CCA Liger banger V3.0

I think a sapphire insert would become to expensive at that company. I asked them for prices of the rubies:

5mm: 1 = 16.50€, 250 = 7.05€ p.p.
6mm: 1 = 18.50€, 250 = 7.86€ p.p.

All price w/o VAT!

VAT needs to be eliminated everywhere on this globe. free trade!

But those prices seem normal.

It's gives them more excuses to delay the shipping. I'm already over it. When it comes it comes. They have no competition so they can do these things.

Exactly. Just wait... Cuz what's gonna happen is your gonna get made and cancel and then in 2 months, get it and have to wait.

Just wait it out and use sonetsome else for now

Just keep in mind that Paypal protection is only 6 months. If it's getting close to that mark it may be wise to cancel and re-order if you don't want to risk losing money. If things went south for them financially behind the scenes, delaying shipping can be used as a tactic to push you past the 6 month mark and then you're screwed. I don't think that's the case for CCA710 but I also thought Hex-Nail was doing better than it was, just something to be aware of to avoid surprises.

What's that for a Hex-Nail model on CCA Instagram? Didn't have see it before. Neither a regular HN-01 nor a HN-02?? Seems to be a customized HN-01 I guess?

Paypal is no paying option anymore IIRC ..?
They still do paypal when i last bought. They will send you a paypal fund request for the amount your owe.

Once I saw Hex selling off all their glass rigs on here, that was my first red flag for the company. They need money so bad they are selling their used rigs to gather funds.

If it comes, Yay, if not, ill msg Josh and nag him just to see what he says. but i already wrote this purchase off as a lose in June when my 6 months was up. Plus, my quartz and sapphire that i have now kicks the Ligers ass all day and night. And if anyone doubts that, come over for a sesh. Im in Socal and free on the weekends.

Absolutely. You may want to do it sooner to get out of those temps you_re at!!!

I'm hoping to get all my quartz in a couple of weeks. Still waiting on a 24 mayoral, 24 Hoyes, 30 eternal, 30 eternal fat bottom and toro arrives Tuesday. And I'll order a quave flat top next week too.

Yea and no. I bet the boxes of pics is still sitting there. But I don't expect the ligers to ship until next week. Even tho he said the laser etch is in house, I still don't see it being done that quick.

I told myself if I get a number under 005, I may not use it and get another one later on. I do not see it being a better version. Just a lighter version for smaller rigs.

The performance of both should be the same like the showerhead vs vrod for those that understand that comparison .

When they were doing stuff like this 2-3 years ago it was easier to excuse it, I guess Josh hasn't learned yet and is still managing everything himself. I don't think he's ever made a promised shipping date, shit happens and he needs to account for that in his ETA's. Honesty and transparency can go a long way when shit goes south, their fanbase is loyal but only to a point.

I know some people up in Canada who are working on their own version of the Liger in 20mm and 30mm sizes since they're tired of waiting on CCA and they think they can do better. I don't know if they'll be selling it but if they do I'll be sure to have them post about it on FC. Some competition might be good for them, get them to up their game.

I love my 30mm Liger with Obsidian insert and Hurricane dabber, I get loads of flavour off of it and can't imagine using a different one as a daily driver. I just want what's best for the company so they can stick around for the long haul and I can keep buying their products if they continue to improve (my current setup is nirvana though). I wanted to get a Liger Air but decided to wait for at least a real life picture and ideally a review first. Guess I'll keep waiting.

Josh was always outsourcing CCA's manufacturing process to various shops and there were always problems with the lack of consistent quality output (messed up threads, parts with sharp edges sticking out, nipplegate...etc) that caused delays...

He hasn't been sitting in place though. While it doesn't feel like much has changed for us, behind the scenes, he's been going through different manufacturing shops, growing frustrated with them and figuring out that the best, most efficient ways to manufacture Ligers is to make them himself... All that equipment IS NOT cheap, especially considering how little profit CCA currently sees from their products. I'm sure it wasn't easy for Josh to pay for everything.

Even though it doesn't feel like it for us yet, bringing production in-house should be HUGE for shortening their manufacturing times and reducing consistency problems. Give them time to streamline things using that new equipment. I'm very optimistic about their future at this point and am not worried about any current delays as they will only reflect in added quality later.

How are we to believe he's truly doing things in house? He has fed us lies and half truths for so long I don't know what to believe. He tells different people different stories and it's up to us to piece it together.

His latest trick to delay shipping was the logo contest. I'm not even making this up...

On Friday he commented they would be shipping that night...

Did anyone get a MOVING TN#?

So, they missed some deadlines and now it means they lie about everything? :tinfoil:

I just checked mine since you asked and nope. It did take him about 2 weeks to get us the tracking numbers, so i would assume maybe 3 weeks to get it to the post office?

I understand the frustrations with the lies. Sorta hard for anyone to believe otherwise, even Josh himself. At this point, it comes when it does. The tracking picture was just a bad idea on their part and this laser etching is even worse. He shouldnt of even said anything and just do it or not.

At the end, lets just hope he gets it right the first time so we dont have to deal with some other bullshit down the line.

Remember, this isnt a game changer. Its just a lighter version of the 3.0 so you can use it on smaller rigs without the worry of tipping.

IMO. They should have continued to outsource the 3.0s and fulfill orders.while designing and testing and playing with their own shop production line, for the air. Perhaps bad business practices with their outsourcers means now they have to make them in house. Cuz no one can believe their deadlines. What if they pay their bills like they treat customers...

Im not saying this was the reason why but im just speculating that when he started accepting bitcoin as payments it was at all time high then it went down. Im guessing he lost alot of money when he started accepting bitcoin as payment(Not saying bitcoin is bad but it's volatile at the moment) . When you don't have the funds delays tend to happen. Again this is just speculation. Don't take this comment serious.
