a lot of people like quartz nails here and I found this seller on eBay who has the male quartz banger/honey hole nails for only $10. Just choose the option without the dabber and the price goes from $25 to $10. I messaged the seller asking if they are going to get female ones in. These are half the price that I've seen any other seller list them as!

I have this large glass water pipe with a perk that is not so great. 7mm glass and lots of volume. So I have this ASH COLLECTOR coming to fit on it. I tried this with another ash collector and loved it however I set the ash collector up with a JHOOK and use it the most outside. I know what your saying about a water piece complete being the ultimate and your correct in your assessment!

wooo crossing my fingers that the mini layered rig makes it here tomorrow....it's my only real chance to play around and post pics/vids for a week 'cause we got some festing to do... it's past the main hub and heading to our local sort now, so it's looking promising to make it here by morning.
in the mean time I'm getting pretty dabbed out using the D022
I did a round of glass cleaning today as well, and got most of my pieces sparkling again. They are not really on display, but stored tucked away in a cabinet meant for a PC tower in my desk. Nothing fancy there... I use a flashlight so I am not fumbling around in the dark.
I really enjoy that D020-2-W sidecar HC/turbine. Its pretty smooth, doesn't seem to over diffuse, no water in the mouth, but I keep pretty low levels. I really like the sidecar, good visual for the lotus, and good distance from the face.
I'm also hoping I like this quartz female 10mm domeless I got, that seems a bit too tall and heavy for for my other two 10mm minis... maybe it will stack better on the layered rig, I want to like it...

im liking the d020-2w alot aswell. it really surprised me when i took a few hits off it. reallly really smooth, and percs/stacks amazing, no splashback and did i mention reallly smooth dragless hits? lol

Ive got one of the blue trimmed ones coming. This last round of stuff I ordered has been by far the slowest shipping wise. I have a piece coming from Sunshine Store and Kathy. Kathy has been 8 days and doesnt even show its in the system yet. Sunshine store I got a valid number it seems but it hasnt updated in about 6 days.

That aint gonna happen this time and my only experience with Kathy was so bad I swore Id never deal with her again but you guys have had positive things to say so I took a chance. My mini donut inline got here today, unfortunately the inside of the joint is too narrow for my domeless so I guess I have to use an 18-14 reducer in between to fit my nail. Messaged the seller to see if it's considered "defective". Aside from the joint it's a pretty decent mini rig. I can do a water test if there's interest.

That is a push combustion bowl not a ground glass connection. Are you planning to vape with it as a mouthpiece for a whip, or a real small vape like the Lotus to fit on top?
Trying to run my SSV tubing into it wouldnt achieve any sort of quality seal w/o some sortve modification Ive never seen I think. Thank you fkr warning me and I know I at "fuckxombustion" but I couldn't pass up this bub, even knowing it is for flame. I have a small double honeycomb and pinnacle knockoff coming for my vaping needs.which reminds me I need a solo gong w that amber purple drip that vaped n confused does.
This piece will only be used kn full moons and special occasions since those tentacle w swirl inside dont seem major durable.

You could make a seal for the whip with many different adhesive materials since you don't have to worry about high temps with the bowl being at the end of a decent sized whip. You may not even need adhesives. A seal can be created by just pressing the silicone down around the bowl hole. I use my Lotus with wpa like this just an inch of silicone over the adapter. If you do end up sparking it make sure you pbw or at least iso it before vaping again if you care about the flavor. Good luck and avoid that cherry in that sweet bowl as much as you can!

Honestly, if it's the $21 inline from SSS I wouldn't expect any better quality considering that's one of the cheapest pieces he has. But, I would love to see a video on how well the perc functions.
Receiving a bunch of stuff from China this week. What's weird is I have 5 different tracking numbers but only one is updating now, kathy's package which I ordered on 7/1 departed SF. So, I'm expecting all my packages to arrive either tomorrow or the day after. Also got a paycheck this week, and ordered the YQ-42, no more glass for me unless a seller pulls out something sexy.
