I confess that with vape I came out of my old dirty habits.
Very often, especially in the evening, I take a long draw, I swallow a big sip of beer, then I spit the vapor.. May be psychological, but I have the impression that it helps less spit steam/vapor.

Nice idea MrMonss- like a giant beer waterfall- "Get back down there now you naughty vapor"

I have redone the video. Yes it is longer, but with a tool like this it is hard to put it into one short vid!

Have you checked out @Vitolo video on the Newvape thread? He does an unboxing and hits the Showerhead with Newvape's version of the FC-186. Looking at how he pulls the vapor, it looks a lot easier than the FC-186. What do you think?

Yes and to be honest I am slightly aggrieved at the unprofessionalism of Edwyn when he came out very sternly recommending the 186 as the new "FP beater", with a link direct to the taller 34cm one by Steven.

At the same time he said how this would be their preferred FP rig and they would be stocking it in place of the old 187(?).

I could see at the time that the model Edwyn showed using in photos looked disticntly shorter and different shape than the taller 186. Only slightly shorter actually, but enough to make a difference.

Also the mouthpiece is angled down more so you can see the vapor build. It just looks much easier to pull though and clear. I agree with you on that.
Sorry I am just a bit crabby today. Hardly eaten anyhing lately and too cold to sleep all night. I think I would be happier with the Newvape model for sure though.
At the time I did my best to get some clarity from Edwyn as to why his model was different from the one he was linking and suggesting in the thread (which many rushed to buy).

I couldn't get his opinion on it at the time. Just a bit of an irresponsible oversight I feel.
Don't get me wrong, I like Edwyn a lot, and I am in the minority that feel he was wrongly treated in the thread when it all blew up. Sure he lost his cool, but that is because he is so sensitive and passionate, more than the majority of people here are able to perceive. He really does care about people as well I do believe which is sadly a little rare in the world it can seem.

The crowd can be cruel, and my eyes clearly saw an overly insensitive and intolerant crowd working up an unneccesary drama, self piteously casting themselves as victims of a terrible (phantom) assault, when the whole thing just needed calming down civilily to diffuse the situation before it erupted.

So I am in Edwyn's corner, I just was a bit puzzled why he was reccommending a different model to the one he was really recommending and using himself.

Sorry anybody who I am sure sees all that differently I dont mean to offend anybone honestly. I just feel that the situation should have been handled differently by everybody, and didnt like seeing the witch hunt with Edwyn cast as the sole demon eventually.

I appreciate Edwyn as mastermind and producer of this really awesome devices very much but nobody knows why he was pissed off. His behaviour was just choleric w/o any reason.
There were the most constructive critics, nearly his best betatesters, who just adviced him in a friendly way to a little flaw of construction of the new bowls and he's standing like a little child and claims "you are all wrong, everything is working flawless!" and he is leaving the thread in the sulk? One week later he overworked the new bowls regarding the mentioned flaw as suggested w/o any comment or even an excuse for that at least "unprofessional" behaviour. Don't bite the hand that feeds you!
But good to know, if I should acting like an defiant choleric child in the future I'll say it's just cause of my sensitiviness and my passion and everybody will understand that for sure

I appreciate you always Hogni and you can always be dead honest with me I respect you and you have your right of opinion. I can empathize with your view, but I also try to be forgiiving of human nature when others can be very quick to judge. That is all friend, thank you for your honesty.

By the way, I got the bridge adpter from Vapefiend- it's really sweet, well made, compact. It will be perfect for my Ti. Very pleased.

Sorry again if I offend anybody by defending Edwyn. In a better mood now , was all a bit bleak earlier.

Back to Elev8r fresh load- roasting sweet potatoes with boiled green cauliflour, red kidney beans and sauerkraut, plus my fave spices and tons olive oil and good salt as a sauce. Yum!

It was in relation to the recommended FC-186 model for the Flowerpot by Newvape. Newvape's own model in videos which they have on their site is actually slightly different in design and possibly a better function, than the taller 34 cm 186 by Steven.
It looks eaisier to milk and clear with the Flowerpot possibly, and some confusion has arisen over this.
My fauly totally for derailing from there. There was a big blow up in the thread which was blown out of proportion that's all.

I think it's about physics, but I can not find the exact english term (call of air?).
In any case with the TI the answer is impressive, try it if you don't have (This effect also works by removing and restoring the injector on the same inspiration).

For the dropdown I can not really express myself because I broke my D20D. But I have a dropdown of similar shape (N shape) and I also think it can enter.
THIS is the one that i have, you can also use it as a carb/dropdown (i use my finger on the male joint, not the glass part)

I just found something interesting.
I received a glass order, I bought the new "uncivilized" mouthpiece, the CloudBuddy and a FC Rattle Can from Steven.
A little disappointed by all this (I was hoping the same mouthpiece base on the FC Mod, but just with the different angle, it is thinner in diameter, aka a bit more civilized, and the RattleCan is good but nothing more).. I was looking at these "cloud buddy" adapters and wondering why I bought them because I already have too many adapters that do the same trick.
When suddenly I realized that they were almost identical to the bowl of my herborizer, but the grid was impossible to hold in place. I pulled out an Arizer basket screen (one of the most useful accessories in this vapeworld), and it works perfectly !! I think it can be useful for different vapes.
Now I have my bowl and my carb on the same piece (but I already broke one of the two plug)..

The good thing is that the mouthpiece can be used as a steamroller/vape pipe

Very useful MrMonss thanks for some more fresh ideas for my own Herbo in near time. I will have to quiz you at some point on the effectiveness of this as a microdose bowl.

I am planning to get the Microbowl from Seb, and 2 standard 18 mm bowls. But now you tempt me with a new option.
See how you like the Rattlecan for the Ti as well. Carlos was adamant for a while that it was his favorite Herbo rig out of more than 20. That is before he gave up watet tools completely for the dry steam roller.

I just measured mine with calipers. At the top of the taper on the stem, it measures 28.73mm

Well i wouldnt say paranoid, i was thinking that since its all glass it has been made with like strong heat and movement i dont see why any harsh chemicals or anything should be on it?

I could be wrong ofcourse maybe someone that knows about the process they go through at the factory or something

I always clean my China glass before using it. Who knows how these things are handled or how long they sit around before being shipped out? And the bubblewrap is always kinda grimy/gross - definitely not putting my lips on anything it's touched.

Warm water and dish soap for the initial clean. Main goal is to remove any residue/odor so it feels/smells clean. I used to use PBW and/or alcohol but that seems like overkill now.

...i always clean with iso and hot water (from tap)... i have not found any better solution to clean glass... OH and vinegar for those water marks!


...i always quick iso rinse / hotwater purge new china pieces... @snackmaster said it best, and it made me laugh because so much truth...
