Yay my 30mm bundle just shipped! I placed the order on the 12th and it shipped the 23rd. Not super fast but way better than I expected!
I was and still am thinking about getting the Halo but im not a big fan of the style of nail, I prefer banger style. I just got a enail not long ago and it came with a quartz domeless nail that ive been using until i get the Liger. But im getting impatient each day waiting for it and thinking of just pulling the trigger on a Halo, like u said, GET BOTH rightI actually find it to be the opposite...my V2, 20 mm Liger hits like a freight train and clears a dab in one go (if not a stupid sized dab LOL) while my Halo seems to be more gentle and takes a couple of draws to clear the same size dab.
I have found with a K-type thermo that the delta temp between set point and dab surface is less with the Liger (for some obvious design reasons). I definitely run my Halo at a higher set point to partially compensate for their different thermal dynamics, but I still have the same impression I stated above.

I am super excited that he is taking the time to design the cap with me to fit my needs. So far we have the air flow down and it's down to subtle bubble shape and getting the hole positioned.

I can post pics as soon as I get my phone fixed ( later today, had a grilling incident Yesterday). It is neither a mushroom nor a flat style, but a full bubble much like a Christmas ornament. It has a inch long stem that you use to finger guide it and restrict the airflow to your liking, and no nipple at all so it doesn't rest deep in the dish. The air stream it generates is powerful and points where you want it due to the rotation action of the bubble. I intend on running about .5 through it today, so I can report on it's merits.So if no nipple cap, is it still mushroom style cap or flat style cap like the chadbro terp trunk? Can you take pics of the cap you are using that he made?

after 2-3 weeks, my new 20mm Sapphire has a tiny crack on the corner. Not sure if it was due to the nipple on the bottom of the bucket or just really bad luck. But this sucks since there is no more 20mm Sapphire inserts. I did speak with CCA710 support and they will speak to management but he assured me they will take care of me on this. I really hope they have one just laying around. My first ever 30mm sapphire insert crack on in the first 30 mins. Since my replacement 30mm arrived, have not had one issue with it and i use it daily a lot!
As far as replacement vapor buckets, i would assume they have to machine our replacements. I dont mind waiting as i have a 30mm Liger to use as i wait. I only got the 30mm bundle as i wanted a clean looking Liger and got the 20mm bundle as i wanted all sapphire inserts and to try to 20mm Liger.
Even with the issues CCA has with shipping and now QC, as long as they support me and take care of me, i will continue buying their products. But they would be on a short lease. Basically, once i get shafted, i think i would be done with them. But so far, they will eventually come through from my experience.

Man, I am glad that all I had to do was sand off a small manufacturing defect The gear, other than that, has been exactly as advertised. CCA has not, however, responded to me in a week about my pictures and emails covering the nipple defect. I have little doubt that I will see no replacement bucket for the one I had to fix ( with no guarantees that I did fix it and have a optimally functional product).Well that really sucks if there are no more 20mm sapphire inserts. Why was I promised that my chipped one was guaranteed and would be replaced if it ever cracked? Just weeks later and it appears they are already unable to fulfill their guarantee.
I've been going through a huge weeks-long hassle trying to get 2 defective 20mm Liger buckets replaced and a refund for one very defective 20mm Liger. I'm also waiting on full refunds for a very scuffed 20mm sapphire insert and a 20mm obsidian insert with a nipple.
Altogether CCA710 owes me 2 bucket replacements and nearly $500 and I've been waiting weeks without any help. I've written many times and support has assured they "aren't leaving me hanging" and then I don't hear anything for days and have to ask again. All I ever hear is "I sent text messages to the owner and am waiting on a reply".
Finally they did issue 2 refunds, but they were for the wrong items. Essentially they went back through $1500 worth of orders and at least 6 receipts and refunded me for the lowest price obsidian and sapphire inserts I had purchased at the deepest discount, even though I had returned the more expensive inserts well before purchasing the ones on sale. I still have no answer at all on the replacement buckets that have nipples.
CCA has my returned products AND my money and have for weeks without any help. The only thing they've done at all is refund me for the lowest priced inserts I've purchased, robbing me of the biggest discount they could. They even factored out the sapphire insert from the bundle even though I kept the whole bundle including the sapphire insert they included with it. It couldn't get any shadier.

Also, the Liger 4.0 will be flat coil 30mm only so really no need for them to make the 20mm. And for this company to keep spare 20mm sapphire inserts for warranty is just something i do not see planned or spoken about until after the fact.

Well said. We should NOT stand for how they treat people. This forum tends to protect the vendors not the customers. It's time this company was held accountable. Staff should have a sticky at the top of this thread warning people of all the issues so they know. BUYER BEWARE with this company.

I hope your wrong and they do get more 20mm Sapphire inserts, I msged them about a week ago about it and was told that they werent sure when they were getting more 20mm Sapphire but would have 20mm Quartz in a day or two but that hasnt gone up on the site yet and its been well or a day or two.Dam thats rough... I hope they make things right with you. Im waiting on my first Liger and im getting worried with all the negative posts im seeing about the shitty customer service Ive sent a email asking when my order will be shipped since its been over two weeks. I got a response within a few hours but that was just to tell me that it looked like my order was showing unfulfilled and they would check in with the team to see whats going on..... That was over a day ago now should i be worried?
