I paid their invoice within minutes of them finally sending it to me. I told her on the phone I would pay it immediately and she told me it would ship out within a couple days. I have not chased her, instead I hoped she would do what she said she would. Apparently that was a mistake.

No, not uncommon. But discouraging. I was gonna replace my Large Inline that I broke the stand on but I think I will pass. For now at least. Maybe some time in the future when they have a great sale...
Yeah yours still works, maybe you can figure something out for the base, and you got it at such a great low price, I wouldn't bother replacing it honestly, now that I have one myself to compare to everything else I have, even though mine is a bit different than yours in the perc, I'm still not that impressed with the performance honestly (and not such a fan of the mouthpiece) so if I were you and going to get something else, I would get something a bit more complimentary, like one of the Licit or TAG reverse shower heads or the TAG modular super slit donut I have?

Yeah, I feel like just getting some acrylic mix from a hobby store in flat bottom bowl you could make a decent base for fairly cheap. Not sure what kind of releasing agent you would need in the bowl; not motivated enough to look that far into it

I feel for you but it’s actually the other way around, china has the working capital to keep entire customer service teams on standby, Inflated America has crushed
many small businesses; I doubt Goo Roo could afford a single CS rep; it’s probably all managed by glass blowers wearing a dozen different hats. I’m just saying considering they haven’t even updated the photos yet of rigs that were discussed months back.
Not trying to make any excuses for them but I visited a local glass shop that made my last heady bong and I got the feeling they had a very similar operation going on. The lady who I spoke with was co-owner, and one of the head glass blowers; but also managing the retail store, managing the social media, fulfilling a year+ backlog of wholesale orders, and a bunch of other business chores.
Goo Roo is cool but there’s other American glass in the same price range that is just as good. I’m mostly into worked stuff and art glass these days but there’s been some really nice domestic glass besides the ‘Roo posted in here. Maybe I really should have made that thread I talked about for “not as cheap, but higher quality glass” cause the China/import stuff clouds this thread from the domestic gear.
As far as repairing your rig, maybe a wooden base like the kind Lamart used to make for the Tubo? They had a pivoting arm that sort of secured the base of the glass to the wood stand.

Oh @VapeEscapist yeah I've seen that style in other places, several on DHgate, tough to find the exact one you want to replace though I suppose! (TAG-9 Seems to just refer to the height of the piece btw but I think you are referring to the same modular super slit donut?)
Anyway I stumbled upon a few more fab egg klein recycler rigs:
Both cost around $55 shipped, the one on the right seems to be a twist on the standard fountain to klein funnel style, turning the klein funnel into a fab egg as well, with fountain honeycomb perc below... The one on the left seems to be a combo of circ perc showerhead below an egg, with uptake to a klein funnel, much like this one here?

@VapeEscapist ah I see, yeah that's what I mean though the number alone isn't descriptive of the piece lol Anyway good choice! Although for ice, I'm not sure that would really be so good, I mean it's also going to melt pretty quick anyway, something like a straight tube with a nice pinch makes more sense to just load up the ice? It was cool to do that with my Biao double gridded inline tube from Greek Glass without any water loaded actually...
Oh and for what it's worth I don't think the shipping insurance is worthwhile, I think it's just a way to get more money out of you lol I remove those add-on fees from sites like that that do that, maybe I'm risky!

I thought I had pulled off the insurance on a prior page and it was back on in the checkout. There was no way to pull it there that I saw so I decided a $1.50 wouldn't kill me and if it shows up in 4 pieces, I have a way to claim my entire piece.
Yeah, I have a collection of ice cube trays, some are really quite small. If my smallest fit, it will make a difference and shouldn't melt too fast. But if you do see that cone shape again in searches, please do tag me on it or message me!
That's why I liked that conical design so much. I had 3 different ice shapes I could put in it, including those bottle ice finger shaped things. I broke it getting over zealous cramming ice in like a ham handed oaf.
I've been eyeballing this thread for a while and wanted a shower head type rig as well. And after getting 2 BCG factory seconds, getting a factory second TAG seems meant to be. Thanks again, fuck(combustion)ers!

Haha yes that is the one I keep talking about that is my favorite piece easily, even though I bought so much lately, this is the one, I got it when it was 35% off so with the $10 shipping it came to $74 total... I recently got some purple whip tubing and nice acrylic mouthpieces from the Rogue wax works (though the tubing will not fit over the thick whip adapter that TAG includes unfortunately) so that is a fun way to use it though I prefer using my OGB color 3piece mouthpiece and a 45° angle adapter.

Seems like a lot of people love that TAG piece. I'm really trying to resist it as I had a bunch of unexpected expenses lately, but I want it so bad! I just keep telling myself it's similar to my GooRoo if I put a whip on it (but I know it's not).
