SEARCH for the treasure...
Well, fill me in cause I'm confused. I may simply be dense, but I would like the answer to this. (I'm coming from a showerhead, which, btw, I love.) I like the concept of the B1. So, do I need to just buy the nut, diffuser & bottom bowl assembly (as I, naturally, already have the pid & coil) OR do I will I still need to purchase a separate head part?

I had the original WeedEater, evidently you can just buy by the B1 bowl assembly (the bottom part), but there is NO dedicated groove for the screen needed to keep the balls in, on the OG nut. Some have jammed a screen into the old top nut from what I’ve read in thIs thread. The newer B1 top NUT came with a screen installed in its groove. I decided to get the COMPLETE B1, top and bottom. I don’t know anything about B2 compatibility.

@RustyOldNail , I only need to buy the $66 assembly, or am I still being dense? Pic from someone of the separated parts that make up the B1, laid out the order that they are screwed together, would be welcome. :)

It’s the same as a WeedEater. The bottom is the mass of metal with male threads. The top is just a NUT, with female grooves. The new B1 nut, simply has a groove at the top of the threads, that holds a screen.

What's your draw strength like? At 630 I'm ripping hard to cool the air down, but I'm still combusting after just like a 4 second hit. Going slower will heat it up even more right?
I draw slow for like one second until I see some visible vapor form and then I rip it like I've never ripped it before.

I've had my Flowerpot for 3 years now? I've come close but never combusted... Yet.

Edit: I think I read the original post wrong. I read "B2" instead of "v2." I also have the OG Baller.

I have owned a FlowerPot Showerhead since 11/2017. The ShowerHead is a beast with my flower and I love it so much. I don't dab on it much anymore, but I loved double deckers when I first got it. For dabs, I have a Peak Pro. With my Showerhead and NewVape Controller, I run 575 and am really happy with the taste and how it hits my asthma.

Now you have the Baller Vrod. My understanding with the Balls is I can turn the temperature down? Will the Vrod Baller let me go lower than 575? How low with an even constant draw? For low temp dabs, will the Sapphire dish or SIC dish perform better?

It will be here... ... TOMORROW!
I have a few tiny cups of fine ground herb, so fine like gunpowder.
.1 g .15g and .5g

Water piece is clean.
Will a herborizor glass bowl work? The only option was ti bowl. I got that one.

I have read a lot of this thread.

I guess I ordered a baller nut, some rubies, and the B-2 diffuser for my VROD last night. I had a few drinks and was talking to a friend I had given my old Pax 2 to. I told him several times to get a WPA for it and he never did. Last night I do recall him asking me about finally getting one and where to get it. This morning I saw an order with the baller stuff and the Pax 2 WPA had shipped. I had been on the fence but last night delta hotel thought it was time to get off the fence it seems.

I had been considering the B-1 as a contrast to my VROD, but I ended up ordering the stuff to make my VROD a B-2. Any comparisons on them (B-1 to B-2)? I use the VROD low and slow but was considering the B-1, to snap bowls with, but I'm sure the B-2 does it well too. Looking for anyone who might have experience with both.

I'm hoping I like it with the baller nut uncapped, though I suspect I will. I don't wanna have to buy another carb cap to fit the new nut, though I guess just using a screen to hold the balls without the new nut would allow me to use the old carb cap if I feel it's necessary.

Get the screen/nut/diffuser combo along with some rubies and you will be good to go. You can use the same bowl that you use with your shower head.

The B-2 is great. You could have saved a bit by going the B-1 route but I find they both function just as well. Maybe the B-1 hits a bit harder for what ever reason. Both B-1 and B-2 milk up glass for me at 575. I could probably go a bit lower if purely looking for flavor. I’d definitely save the VRod for Dabs and use your current cap. I’d reserve the B-2 for flower and the new deuce cap is not necessary unless you are a collector or want to dab with your B-2. I’ve only been using the B-1. It feels like a more elegant device for flower only. Lastly, I would recommend an extra coil if you think you might want to flip back and forth from B-2 to VRod. All those balls get to be a bit much swapping back and forth.

