This isn't so much of a review but just getting the ball rolling on the CCA Liger banger V3.0. I am sort of the "Lead" (and first) member of the Beta team, my first beta model was the Turtle banger followed by the V1 Liger so I have been working with Josh for a while now. He is not only a stand up guy but also a genius and I am lucky to be on the team! Since then there have been several other FC members recruited and on board the Liger beta team now as well. They will also be chiming in before release. The actual release date is October 30th but we have been testing it for a while now with great success! If Mods feel like this should be merged with the V2 thread we can just change the title and continue posting there. If not we can move the V3 conversation here!

This product in my eyes isn't just a different piece of enail equipment, it is THE premier concentrate accessory on the market right now in my opinion. Josh's dedication to constantly improving the product has resulted in the most efficient, effective , enail on the market. Watching the progression from the V1, to the V2, now to the fully encased V3 the transformation has been incredible! The original idea was to take get the taste of a quartz banger but have the durability of a Ti nail. He has succeeded or Exceeded in both!!
The Body is made of pure Type 2 Ti and The inserts come in Quartz, Silicon Carbide, and Sapphire! And there will be 2 carb cap options. Both have variable air flow and 4 angled air holes that create a vortex inside the vaporization bucket. The Storm Cell Cap is the Flat cap for the 16mm,20mm, or 30 mm buckets. The Hurricane cap is the round bottom cap that works for the 20mm and 30mm buckets.

I will post A LOT of more info, Pictures, Videos, and thoughts as will all of the other early adopters of the Liger V3. We have been posting in the V2 but this should get the ball rolling on the V3.

As you can see all 3 models (only the 20mm and 30mm flat coil shown in my pics) have the coil encased in Ti for extra thermal efficiency.

Below are both the V2 and V3 inserts side by side for comparison as well as both new carb caps and the new dab tips!!

@mrbonsai420 - I believe its implied, and I'm sure its somewhere in the other thread, but please confirm; will the 20mm V3 come in a flat coil configuration and do you like the flat coil in 20mm better or do you prefer the shrouded helical coil model in that size?

Due some interesting circumstances, I now have two great enail controllers and will probably get a 20mm V3 with Hurricane cap for one of them.

The 20mm bucket is for use with a 20mm Barrell coil and the 30mm bucket is used with Flat coils only.

And between the Flat coil (30mm) and 20mm barrel coil (20mm bucket) I prefer the 20mm but only marginally. And If I am taking a big dab I find the 30mm more to my liking. But for day to day use my goto is the 20mm barrel coil configuration. I do rotate out between the 3 inserts and use all 3.

My favorite setup is the 20mm barrel coil V3 with the sapphire dish and hurricane cap with skelly handle. That is the ultimate setup IMO but they are all so good and there are nuances of each I prefer. That's why I rotate them like my glass rigs.

Thanks, mate. I will go for a 20mm V3 with Hurricane cap when they become available. Most likely with SiC as the Sapphire is a lot of mulla ($$).

I have a few friends that use storm cell caps with their standard quartz bangers, yes. The V2 and/or V3 would both work well for that. You can be sure they would cap even the biggest XL Quave banger. The variable air flow cap makes sets them apart from just any old Ti or glass cap.

If you get the V2.0 right now the price is cheaper and If I were wanting one for torch use I would rather have the V2 as the coil shroud would need to be removed to use it like that anyway. Other than that the V3 is a little better, yes.

looks like it would, this was taken from their website. Outside diameter of the 20mm would be around 22mm on the liger I am guessing but I will measure later.

All sizes will have the enclosed coil. I have pictures of both the 20mm and 30mm (flat coil) above. And I will have pics to post of the V3 16mm as soon as I get one!

Or, more precisely, it doesn't fit well.
The bottom rim of the D-Nail carb-cap essentially mates up exactly with the 20mm V3 Liger bucket.
But you would have to hold it or it will fall off.

It's alright, I don't like holding the cap so it stays in place.
And it doesn't provide a positive seal allowing too much air in around the bottom edge of the cap.
The Hurricane and Storm Cell caps are a much better match.

The Stormcell and Hurricane caps fit snugly on both the 20mm & 30mm V3 Ligers.
No hands required unless one wants to pivot the cap.

Yeah they stay on well by themselves but we like to rotate the storm cell and 3d pivot the hurricane! Especially for large dabs.
