Best Party/Festival-Vape

Hi folks, after browsing this forum for a long time, I've made myself an account here cause I need some advice. I am running on a dynavap right now (Silversurfer with glassballs @home) and love this thing but some days ago, a good friend of mine had his birthday a few days ago, we've brought some PA equipent (since this is what we do for living) and did a small private party which was where I realized a big problem of the unit: Bass. Or better said lots of bass since the click isnt anything you could rely on, when you listen to loud music.
Long story short: I need a secondary device which is compatible to my bassy profession.

So the criteria are:
-It has to be easy to use in a loud Environment and (unlike the dyna) should not be able to scorch herbs. -it should be kinda durable, when you help some hippies building a festival, things ocassionally drop.
-Changeable batteries would be great, because nights are long :D
-Taste and Efficiency (good friend of mine just bought a BL Unit and that was where I realized that through using Dynavap, my big brother's Crafty and a glass ball filled Silversurfer until now, my standards are kinda set high :D)
-Price, just because we've just invested into some PA pieces which were sold because of Corona, had the deals of my live but now my money is empty, maybee something for 150€ or max 200€
-I live in europe, so ordering from canada/america is kinda expensive.

So I got some options and questions to each, if there is someone who owns them:
-Dynavap Induction Heater: Would be an option, I just need to know, if there is one that stops/tells me, if the click is reached or maybee one with a build in temperature meter/display.
-Boundless Tera (with arizer stem/J-hook/etc.) Well it looks like it ticks all the boxes and the vapezone revew sounds promissing, seen a teardown of the V3, looks non-dangerous but well, is it good? How does it compare to something like a Dyna, how does it taste, how does it hit?
-510 Mods (Splinter, Stempod OG/Si TuboX etc. ) A good frind of mine has an collection of 510 thingys and allready offered me a good one for like 20 bucks so that would also be an option, Ive heard those hit like trucks, can someone confirm that? Since the Splinter looks fragile, I may opt for the Stempod OG or the Si variation but there aren't many good reviews for those. Are they good or is Splinter the one and only good 510 mod? And is the Splinter really that fragile and what's up with the Mica thing?
EDIT:The Dreamwood also looks pretty, being like an mixture of stempod and Splinter. Does anyone own it, how does it fare compared to similar devices?
-Argo: Read enough about it, looks ok but I've heard it's not that efficient
Other: Maybee you've got an device that I didn't find/mention, if so tell me about it!
Read about the Tinymight yesterday, it looks like heaven but 250$ right now is out of reach, is there an offer for 200 and is it even worth the hype? :D

So well, I hope you can help me deciding and look forward to your comments! Thanks in advance!

If you already own the crafty you will have a hard time finding something better for your use....

Dreamwood could be another 510 option

if you
don t mind using a torch, sticky brick could be nice...

No, sadly the crafty belongs to my big brother and it wouldn't be an option since the non changeable battery is shite :D
But the Dreamwood looks solid, how is it, do you have an option for temperature control? Judged by the looks there is no inner non replaceable glass fitting piece like with the splinter or am I missin something? Will edit it into the starting post, gosh, the zebrano version looks rad, thanks mate!
Bricks look cool but I don't really think, ripping one of those fellas out on a dancefloor is a good Idea :D

Have a look at the dreamwood glow thread. I don’t own one myself.
Good luck for your search

I don't worry about the click with my Dynavaps. Heat for a 5 count with my torch and inhale. If it's not hot enough just heat for another 3 count. Adjust your count as needed for your gear and preferences. I've found I always count when using my DVs now, even when I'm in quiet environments.

Good job researching your options.

Vapcaps are awesome and super efficient but they do have their limitations. Both battery powered and plug-in induction heaters make a solid addition to your home life but the portable IH I prefer (the Flux Deluxe) has a long wait and with three 18650 cells in an aluminum enclosure it's too bulky for pocket carry.

When you can afford it the Tinymight really does fit your use case splendidly. The only caveat is that unlike some more rugged/portable session vapes you'd be really upset if you shared it with someone and they dropped it.

The Tera would also be too bulky for a jeans pocket for me but you're right that it fits the bill. Troy says the Tera shines with water and you could always get a bubbler for home if you don't have one. Hit for hit the Tinymight, Splinter, and other 510 devices surpass the older electric session vapes that previously dominated the landscape.

I might have more Splinters than anyone on FC and I recommend them on the regular but they are fragile and you'd need to carry the stem separately so I wouldn't recommend that for you either.

A Fury Edge and a small power bank would maybe serve but the vapor quality wouldn't approach the on demand convection options.

I guess a Glow is a solid way to get Splinter-like vapor quality without the glass joint but on demand 510 vapes take a bit more technique so sharing will take more effort and you'll still have to carry the stem, vape, and stash in a little case rather than just a loaded vape and a stash like with your vapcap.

