Mine is also an even gold compared to the spectrum the SH had.
My SH stayed gold for quite some time at these lower temps. I ended up taking it apart and taking a torch to it for a splash of colour.

Hey @biohacker I was in that exact position and opted with the SH simply as it's been proven and as it's quite an investment for me so I wanted something that I knew was going to work well
Of course you should! Who better to give a proper head-to-head comparison then our very own @biohacker !Wait a sec, @JCat I probably should get both right!?
Now that is being literal!head-to-head comparison then our very own @biohacker !
I had the SH before so know what to expect, but this talk that @invertedisdead has brought up with the Vrod being smoother than the SH has piqued my curiosity even more as i'm sensitive to convection heat, so any little bit would help. Plus, the chances are high that i'll sell it, and the Vrod will definitely be better for re-sale. Wait a sec, @JCat I probably should get both right!?

I really like it too... for extra fine grind, which I’m doing quite often recently, I grind upside down, and break buds to trim away stems...What grinder is that? I dig that grind
The more head the better!

Well, I'm not going to try to talk you out of it this time, brother.Father's Day?

Hello good day. I say- I hope you can try one out as has been proposed by some members who could possibly drop by the pool? That would be a nice way for you to get an accurate feel for the Flowerpot to see how comfortable and practical its use might be for you.Father's Day?

I'll have both in the house as of tomorrow. I never made it to the post office so my VROD arrives tomorrow morning.
Good question, I have a feeling @emmdeemo 's unit may have shipped pre-v2 though(?)Sweet, v2?
Anybody compared the VROD while only consuming concentrates, to the stock DNAIL dishes with their slim series base?
Any positive/negative noticeable or effective airflow differences?
