400s...??? I really need to keep trying... I went all the way down to 450s but it was pooling too much in the SiC dish, even capping.
I’m using homemade rosin, pressed from cold extracted BlackBerry Kush...

If you're getting too much pooling, your dab is too big for the temperature. Surely you will have multiple hits at this time, but the point is that vapour is still very well produced, and has some incredible taste - and effects (for my girl, I personally need the upper temps to FEEL it). Pooling has always been a function of dab size vs temperature for me, and a non-issue with SiC.

Agreed with higher temps, I turned it down the other day and hardly felt anything

I'm loving the VROD for flower, still too early to have much of an opinion but I feel like maybe the vapor is a bit smoother than the SH, possibly from these low temps? 615 capped is getting some thick vapor with pretty damn even extraction. I'm not spinning the cap. Also the new cap makes a beautiful bell-like harmonic ring when I take it off lol, super zen :peace:

I have both 14mm and 18mm glass bongs from DHgate... so I will probably go with an 18mm male bowl.

Solid package, can't see how you could really go wrong with it. Doesn't really seem any cheaper than ordering everything through Newvape though. I would add the coil cover and skip the carb cap if you only plan to use flowers.

As for glass vs ti bowls, if going glass, I'd definitely pick up more than one. The last thing you want is to be dead in the water cause your bowl broke. IMO for that reason it's nice to have both. Also with two bowls I can basically get two sessions going at once and just pass the heater around like a lighter.

Keep in mind that 18mm glass easily reduces down to 14mm, but to go the other way is a bit clunky. For that reason I tend to divert to suggesting 14mm for anyone with both glass sizes. Also with the pan/shovelhead, you could get the 14mm and 18mm posts and run both sizes that way.

@newvape918 I wonder if this was done with the vrods out in the wild? Could this be the reason the edges brown more than the center and it seems to get stuck on the post more?
