Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
Right? God forbid. The people make an enormous amount of medicine that can help a lot of people. But the state didn't get their cut, so let's destroy it and make everyone suffer. And then prance around about how proud and holy they are.

I was wondering how they thought they could keep a grow like that "secret" in Cali of all places.

Lived there years ago and they seemed to have more LEO helicopters than any other place I've called home.

Plus, it wasn't the forested areas of NorCal, where you at least have a chance of being stealthy.

Funny, that it was the smell that did them in...

Oh yeah...and fuck The Man...

After Eight Years And Three Reviews Of The Case, Indiana Supreme Court Rules Police Must Return Seized Car To Its Owner

The state and its law enforcement agencies are now subject to a proportionality test that weighs the severity of the crime against the value of the items seized. If this test stands during criminal asset forfeiture -- the seizures accompanying actual criminal charges -- it needs to be applied to cases where law enforcement can't even be bothered to affect an arrest, much less pursue criminal charges when seizing property. This is good news for Indiana residents. And it has the potential to disrupt forfeiture efforts nationwide.

Evidence lost in case of soldier accused of feeding cannabis-laced cupcakes to gunners, lawyer says

Evidence in a bizarre case of a Canadian soldier accused of drugging comrades with marijuana-laced cupcakes was lost by military police, says the soldier's lawyer — who accuses the Department of National Defence of conducting a sloppy, incompetent investigation.

Bombardier Chelsea Cogswell's military trial is slated to start next month. It's believed to be the first of its kind.

She faces 18 charges, including administering a noxious substance to eight soldiers without their consent in July 2018 at CFB Gagetown. At the time, the soldiers were taking part in a live-fire exercise involving explosives and weapons drills.

CBC News has obtained a copy of a court application filed by Cogswell's lawyer Ian Kasper. In it, Kasper argues the military should throw out evidence of traces of THC — the main psychoactive compound in cannabis — gathered from one cupcake wrapper because the other cupcake wrappers were lost and never tested.

"The chain of command and the military police did not preserve all the wrappers for further investigation," Kasper wrote in the application. "The loss of such important evidence was the result of incompetence.

"The chain of command's loss of the cupcake wrappers was so shockingly negligent as to constitute an abuse of process.".......

.........Cogswell's unusual case made headlines around the world. The Department of National Defence has said it's believed to be the first case of a soldier charged with feeding marijuana to colleagues without their consent.

Cogswell's mother told CBC News strangers have bombarded her with hate messages online and she found her vehicle keyed in her driveway on one occasion.......

'Loopy, anxious and paranoid'

At the time of the incident on July 21, 2018, Cogswell was working at a mobile canteen at the army's combat training centre in New Brunswick, according to court martial documents.

Cogswell offered some troops from the gun detachment free cupcakes she had baked that she said contained coconut oil and avocados, according to the document. At least nine soldiers ate the cupcakes; within an hour, some described feeling "high," the court martial documents said.

"They variously described feeling tired, exhausted, loopy, anxious and paranoid," said Kasper's court document. "Others, however, believed they were dehydrated or were suffering heat exhaustion."

Citing safety concerns, the military called off the live fire training exercise on that hot summer day and loaded those affected into an air-conditioned truck for assessment. A medical technician on scene ruled out heat injuries, according to the documents.

The commanding officer called in military police to investigate the possibility that "the members of the artillery school were suffering from mind-altering drugs while on a live fire exercise,"

We are in the middle of a backlash against cannabis legalization. A lot of articles are coming out with the same old tropes: today's marijuana is different from before and much stronger, so we um, need to research it. Marijuana is actually much worse for you than people think. Burning marijuana creates chemicals similar to tobacco smoke, so it's probably dangerous... We're just asking questions, now, but what will the long term effects of ..... marijuana might be laced with fentanyl, yatta yatta. Buckle up.

I'm sure it's possible there's fentanyl laced weed on the black market. Though I'd have to question, why? Cartels are in the habit of giving away free drugs? No, I think they'd want to be paid for both the weed AND the fentanyl.

"Fentanyl laced_____" is the cop version of Havana Syndrome. And the media just unquestionably prints it. Cuz cops would never lie. After that deadly Travis Scott concert some cop said he got hit with a fentanyl needle. Nah, bro. Your heart felt like it was about to explode because you had to run for a hundred yards.

I think it's probably cross contamination, the same individuals selling/handling multiple drugs. It doesn't take much fentanyl or even stronger opioids to OD.

Scientists at the DFS found the synthetic drugs during a routine study of used syringes in September and October, The Washington Post reported. The opioids — called protonitazene and isotonitazene — were found to be several times more potent than fentanyl.

While the drugs are not new compounds, the scientist who discovered the first known sample of protonitazene in D.C., Alexandra Evans, told WTOP that it's the first time the opioid has appeared in the District's drug supply.

If "the authorities" gave a shit they'd push for legalization and cheap prices. Sell it at grocery stores next to the other produce. Never heard of fentanyl laced tomatoes.

Experts discovered the item, found on a platform, was actually a cannabis grinder in the shape of a grenade.
Commuters were allowed back in at about 16:40

Yeah, 20 minutes after the team celebrated the discovery!

Also, these customs officials look to be having a Good Year!:disgust::cuss:
