I would like to see a more robust handle at least as an option. I do agree about protecting the glass and Id be okay with a "Use at your own risk" type of thing. I have the shorty dabber in that hole now. Works great!!

What Im more interested in is a new cap design that dissipates heat better. The FP heats up the cap very quickly. Even my Dnail cap gets super hot, super fast. Some kind of dissipation between cap and the dabber would probably help a lot. Some kind of skeleton piece to dissipate the heat.

yeah the cap gets hot as shit pretty quick. you can't feather that hole with your finger for the entire length if you take a big dab cos it gets too hot.

the longer dabber on the showercap helped the issue where the stick got too hot for me to take the cap off.

as of right now I'm still usually just taking that entire adapter off when dumping my bowl lol but I wouldn't mind a "at your own discretion" type thing.

And @NewVape710 just wanna confirm new bowls(w notches) are being shipped? I actually may think I'll stick with my current for a bit longer in hopes of more upgrades, but just curious. Getting ready to pull the trigger on a fine grinder.

I'd like to discuss the existing "BreakAway Handle".

I've ordered some black high temp silicone hose to begin making some solid handles for testing. https://www.mcmaster.com/#51135K152

Currently we have had 3 broken handles out of 300 sold.

Yes i've bent mine before and I do realize there weak around the cross holes.

Is it possible this weakness is actually beneficial to protecting the glass.

Sure removing the cross holes and adding silicone would strengthen the handle and I'm sure we will never hear about a broken handle again. There's a limit to how much leverage the glass joints will endure before they start snapping.

Are we moving the stress to the glass (Protecting the glass is always most important)?

I wish I could admit that this breakaway feature was intended.

Please consider the benefits of the breakaway handle next time you hand someone your flowerpot.

Perhaps a solid/silicone handle should be sold separately but not sold as the default choice.

Have not had the chance to post in a while , did a lot of Irma clean up today , mostly in my backyard it is filled with Oak tress which are weak AF any winds is a problem but strong winds forget it .My pool looked like the black lagoon ended up having to jump in and dive to the bottom 10 ft with the net to get half the shit out. I had fucking like 50 lb. branches in that motherfucker .Anyways I knocked out most of it today so tomorrow should be easier . Could have been a lot worst never lost power, but our internet/cable went out and my kids thought they would die lol...Its back now so they are happy. Thankful that my family is better off tonight than a lot of others in the state.Anyways got some Golden Lemons on deck.Watching 24/7 Canelo vs GGG.

I actually have worse burns from my torch/banger days. I only got a tiny tiny bit of the top layer of skin on my pinky last week!

I'm actually dropping my temps... like a lot (almost 100 below where I started!) and now I can see where you'd wanna use the showercap for flowers. Bowls last a little longer, but it is a bit easier on me........ not as fun though......

Those 1hit herb rips that leave my chest numb for like 3minutes afterwords are just awesome, I'm abusing this thing way too much.

yes we reworked all the handle bowls with a single grove. They have been shipping for around a week.

cheers, the SS screens I've found and am currently using seem to wedge themselves and I never have issues with them falling out, so I'll wait and see what happens with future bowl design... will probably go for the finegrinder soon tho!

I find he weakness beneficial , i don't know how many times my self or friends have grabbed that handle hard off my glass to get it out after a long session , sometimes the bowl can get a bit warm and expand in my glass joint making it a bit harder to get out until a cool down , while i have yet to break a handle though. Taking out the holes in the handle should definitely strengthen it , users have to just be careful like with any glass. I have one with some silicone tubing over the handle that has been working well from the original solid handle that you had made me. I will admit though , i did like your wood on the handle idea. Man I keep doing the exact same thing. Except maybe with a few more "get stoned" wildcards in there.

Its looking like I have a friend coming over tomorrow who is very likely to be completely converted to the FP. All he's been using for years is an Iolite vape, the original and then a wispr.

If he's not converted, I will be publicly shaming him.
