Hey all! update here sorry, I stumbled upon this forum late at night and scouted through some of the posts and got lots of good stuff. I saw that 6" inline and it definitely sparked my interest. This is my first piece, I was looking for something to mount my Arizer MAX on top of and potentially attaching a whip would be a nice benefit too. The faster shipping time on eBay was my main reason for the initial post but I ended up settling for this. Seemed like there was some talk surrounding that one as I believe it is to be a clone of some Grav model. Let me know if that was a good purchase! I suppose the only downside would be that it does not seem like I would be able to mount a whip on the mouthpiece as I wanted, but I was planning to use it on my desktop anyway.

I am contemplating cutting the pinched mouthpiece off the end of mine as it seems to be the reason for it being pretty restrictive...it is also easily tipped over.
Will this work for vaping dry herb cannabis?
That is a great price for a decent piece (both of mine are 18mm). It will diffuse a lot so will be smooth but you can lose a bit of flavour.

@ChronPain86 sidecar was my first “cheap bubbler” minus the catcher years ago and I still use it now. Wide open, not much restriction if you’re into that. Small, easy to clean, can’t go wrong. Accidentally used without water recently and was pleasantly surprised.
its a nice prec for dry hits, with water its to much diffusion for me but I like my old stereo matrix for dabbing but only dry.

I wonder if there is a DIY video on that! I would totally follow along and do the same.

Would there be a way to somehow stretch the whip around the mouthpiece or tape it into place or something.

Shame about the tipping, the thing seems so big and sturdy, I hope I don't go dropping the thing.

plenty of glass cutting vids on tube. happened to catch this one recently, prob more detailed ones of course.

its a nice looking grav clone but the non removable down stem isn't a feature I like

Love the cat casually chilling in the vid.

I'm thinking with a glass cutter it might be harder to hold the mouthpiece into place while rotating and keeping a straight cut. Seems like the string method might be best for this kind of work but IDK cause I never worked with glass. I'm also worried since it would be my first time messing with glass, I'd have to be sure the glass is properly cleaned after to prevent inhaling anything bad.

I would not suggest trying to cut it, tricky with a lot of glass, even though it is thick... Zero issue of getting a whip over the mouthpiece, just need the right size... However it does restrict the flow, it's a solid piece, I think the balance is actually pretty great personally, very hefty, most people do really like it... I used mine a little while ago and liked it enough to not get rid of it (yet) I also despise the matrix percs and most flared mouthpieces... That little swiss inline is nice and solid for something like Arizer, though it is quite tiny... So many options!

that cat cracks me up lol and the name of the channel is that little puff so kinda fits in with the vaping FC thing ;)

for that bong and for how thick the glass is I think you be better off using a cutting disk, something that attaches to a Dremel device or one for a drill. its not as easy to cut that mouth piece as the cat cut the wine bottle. and there is a risk of breaking the bong. if you like the piece grab one, only if you aren't happy with it consider modifying then, and I'd practice cutting a few beer or wine bottle necks first, that cut is more like the mouth piece than the body of the bottle. and after any cutting you would want to sand with sand paper to smooth out any sharp edges, cleaning is easy rinse multiple times, can't rinse too much only not enough 👍

Yeah after doing some more research I'm leaving it alone. I've decided that I'll just purchase another bubbler if I find this doesn't suit my needs (which I think it will). I have an Arizer max and EQ. The plan originally was to mount the MAX up with some concentrates like this video and I liked the setup he had so that's what got me down this rabbit hole haha.

Nice, yeah I think there are much better options for concentrate extraction too

yeah, feel free to recommend stuff. I recently just got some concentrates for the first time and have just been holding the arizer upside down cause it works. I don't have an actual setup for dabs.

you just need to grab a banger and cap for whatever bong you grab. whatever joint size the bong is get the right sized joint on a banger. I know @LesPlenty has an extensive knowledge about good dhgate vendors with good proper seamless welled bangers, might actually not have that term for that banger type quite right. other than the banger you just need a torch lighter

There are a ton of options yeah, but I also just rely on torch with banger, there are a wide variety there too... Better to check ask FC or the concentrates for beginner threads instead of this one

Well that describes me, but I actually don't really like cold start dabs FYI hot start FTW
its also my usual recommendation to new concentrate users, its a safer way into the space than having a rocket hot dab cause your still figuring out how to heat/timing of heating, lets you practice your torch work while improving and not blasting off to Pluto until your ready.

but people who aren't heavy temp vapours prob enjoy a cold start fairly often but not always obviously. and I am a heavy temp vapour myself but often cold start so that a bit weird considering but good to look at as many options as possible technique/banger types.

I don't want to de-rail too much but I am curious why. The big drawback with cold start dabbing is the time ng technique but other than that it seems like you t would be right up your alley. Although I can also see just keeping what works with regular dabs.

Yeah it's more involved, I'd rather take a tiny dab one hitter, it's not so hard to get the timing right, and I don't think getting a hot dab is any better than struggling to take multiple hits and then clean a cold start dab... My buddy who I learned to having from has moved on himself to using cold start more, so I've done it with him well, and sometimes you can get really wrecked, but I'm really never do it on my own and don't really desire to honestly, it seems to be a necessity when using some sort of e-rig and I hardly ever use those (yeah @Bad Dog I didn't want to get into it off topic here lol)
