Idk, to be honest, it's probably fine for cheaper glass. "Ripoff" is a loaded term but as @Shit Snacks says, I'm just salty over the blatant copying of something otherwise unique. Some small innovation (other than size) would at least suggest good faith.

It's a ripoff of Cloud Connoisseur's Prophet.

I bought this same rig from LCV under another brand (katalyzer, iirc). Used once and then given away. Terrible waste of everyone's time. Really restricted airflow through that unnecessarily small 10mm mouthpiece is only the first of many significant problems with this piece. Honestly, a $7 j hook off of DHGate is better value. Don't be me.

Yeah that thread is fun to see the various unique vapor focused glass designs at the very least... Explains how the prophet works if you are still missing something about it, or I'm happy to explain the thought process behind the design for effective function (definitely a whole other level from any hook in my experience)

Yes of course, it is interesting though, they had originally made a clone variation of the OG prodigy, that is not even available anymore, and they didn't seem that good, but they did listen and remove the listing so they do have some sort of scruples I suppose lol depends on the reaction etc (the pieces that I had them copy recently, were specifically pieces that are no longer available anywhere, for those and others they at least tried to make their version more of their own, also based on feedback they had received to help stand apart)

There is nothing hard about getting them from China, it can be really quick too, just does require some patience typically just in case... You never know, but I've gotten a ton of stuff, the bad experiences were more rare for me, with a pretty large sample size lol

But the one you linked there looks terrible to me, way too much going on, not going to function well, not sure what they were going for, but there's a lot of china glass especially recyclers that don't actually make sense because they don't really know what they're doing lol I also think complex pieces like that are often not a good idea particularly for herbal vape use...

I have one from Biao with pink and blue color, it is nice, but I really don't like to use it... I've used it with Halo Atlas and I think Zenith along with Tetra and TM, but the chug resistance in the piece makes it not so comfortable... (I know you don't have a problem with the matrix barrel perc of that Genesis recycler like I did so maybe you won't mind the gridded inline perc here, but I found it really ruined the experience with too much diffusion killing flavor on top of the air flow chug) and I am much more a fan of single uptake recyclers instead of the dual uptake I guess for similar reason how it affects the airflow chug...? but price was right on mine

Well to be fair the one above is still okay and fits that description... But I don't know that it gets much better than the CC influx although it is not exactly cheap... And I don't even have mine yet to be certain lol The new klein from popular glass is a great option though it is smaller, so it depends what you mean by large exactly and why maybe?

Well I'm coming from the bong and always liked the bigger sizes. The one I am using daily now is around 50cm with 9mm glass, so pretty huge and heavy. But using it now with ball vape with cable is really impractical and I think it's just a matter of time until I break it or burn myself. Very small pieces are not that much better because if I put it on the table I have to kinda crouch weirdly to use it, and if I pick it up to use it's the same problem as before pretty much. So long story short I was thinking: A medium size (large for recyclers) one would be perfect. Preferably with a bent neck / mouth piece. So I can just put it in front of me on the table and use it while sitting in the chair without moving it much while the heater is on it or me getting up. Idk it all made sense in my head!

So you are using a regular bong? Is there a reason you want a recycler specifically now?? Because you can get a rig like that, and there are much more of them, that are not recyclers per se... Like would you be interested in a straight fab? The large FOL straight fab from popular glass is pretty damn nice, could be the right size and style you are looking for actually...

There are not many of those, but the influx is a larger style with modular mouthpiece which is why I mentioned it though it is not that cheap...

I have this piece. It is well made. Getting the water level right so that it draws decently but still recycles is rather tricky, with a fairly small sweet spot. It functions decently even without getting much recycling in lighter draws. As a recycler per se, it is not very good. I don't use it much, and in retrospect, it wouldn't be one I would buy.
