I was wondering how many of you out there plan to or already have a spare set of back-up batteries for their Carta? I guess it depends on how you plan on utilizing it's size. For me Hiking and otherwise public places so it seems like a no brainer.
@FocusV do you plan on offering/restocking them on your website soon?
It does such a great job at low volts it makes me think these have to be 20a 18350's (if I had to guess.)
There are SO MANY fake 18350's out there and I thought the 18650 market was tainted.
If I read his most recent "best battery: mAh/CDR-mAh balance/CDR" Mooch stated that he won't be putting up the charts for 18350's (and another format that didn't concern me) because of so many fakes and sub-par cells just reappearing over and over with different wraps. To the point that in a different article they said that companies are actually wrapping them with shells that say they have different (always better of course) specs to get rid of stock.
This makes me wonder if I can even trust the only truly reliable sources for high drain batteries these days anyway but that's just me wanting to tinker. As I found with the TUBO that sometimes a battery can make a huge difference in preformance but (and I hope this is ok to ask) I have to ask if you had a specially designed cell made for the Carta similar to how Dyson requested the VTC5A from Sony except wanted a few improvements that lead to the VTC5D. If you can't answer that for secrecy purposes i'm sorry. Just curious cause these little things have a LOT of kick to them, even at low volts.
