Once again tempted by saki bottle to be that classic style of bong for me, albeit in a very compact form factor, the narrow mouthpiece could be good for me I think and I obviously like the blue color of this one with the opal marble, and only $42 with coupon...

But despite all the torch dabbing glass I already got, I also found this crossing core that I might have to get if it is legit, with this recycler? (in blue obviously, but may as well get the other one too for extra discount if so)
:rofl: :rolleyes: :freak: :uhh::mental:

If only the mp connection were 18mm female and the intake 14mm (and you could get it w/o the bootleg logo)... I'd possibly break my promise... 😇

If it's any help, I love my biao.t saki bottle from Greek Glass... it just feels great! I use it sitting up in bed with DV tips and an IH pretty much every day:

Yes someone else posted ordering from them recently, and/or receiving something from them (this bongglass is different than bonglas btw which is another store for radiant glass) in fact someone bought the exact rig that you linked if you try using the search feature to find their review, otherwise you just have to skim back page by page lol

I have that rig without logo from popular glass, FC-MOD, just the main can with circ perc though, this mouthpiece looks like it is a bit better than the one that came with mine!

All right well the seller replied to me pretty promptly:

Well, it is and it isn't! You and @gordontreeman are why I was considering Saki from Greek Glass before as well (but they have been out of stock for this color and charge a bit more money actually all together) if I get one I think I will also need to get a holey-er GooRoo down stem like you did, or is your go-to with it still the stock down stem that came with it??

I do not do DynaVap stuff (I have the OG all glass vapcap for the novelty haven't used in over a year) though so hopefully the Saki would be good with other things too... Hmm yeah I like that it is standard bong style in a compact size with a narrower mouthpiece, and the color of course, will I be able to resist???

I can run a few dif downstems actually but I prefer the stock 2-hole (all have one straight out the bottom too) on the left for both function and form/aesthetics... the Goo Roo 9-hole that came with the Tater Tot barely fits (not really, just a hair too long) and the Saml Beehive 12-hole is too squared off on top but works fine otherwise... the Invincipole is ok but not glass... I generally like minimal perc filtration with flower and the stock fits it just right... too bad they didn't do the downstems fumed, too, that would've been sweet...!:

I know you also don't like 45° intake joints either, and generally neither do I, cuz I always like the option of dabbing and I usually like doing that from a table or desktop... and besides the Tater Tot, which really doesn't count, it's the only angled one I have but it def works really well from the hand for flower with that mini-beaker bong-like "bottle" feel... nice thick glass, too.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it this write up and I think you've done your work convincing me I will need to get one now... Damnit lol
Edit: except for some reason now the extra discount is gone and it's more like $47 instead of $42 ugh LOL well I asked them if they could do 42 for me or even 40 without a bowl...

Ah yeah it was the down stem from the beehive I was thinking of, I guess I could ask if they are able to sell me just that one, but yeah maybe I don't want that much diffusion like you say, stock one probably best anyway!

Also funny your other photo had the ispire, because I am now trying to decide if it would be more worthwhile to get that for less money than the core with recyclers, and I could use it with the recyclers I already have instead... Though the core works with all my Sai+ atomizers, hmmm I mean I could buy nothing e-dab wise? :lmao:

Edit: fuck, yeah the broad DHgate coupons are suddenly gone, so the core is also $20 more expensive and $6 more for those peak recyclers, I guess that's one way to not buy anything for now haha

I bought this one (on the left), but from a different vendor: https://www.dhgate.com/product/toro-bong-glass-water-bongs-glass-dab-rigs/453257611.html

Here's my post from when I received it:

This showed up a lot quicker than expected. Tracking was from Suzhou, but the return address was City of Industry. Never seen an international shipment arrive in domestic packaging.

Thing is great, all the pieces fit in a large pyrex for soaking in PBW. Only flaw is the mouthpiece leaks due to the orientation. I'm not sure if there's a way to fix it other than putting a small towel underneath.

Anyone else willing to take the chance with me, if I decide to??

If we get a 5 person group-buy, price goes down to $100/ea. I'm in for 1, possibly 2.

Guys if you nave a sequoia its the same buckets with WAY more control over everything.
Only upside of the core is its small form and not having to monkey together a water solution.
My thoughts after using both a lot but it is a very good erig especially for the price and durability.

Absolutely!

Also, thinking about your flower use now, not sure if a 45° intake would be great for a Firewood or P80 or hanging other vapes tho the joint is worked and robust... I guess you'd just have to pull em off before setting it down, so maybe not a great option...? Tho it's fine with a DV tip, of course....

The one thing I don't like about these e-rigs or sequoia "bottomless" options, that a coil and the iSpire system has over them, is that the walls are heated... Oil runs from heat... including UP.

Oh well I don't know if this is the right piece for an FW7 regardless, but I'm not at all worried about using it with a TP80 because in use you are holding the bubbler in your hands slanted, and I always remove the vape from the bowl to fully clear each hit, so I would literally never be setting it down on the table afterwards with the vape still attached! I can just leave the male to male joint holding the herb, the bowl, in the bong, the vape itself is just my heat source, like a lighter! Also I am sure I am going to be doing large HI and Halo rips through the Saki once I have those vapes in my possession soon enough... I mean I could also be doing my small HI through it I'm sure, I'll try vapman too, maybe even a brick or something, who knows maybe my OG vapcap will find its way out of the box lol

Oh interesting, the thing is and maybe my problem with these, is I am using such tiny dabs that I never have that problem really, but I also don't find it very rewarding, like the first hit is all I want and it's never rewarding and then the second hit is not good either lol I think it would be easier with a core rig to at least get the hit right??

