Uh oh, why not? I was doing that over the weekend…I would not recommend doing this with the universal carb cap.
I suppose you could, you’re right. The tippiness and where it’s going to land is the fear and worry. Two feeling I try to avoid when relaxing.Uh oh, why not? I was doing that over the weekend…
A little of both I guess. Still figuring out the vrod but for flower I liked 585 with the carb cap. I didn’t wanna scorch the wood so I took the handle off completely and it felt reasonably secure. Not something I’d try with the weedeater. Are you running lower temps or just looking for faster extraction?

The top one is a one hole VRod cap and the bottom one is a showerhead cap I believe. Interesting seeing them available on those euro sites as they have both been long discontinued.
The bottom one is not a showercap. It looks like NV's older model carb cap, older than the showercap.

I believe those were designed to work with 25mm dishes, not the 28mm dish the VRod uses.Would that fit the vrod...?
That’s mine but I haven’t heard anything from CH on it other than asking if they could share it. It’s what got me experimenting with leaving the cap on.Here is an interesting link to an interesting idea that was submitted to CH.

Interesting. Any additional information ?
Wouldn't work with a VRod I guess, but works with the others that don't have the center nut sticking out.I don't understand how that works with a VRod? The center nut is taller than the sides of the dish and that glass cap doesn't seem to have a recessed area in the middle?
