I would try the coarse plate for the Bowle....you may like it...... basically the medium is just perfect for these Milaana/Splinter's basket screen...these screens never gets cloged...also the DV works great with the medium....

I actually like to use the fine with RBT stuff a lot, and with my Tetra too, a bit more consistent, more even extraction, thick flavorful clouds... Also depends so much on the herbs, yeah I'll get coarse someday too!

@RustyOldNail another good point, though if I'm going to sell a grinder it's going to be my SCS and SLX finally, not the precious BCGs!

ofcourse you are, the basket screen never clogs!! it's a miracle
and as it goes finer the grind... higher the vapor production....now i think i'll get the fine plate too..... just for exploring...
i wish the Lotus had something like this, which never clogs haha

Haha nice yeah, grinding upside down you can get a fine grind with anything really though, like to get a truly fine grind I tend to turn my aquamarine upside down anyway, I mean I often start upside down regardless for overall ground material consistency...

I am so lazy about changing and cleaning screens, often just start using a new one in a different stem or a different vape lol

I just added two tops and bottoms to my large set order, so now I will have three complete grinders with three different grinding plates rather than one grinder with three plates. I know, I'm fucking insane, it's probably not adviseable, but I wanted it this way. XD

Yep, I just emailed them and asked if I could add the plates so I can get three complete grinders and they said sure. I believe they mentioned it's 50 per plate, not bad!

Oh les.. Pain in my you know what.. In fairness you have a point.
Diameter measures 2 5/8ths inches. If you compare it to a smaller Ball Jar lid its roughly the same size give or take a hundredth.

Just pulled the trigger. Hematite top and bottom and gold grind plate, course and medium plate. I got the big boy too, not because I need the capacity but my hands are becoming more fckd each month that passes and it will be nice to hold. I'll be glad to be rid of my GR8TR.

I thought about that but I'll only have two plates, if the one on there ain't what I want, I don't have many options.

I went with amethyst top and bottom and different colors for the plates, and now I can readily identify the sapphire medium plate which is the only one I ever use.

The brilliant cut set I saw had the grind plates in felt bags that were labeled fine, medium, course, and they had a larger one that could hold the grinder. Maybe that was some kind of separate accessory?

My smaller version came actually as you described. But I have had it awhile now, but I would assume they still ship that way, I did however buy the complete set, and ordered the large set.

Roger that! Hopefully they are still doing that with the large version. I haven't decided on getting one yet, but if I do I will probably end up with a complete set all in one color.

If there aren't any bags I'll just make my own. I have more than a few sandwich bags and sharpies in my life.

@RustyOldNail when my XL BCG came there were no small felt bags included for the plates like with the standard
