No dude I mean this slant cut, on the left:

On the right is the good GooRoo opaque bottom banger... I have a bottomless banger from 510mod that is double beveled, and I got the large quartz pi bubble cap for it, which also fits the thermal bangers well so I like those the best so far for that reason?

That's a knock off of the Quave Club Banger design which predates bubble caps. They usually come free with import glass. There's a couple different carb caps for them, the terp tuner type and then the QCB type probably being the most popular.

Oh! I did not know it was an original design that was knocked off lol it is the basic freebie with like everything, and yeah I know they use a different type of carb cap, but even that type doesn't make any sense because it doesn't sit there you have to hold it, I just mean the slant is totally useless and makes no sense to me like why would you cut it that way just leave it straight LOL

Mostly I am using the thermal banger with my large quartz pi bubble cap anyway, my roommate used this smaller banger last night, and it hardly needed capping actually?

Yeah capping always does, but if hot enough it's not really necessary, like there's plenty of vapor inhaling quick, my brother does it this way, but yeah my buddy always caps and so do I, however my roommate coughs a lot anyway and like I said the capping extra vapor was minimal in this case... I mean I try to do lower temp dabbing anyway, I think I need to get one of those temperature gauge things where you heat the banger and then let it sit and this scale type thing measures the temperature for you? Although I have no idea what the temperature I want is lol sorry we are getting a bit off topic now I guess!

Another arrival today, fastest shipping yet! Ordered June 17 so only 8 days for the tall spiked tube from dgc_glass and the piece is insanely thick, everything looks even and pretty straight actually:

The opaque blue of this one is a bit greyer than the CaliBear straight fab FOL milk blue I think, but we will see when that arrives to compare directly... I am glad I got it regardless, something different, and seriously it is also a home defense piece for sure! Fucking glass club lol

Anyway function is pretty good, dry with the grasshopper +PA for now, it only has two slits facing downwards for the little inline perc, but regardless I can definitely recommend this shop now as well!

Another flared mouthpiece unfortunately, I am getting a cork whip adapter from Lamart though so that could prove very useful... Also with this being a tall straight piece, right now I have to hold it in use anyway.

Forgot to mention those silver fumed rigs, the clear and the blue, are also pretty thick glass, not as thick as this latest arrival, but thicker than the blue recycler at least, I am enjoying using the blue one dry and the clear one with water, also with the hopper now...

Nice! Yeah that is a beaker fab egg, circ perc beneath it, seen that one in my browsing... Yeah these are not the worst flared trumpet mouthpieces I've experienced at least?

After finding a small hairline crack in my first piece from Caliber, I asked if I can choose one from their US warehouse (paid $20 difference)

The replacement is the one on the left. Using these rigs primarily for dabbing. I always wanted to try a mothership but not going to pay that price. These 2 pieces are the closest ones I can find

Haha it is attached to the perc, it is just a straight blue piece of glass, I do not believe it is functional at all, although it could help break up the bubbles further along with the spikes, there is one spike near the top that is connected to it, touching it just slightly enough to fuse together, perhaps accidentally? Honestly I think that maybe they use it to connect the little inline perc, like when building I think they make the tube first and then connect the perk by holding the tip of the blue stem to keep it in place... well that is just a guess, I like it because it adds some more color to the piece, but doesn't affect the visibility of the vapor at all?

So the first one you got was a proper fab egg, and I think it has the seed of life perc on the bottom? The new one you replaced it with, is a regular plain ball rig, with the flower of life perc on the bottom, pretty sure?

I wonder if that color is more purple, than the milk blue... Such variety!

Meanwhile SunshineStore told me that that little male shower head rig is actually female now, just like the other one someone else shared here from another store locally, which is pretty disappointing so I asked them to check if they don't have any male ones left (bc I want it for my FW7) before sending this one, and asked if they could include a 14mm male to male adapter at least... At first they were saying they could refund me the $7.50 because I wouldn't need the female to female adapters anymore now, but I told them I still want those female to female adapters, other plans! Hopefully they can accommodate and have not actually shipped it yet, I have tracking but it hasn't updated so I think they have not finished packing and sending it off yet...

Just something to ponder. Using a male j hook on an Fw7 is okay because you don't need to take off the vape to clear the chamber. Will you be clearing the WP with the vape still on it? If not, then constantly removing the Fw7 from a male WP (to clear the chamber), may cause unnecessary wear and tear on the Fw7 WPA.

Sorry, I don't think I understand what you're saying, yes I took the FW7 apart so I could clean the underside of the chamber properly, along with the ceramic vapor path in the WPA (that piece is removable in fact) and yes you are correct, the chamber is always easy to clear each hit, letting go of the button and continuing to draw until there is no more vapor or heat... So yeah I do not remove it from the male joint in use, I pull the entire FW7 off of the hook to pull in some fresh air after I have cleared the vapor, leaving the male to male adapter attached in the WPA... I'm not sure what you are getting at about wearing down the WPA? I don't think there is any danger there regardless? However, this brings up, I was looking at a 14 mm male mini bubbler specifically to use it with my FW7 and not needing an additional male to male adapter, turns out this particular mini bubbler may only be available female now after all, so I won't get to try that out perhaps, but I still like the idea of it and don't think there is anything to be concerned about really? Anyway yeah it is sitting dismantled airing out now, always best to clean it this way, it's unfortunate that my original beta is fused to the WPA so I cannot clean it fully in the same way...

My apologies, that's why I was confused, okay yeah so I get what you're saying, if I have a male joint version of that bubbler I will be removing the FW7 from the male joint more, that is certainly a fair point, I don't think there is any risk really though, but I agree it's something to consider, thank you!

Yeah in the FW7 thread I said how I just cleaned it, after using it on the tall spiky tube this morning, and I misread your post thinking you said cleaning when you said clearing lol

Yeah so, I would not use it like in that video, I try not to remove the FW7 from the piece, until the vapor is completely gone, like visually with my heady hook I can see when the vapor stops flowing and I still keep inhaling just in case after that... Then I often will remove the FW7 from the piece to inhale some fresh air before exhaling (this is with male to male adapter that stays in the FW7)

So with using a male rig, I would not have to remove the FW7 in order to clear, that is what is so great about an on-demand vape with a nice trigger button, you can turn off the heater and keep inhaling to clear properly without removing anything... However as I described, I probably still would like to remove the FW7 between hits, although that could depend on the ergonomics of the piece, so really no way of knowing until I try it of course!

But yeah I don't really think that inserting and removing male joints into the FW7 WPA causes any wear at all... that's why I don't think there is really any risk or concern here, personally? Haven't seen anyone float this in the firewood thread yet

I much prefer fewer pieces and only used my 14 to 18mm male adapter a few times before getting the OGB 14mm j-hook. I agree wear to the wooden wpa ought not be a concern and anyway it's sold separately
