I got a dropdown today so I can use my d020 w my FP (pretty much exactly like your setup @emmdeemo ) just wondering tho if there's any worry putting the FP right into my glass?

Will the hot/expanding Ti mess up my glass without an adapter? Will I still be able to empty the bowl? :0

I don't want to use a lot of adapters and etc if it can be avoided.

Mine gets stuck a bunch but I dont use the d020 for anything else so not a problem. If the Showerhead is switched on, and it usually is, its just a few seconds on the bowl and the bowl is loosened up. Some times takes a little wiggle to get it out but I've only bent the handle slightly once so far.

Also I dont keep the Showerhead left on the bowl inbetween draws. Its habit now that the moment I stop inhaling, the carb cap goes on its stand and the Showerhead get put on the stand immediately.

Basically, so far I'm not seeing any cracking or anything like that, but at least with a drop down, youre only risking the drop down itself.

What dropdown did you get? The one I got in sig isnt quite perfect, one angle is slightly wrong so the reclaim doesnt quite run the right way without a bit of help

I actually bought some pretty shitty used one from a dude on reddit. After receiving it and looking at it in person, the weld (the one that goes into my F joint on the waterpipe....) is actually not good at all. I got it with some other adapters for a few bucks though so not complaining.... Just noted I'd be able to use the d020 without putting the bowl directly in there now and it's def interesting using the FP thru another piece. The d-cycler is fucking LOUD and chuggy so it's nice to use something quiet and relatively tame with the bubbles etc in comparison...

But yeah, not keen on this dropdown. It's a 14mm f to m so a big pain in the dick to use with a 18mm F piece and a 18mm male FP, but luckily I got a nice, compact 14mm male to 18mm female piece.

Not sure what I'll do... Probably go back to the d-cycler and just get a 18mm f to m dropdown that isn't crap in anticipation for when my FC-UFO arrives... but I'm gonna tear up the d020 a bit more. It's surprisingly smoother in comparison but idk if it's the dropdown giving me extra space or what.

But for driving the SH you should have all essentials - if you already have a controller with 20 mm coil.

I like the plant as much as the next guy but I also know FC has rules for a reason. I also have a tendency not to follow rules, rules are there to be broken so I am with you on that. I only want to support the idea of FC and the users by informing my pals when we scribble out of the lines, like we all do at times.

I only pointed out that someone pissed in the pool a little bit, but it is always just a little bit.

If this were my website I would get rid of all the rules I could. It would be the wild west. It's probably why I would fail too.

While the rules may be strict , it's what keeps this forum on topic. I have noticed other sites ( not naming names ) without strict rules and to get any serious information it is like pulling teeth. I know i can be a rule breaker myself but i'm happy Fc is enforced as its what makes this community great and the difference between seeing children rambling and a informative post made by somebody that is well educated or least trying.

Happy Friday All. Figured i'd report as i been going back and fourth between using the Showerhead and the Wrap around dish with my Dnail Sic Halo all week , everynight after work. I gotta say i love them both almost equally. The Sh definitely has the better airflow , id say maybe 10% better , it is not a huge difference to me. Both milk glass with ease and a 5-10 minute preheat before hitting seems to be working best for me. Sh drops a bit more temp on my enail while hitting vs the Wrap around but its not much at all , i'm guessing it is due to the airflow being more free flowing. Took my 1st dab off the ti Sh and it was quite nice around 640F , the Sic has the edge in the flavor department for sure. I jut cant figure out what i like better as they both work so well , i'm gonna try and keep alternating them as much as i can and report back , Enjoy everyone .

...the longer dab tools with the lolli cap are amazing! no heat at all on the handle compared to the stubby... i can leave my cap on with the longer handle/dab tool and not worry about it being too hot to touch after...

...actually surprised on how little heat compared to the short handle...



...also my 20mm auber coil fits well with my 20mm setup....

As a resident of Boynton Beach, I can attest that there are issues here post-Irma. Power has barely returned to the city. Last time I drove by the post office it was still closed. Have faith - NewVape will make sure its right, they always do!

It's pretty rough out there at the moment , i have family in Delray , not to far . They still have no power , hotels are all booked and they have resorted to staying at a friends as its been to hot without Ac to stay at home. A local hospital had 8 people die from heat exhaustion , not sure why this happened when there was a hospital across the street with power they could have been transferred to , so i heard. Hoping for things to get back in order shortly , good luck FL , prayers are with everyone.

I don't know how anyone could not love this company. It takes everyone else 2-3 years to re-coup R&D and tooling costs to make any revisions, and even then, good luck seeing the improvements you've been wishing for. Not NewVape. Absolutely crushing speed to market perceptions in this industry.

The latest generation of wrap-around heads solve the issue of using a 3 wrap 20mm coil. Additionally the coil cover should function as a washer. I currently have no 3 wrap spacer washers planned for production. Was there another purpose for the washer?
