A few days ago that rig was 35 $$,I think theyre surfing around at other mkts and basing newer values on their work.Getting smarter!!! soon there will be no more BARGAINS & DEALS. Sadly the world is full of thieves and scoundrels, and the internet is merely a subset of the world. No place is the axiom "Buyer Beware" more relevant than the web generally, and overseas (out of reach) vendors in particular. And I don't mean to China Bash here. Many bad guys find that distance and local weak consumer laws make fraud (or it's ugly sisters) easier and more common from several "overseas" locations.

Frankly, the relative success of the folks in this thread (myself included) is remarkable given the above...

VERY TRUE,but we do have to really love the import mkts such as AE & DHG, Where the merchant doesnt get paid until the consumer signs off that deal was solid with out complaints. IF NOT the funds arent released. It seems pretty regulated as in E Bay,there are a few there I think that may think they can manipulate that system that those 2 use, but so far we havent seen anyone get beat.(if so we havent heard about it here on FC)
With out that I think the scrupulous ones would prosper,with out a doubt.
but with that said,I have lived in the big apple for a while and always found the Chinese merchants whether they be side walk type of storefront,ALWAYS were good biz peeps. They understood wiggle room and I always rec'd exactly what I paid for and regardless if it was an illegal activity or a legit one. I generally would go into Chinatown to find goods that I wanted. Man did I get deals on the 1st production runs of projector TV's in the day from them.Always 25-30% less expensive than retail.

And if I wanted Thai sticks, these guys gave you Thai branches not sticks, fuller and larger compared to the ones I was getting in the armpit of the world: DA BRONX. the China town versions were totally mind wrecking and very very tasty as far as combusting goes.Dont know if you ever had Thai sticks. Wonder what the fuck that was back then????? what strain?? what ever it was, it was different than the Colombian gold bb weed of back then.

No you didnt understand the content of that line.She isnt selling anything, she is taking a class(if you follow the thread you may have missed it) and my slant toward it was due to $$#'s rising on import pieces we'll hit her up if and when she becomes a glower, and if she did, we would only hope she would help out the family @ FC nothing more brother, friendly chatter .We do have a glower here @ FC that does honor members and gives a discount as well as a few others. Were not looking to ask her to give up her home,car, bank account,etc and even if she couldnt offer a discount, most here including myself would buy from her to support her new hobby and cause.

I am a follower of her reviews, she is very thorough and always has great tunes playing in the back ground. Shes got quite a good eye and understands percs and functions better than some guys here. Hopefully my post cleared up any misunderstanding you may have perceived

Notice perc placement, THEYRE learning fast and as you and I both see, this pipe reflects that soon the numbers are going to change.Back a while ago Kathy was one of the most available vendors. The earlier members do remember 30-35 day waits and percs were up by the mouth piece on a lot as they were learning. She rarely had a pipe back then break 40 bucks, if you were lucky. Most were in the teens and mid twenties. There wasnt a great deal of variety and you had to look em over carefully before you bought.Pipes Daddy was a big vendor , Ioffer had what we are mainly buying now and it was marked up,but not as bad as I see LHS doing now a days. double barrel knock off here is close to 150 bucks + tax. Also some of the local talent like Pixels art was another great alternative, high end crafting at very affordable #'s as well as Colie glass.
The game is changing, I think CH will always be the least expensive route (I hope so any way) for what seems these days to be catching up on producing some quality pieces. Were not talking great USA blown master pieces (at least not yet but I have a feeling as time goes by, they will) but more decent units that can demand 60 buck price tags and more! GAS might not be relieved for me so easy as the #'s rise.Its OK, I have about 14 rigs that I can choose to vape thru. A/C and hooks are some of the least expensive (if you need to watch that sort of thing) and some of my best performing rigs I have.

edit 3: the double-barrel pulls slightly better than the JH017, the JH017 is funner to watch
for taste the double-barrel wins hands down imo
the double-barrel recycles nicely as you can see the air bubbles going back down the return
imo of the recyclers i have gotten from DH, it recycles the best, at least visually

Looks like it. Thats my "go to" piece these days. I used to use my real Mobius 60T for vaping but after breaking the base from dropping a small pick on it, Ive pretty much moved to only chinese glass except for special occasions. I keep my high dollar stuff put away.

I was dabbing through my Hitman double barrel knock off last night. That piece was made for that!

Try your tracking number on the USPS tracking website. Sometimes the updates are more prompt there. If the tracking number doesn't show up message the seller to ask the status.

y'all are funny, no way I've made any money in any of this, you should see my CC debt ... I consider it a student loan, this is an educational experience for sure, and one you can't find in a school. I do hope to be working glass sooner than later, but there is that learning curve to get through still. I haven't even put my hands on a torch yet, other than heating a nail but I am definitely on the right path and looking forward to learning more asap. I appreciate all the support I am getting here, and hope I am able to follow through. JamGlass is on its way to becoming something real, but I don't know how long it will take to solidify and be any good. Maybe a year or so... one thing is for sure, I won't be sending out inferior product... what ever the cost ends up being.

Hmm, I like that they are using 14mm for the oil rig. That one looks pretty good. Don't know if I want to be the first to "bite" after my last purchase. Wish they would post some size info, or something for scale.

14mm is a good size for a nail, 3 hole diffy, MP back from face. 7" tall. Mine only vortexes a little if the water level is a certain height, which is higher than I like, because it makes more drag. But, it's an excellent splash guard, even with the hardest pull, zero water in the mouth. I have the first one, if I was going to replace it I might try the 2nd one, but the first is definitely a sold choice.

My suggestion is the double barrel recycler, the Hitman knockoff.
I have the BTOC version, if thats any different to Kathy's version (I have no idea).

It's the highest functioning-to-dollar ratio piece I've ever come across.

Add an ebay quartz banger to it and it's a sick, sick combo for the money.

I have two other oil rigs that I paid around $300ea for that get passed over on a daily basis for this little $30 dollar china piece.
