So this just happened:

I finally went to order my replacement mouthpiece (:dog::disgust::rolleyes::clap::rockon:) and figured I'd grab a replacement downstem, too, cuz I got a tiny crack from the bottom to one of the first holes when it lightly tapped the granite countertop just right while cleaning it early on (I'll spare you the smilies)... it measures 8.25" and Goo Roo asks for lengths in .5" increments.... typical... so much shit wrong with that site it's somewhat amazing really, but I guess "quality (and $$$ :tup:) talks, and bs..." Of course the stupid code had to still work... oh well, I can be very impulsive (sometimes!)

Oh, and I forgot about the adapter and dropdown I needed (a US made one can wait!)... and the stupid cheap shitty glass bubbler just sitting there mocking me...:

So, it turns out that the can size of the Large Inline from Goo Roo is not much larger than the FC-187 tho it has more volume. The Inline is a MUCH better perc tho, at least to me.

The difference is a little bigger than it looks due to how tall the base in on the 187.

Long time lurker over here thought y'all might be interested in seeing my new piece. Apologies for the crappy pic. The scale is just stupid. Biao custom: 22" tall, double inline perc, thick glass. It's an absolute monster. Definitely expected to have some buyers remorse when it finally showed up as its total overkill for my purposes but it's just so much fun to use I find myself constantly reaching for it.

Welcome! That looks pretty sick with the ice pinched spikes even in the top and it's a bent mouthpiece! Super tall of course, but I bet it still pulls pretty smooth with a double inline, saw those and was curious because they do look cool and effective!

Oh it's total overkill. I was a little stoney pants when I decided to order and just kinda made it up as I went. It stacks hits like crazy though and can crush an Elev8r bowl in 1-2 rips. I have yet to use the ice pinch and theres zero heat or harshness. It's incredibly thick as well.

eventually... I got to working out what the thread was actually about... so...

This is my only recent life experience* of a 'high quality' bubbler. I can only say it's high quality to me; I think it's cool, it's available, ergonomically pretty pleasing to hold in a variety of ways, it definitely does the job, and at a very reasonable price... I use it with a Dynavap cap and the Easy Flow Dynavap Water Tool Adapter. It's more than satisfying for me... I've also used it with a Spirit Sapphire with their water tool adapter and it did the job admirably with that too! It feels pretty solid and it's still going strong 18 months(?) later, I took a tiny chip/flake out of the mouthpiece very early on (my own fault) but it's never once stopped me enjoying it.

Yeah I got one of the maybe second batch original Tubo Evic, served me very well and sent back to be rebuilt, inspected and updated, then got the Dual when the new Tetra heater came out and was used in them first, before the TP80 was announced and released... I'm going to be in trouble if/when he makes another new dual unit! Hoping for a TetraG3D (using RX Gen3Dual) and I guess I still don't have a TetraX either (that is just the vape without the mod, Splinter style)

Tobaccoglass, who sold me the two silver fumed rigs, replied to my message telling me that the bangers they included are indeed quartz as well btw!

Nice quality, non-frosted 14mm joint, very thick and even, with a small little core in the bottom, but the thing about these bangers is they have the angled top which is pretty annoying for trying to cap? I don't understand it as a design lol

On the right is the good GooRoo opaque bottom banger... I have a bottomless banger from 510mod that is double beveled, and I got the large quartz pi bubble cap for it, which also fits the thermal bangers well so I like those the best so far for that reason?