@Bad Dog what up dog! Good morning.

The B1 has no problems and works great? All I would have to buy is the B1 and rubies?
I am in no rush, the Weedeater should be here TODAY!

If you have a complete FP setup already you could just buy the B-1 head and be good to go. No parts from the WE head cans be used to make a B-1 except for the top piece but you have to jimmy a screen in there. I would recommend getting a complete B-1 head and grab the 3mm rubies and start the comparisons. I certain you will like the B-1 better.

I thought buying the B-2 would be cheaper, as I already owned a VROD and do not own a Weedeater. Though, my original plan was to buy the B-1, intoxicated me bought the B-2 to save money as far as I can tell.

Looking now, the missing piece to make it a B-1 isn't that much, but I'll likely find the setup I like and just leave it, I don't plan on swapping back and forth. With that said I hate having a bunch of unused hardware or pieces laying around I know I won't use. All for science though.

Carb Cap! Get your Deuce Carb Caps!

Well I did. These should also work great for those that have a VRod and and use a cap but don’t care for the Universal Cap. My OG VRod caps look very similar and have brought me a lot of pleasure….if a carb cap can do such a thing.

If you ordered it today, talk to them in the morning. They should be able to add it to your order if it hasn’t shipped yet. You could also order it now and just ask them to combine the orders. :)

so it should work with Vrod and B1 as well?

I’ve played around with my OG cap on the B-1. It has to be held in place and it didn’t improve performance. It also doesn’t improve performance with the B-2 when only using flower. It should improve flower performance with the VRod especially when using lower temps. The new cap should also work well for dabbing with the the VRod as well as the B-2.

Funny, I was waiting until they had these in stock to order the B-2 with a screen, but looks like B-2 screen part is no longer available by itself. Only in packages with SIC or Sapphire (no option for neither) and with ball options (again, no option for none). Ugh. Looks like I'll be ringing them in the morning...

ITS HERE !

It took a few minutes and reading the whole manual for the controller.
I plugged it in, turned it on and let it heat up. It was on 300 I was not sure F or C..
I turned the knob with no success back to 300*f
I pushed in and turned.....
So I read the manual, and reset all the parameters.
Now we have 666*

I put .1 g of Ice cream something.
Heater on,, Draw.......
Nothing. Bud still green, no clouds in piece.
Check with infrared thermometer. About 200* less than on the box.
I know its the temp AT the coil.
SO, turn it up 50, try again...again.... Up to 899*. Nothing. Green bud in the bowl.

Then I stopped drawing and hit it a little bit. BINGO! MILK.
Still @ 899, so when I pulled the bowl off, I had a couple little sparklers. Cleaned everything, start over,

Back to 710 for now. Working as it should, just a learning curve for me.

I am amazed, its all they said.

Looking at the small stand, the bowl will sit in it, so I am getting another post and adding it to my base. I will drill the hole in deep so the post is shorter than the center one.

My shovelhead had a real loose set screw, the threads are about 30% contact. The little handle wiggles all over.

I was thinking about the B 1 head. I am fine for now. The best improvement is to learn to use it.

Carb cap makes a difference @ 710. Bigger clouds. I used a piece of silicone and had to pull the edge up a little to let some air in., so I need a cap with a small hole in it. Probably calls for some research tonight.

I added an ash catcher so I could see the vapor for draw speed.

Looking for a glass bowl. ,880 max OD.

Man there's such a delicate fine line between a great milky hit and combustion with the baller head LOL. I have combusted more in the last week then my entire career vaping. It's been fun but you really can't hit it for longer than like 4 seconds without combustion. And I'm ripping haaard to keep it somewhat cool.

Hopefully going to dial it in to no more combusting