That is a good point about the ispire and the way it heats the sides primarily, but what about cleaning too, that's another thing that's really annoying with the Sequoia buckets, they do clean themself if you get them hot enough but it takes so much heat and power on a mod to do so, could just remove the quartz itself and torch it I suppose but then I'd need some kind of tongs to be able to do so? And it still feels a little more involved... I don't really like the idea of having to use cleaners to clean the ispire, like what's so easy about torching a banger is it cleans every time before you take your dab lol hmmm e-trade-offs

Wilfred! Well remember I also just got that giant spiked tube, that's kind of what it is for, though it is more of a rig bong? For now my roommate is doing well getting good rips out of it with the fierce... Mixing it up I'm back using the diffusion pump now and the clear silver fumed version of that blue rig, the four pillar inline recycler, paid more attention to the function and it cycles pretty well actually!

I don't really use the iSpire for dabs all that often cuz I usually have a controller, coil and banger setup (and on) somewhere. For on-the-go, rosin and resin ceramic carts suffice and it's not like I'm gonna drag a rig around anyway with the iSpire unless I'm going to be somewhere for a while...

I also don't torch anything except my SiC banger inserts and terp pearls... everything else gets swabbed out hot with either water, iso or ethyl or tossed into a simple green or DCG bath... torched glass eventually gets hazy and shitty looking... in fact, since I almost never use a torch, none of my glass gets hotter than 550°...

Thanks, that makes sense, yeah I mean I would bring it over to a friend's place, can't imagine using it on the go lol Yeah I still consider myself too casual of the user to go down the rabbit hole of the best dab experience, we'll see if I end up with any of these things, we just need one more person to grab the core for $100 each though...

Stumbled upon this darker green, taller (14in) honeycomb recycler from Kathy, but shipping is so expensive, almost as much as the rig:
Screenshot-20210901-164809.png

Also it seems like this djsmoke place has the green fountain recycler I ordered from ggsmoker at the same price so I wonder if maybe they are the same... They do have some different items though, djsmoke seems to have the heady tentacle male rig I ordered from kokokoko (who has still not shipped after six weeks with that rainbow one) but with a pink bottom instead of amber and a different look slightly, the build and pieces... Backup spot I guess!

Yeah that second pic in your screenshot is the one that sold me. Managed to get a direct link and it was a little bigger.

review_2456619181_00.jpg

On one of the pics on DHg it looks like the circles are active perks similar to Evan's design but the other pics and this one shows that they are sealed and are more decorative than anything. May help a little with stacking but with the size of the can I'm not counting on it making a big difference. Hopefully I am wrong.

In my opinion the biao.t piece was actually very reasonable considering the amount of green in it. More than other ones he made like this have typically had. Video he posted shows function is also on point compared to the last purple/green he listed on IG. He had it listed for just under $92. Honey managed to find me an $8 off coupon as well so I only paid $84 out the door for it. I had looked into having a custom made several years back and it was going to cost me a LOT more so I guess I'm happy I held out.

He also has a couple of the same style in a purple amber. Looks amazing IMO. Someone please buy them so I'm not tempted to anymore.

I will definitely post reviews and function videos once I get them. Both shipped out today so hopefully it wont be too long.
How the performance on the spline rig?
It appears wider can than the Bear Mountain version and am curious how it affects performance or if it changes where you place the waterline.

SEARCH for the treasure...
Bought the “cheap” Chinese rig (upper left photo), from Sneaky Pete. Never had a rig with the joint in the center top. Liked it enough to do a long search on an affordable but better version. C2=Custom Creations is a USA made glass maker, but Covid put this tiny operation on hold for awhile. I checked all there verified distributors on a weekly basis for the past few months, put myself on notify lists etc. Today, it appeared on the Brothers With Glass site, and they shipped it out already. I know $150 isn’t “cheap”, but if you are looking for this style rig, made in the US... I don’t like logos but I’ll live with it if the action is what I expect. I’m hoping this is my last piece, don’t have room to collect a lot.

Why did you have to remind me, @mephisto told me to look there at the steam rollers, so I have a bunch of those tabs open along with the heady bongs under $100...

But relevant to your post, just saw this:

That looks interesting and similar. I am really excited to try their “SPROCKET PERC”, haven’t seen that on any other rig, supposed to be popular with C2 owners. I went with the 50mm can, simple style single perc. Should be perfect for my breath intake, with both my dab rigs and flower setups including dynavaps.

The ratchet perc is nice, easy to clean too.

I was looking at some C2 double ratchet rigs @ NVS Glass recently cause I've been missing my lil ratchet rig.

I like the dewar joint as well, the pictures make it look solid, 5mm glass, supposedly “German made shott glass”.
The base is listed as 3.5”, wish it were 4”, but as you all know, you have to wait to judge these things when using. I’ve tracked this piece on various authorized dealers, lowest price $140, but as always only the highest priced version came in stock, and I jumped on it with a 10% discount, since they seem scarce, and life is TOO SHORT, not to TREAT yourself.