Haha, the video doesn't play but the thing on the pic looks like I could sneak it into a rig without nobody ever noticing it besides the people who see "that maniac over there, smoking his Soundsystem" :D

Wow, thanks for the writeup, well, carrying everything around is no deal, since I allways have a belly pouch with me, yeah, i'm kinda salivating on the tinymight but right now, I just can't go 50€ higher.
IK you cant do that with the splinter but the Stempod SI and the Glowwood should run on an tc mode, if you run those with the right coils (for example clapton or StainlessSteel) if so, doesnt that make them essentially capped and less able to perform mistakes on? (that means can I pass it without explaining rocket science to another person and isn't that just what a tinymight does without the bowl adjustment and better cooling unit? ) :D

Well the thing with the Tinymight and the strive for on demand convection made me kinda boil it down, to some cheaper options, since I kinda wanna save up for the TM (it just ticks all the boxes) so my options right now are:
-Stempod SI, cause it is a steal for the price (just dont know where to order it, since its out of stock everywhere in germany)
-Dreamwood since its aviable in gemany :D
-Tera bc it's looking like the least hustle (and with some reviews saying, it's got an Desktop-esque Performance with stem Mods so well)
-Vleaf Go this thing makes bold claims and reviews seem to back it all from a company that has a good reputation for customer support, am I dreaming or where is the drawback?
If nobody comes out of the blue with an even better option (like for example a splinter with Stainless Steel bowl instead of glass), what do you think, which of those options does fit my bill the best?

For the 510 box, some good friend of mine would give me an allmost new Wismec P80 for 15, would that one be good or should I look for something else?

The counting method for the dyna is nice, tried it, made sense thanks but counting in front of a really loud Soundsystem is worse than someone counting against you :D

Sadly it's my brother's crafty so that doesn't work :D

There are a couple on yt :).
The TM is totally worth its price. You wont regret it,this vape is build to last :). I vape only trough water and this is the only vaporizer i can handle in direct draw. The cooling units are very thoughtfull, i dont think there is any other stem on any vape that provides cooler vapor at that length, maybe only the nub is a contender but i havent tried it.
The MUSA510 is another interesting coil atomizer ,it uses arizer stems. Might worth checking :).

My favourite option for these things is the Argo because its tiny powerful has long battery life and with the included pouch you can carry two extra batteries.

Also sounds great but I think I'm sold on either an 510 variant or the Tera, those sound like the thing, I'm looking for, the Musa looks cool (especially since my old internet pseudo was Mansa Musa) but its sold out like everywhere (like the Stempods in Germany) and a little expensive:D

Sorry for the Doublepost, but it's too late for editing and there are news, tried a Tera today (the friend of mine, who initially recomendet me the Tera), just got his today (with an argo stem) isoed everything, performed some dry burns but the plastic taste is so mean, my friend doesn't mind it (which freaks me out even more, am I THAT spoiled?), so everyone is happy, I didn't buy a vape I couldn't use and he likes his new big portable. But that kinda leaves me with the 510's and the Tinymight. Since the TM is still outta range, which 510 Mod aviable in europe (livin in Germany) is best for using with Temp control Settings? Especially with wood based units (had a pipe once, cleaned it like a madman, and still it smells like satan's anus) I am really worried about combustion and dont want something like a cruise mode but kinda like autofire, set a maximum temp, hit the button, coil goes to said temp, inhale and not think to much about it (like an semi failsave pass/party mode). The Dreamwood thread doesn't recomendet doing that (while on reddit someone mentioned using a DNA75c which has exactly that temp cap function and he seems to enjoy it, but those are kinda expensive, so has anybody tried that out? Also I've heard, the Tubo Software can do that as well, is that the case and is it good without a Tubo?)
Winding the coils is not a problem since I know someone working at an e cig shop, who can teach me winding exactly what I want.
The Mistvape Lineup (Impcognito with the recessed 510 also looks extremely rad and portable) claims, it's TC-capable out of the box (with the Arctic Fox settings on the webpage) , so it feels like this tiny fella would be a thing but looking at it it just looks like the Glow but easier to burn the wood, I don't know :D Stempod would be like the wood free option but I don't know about International shipping since last time my package was stuck 4 weeks @ the customs office and afterwards I had to pay like 80€ tolls for the anti-Service)
Argo sounds like a fancy little thing but it being a conductor isnt 100%ly the thing I want but yeah, for discreeteness it looks pretty unbeatable, but right now I am way too much "in love" with my "capped on demand convection"-fantasy :D

And all of that paired with my kinda non existing practical 510 Mod experience leads me to the question: Which 510 Convector would you recomend, that suits my "needs" best?

I really appreciate your attention to these details and I think you continue to describe your landscape of options really well. That said, I think you should just wait and save up for the Tinymight.

I think your experience with the Tetra (too plasticky and inadequate flavor) is evidence that you wouldn't enjoy a session vape like the Fury Edge.

All the 510 heaters are too fiddly and inconsistent for the use you describe. One alternative to consider for your fanny pack portability is a Milaana 3 with a wooden stem for vaping away from home. You're in Germany though so you can't get it shipped I guess.

If you're an ecig/juice vaper then maybe you won't mind rebuilding coils, tweaking box mod settings, experiencing varied performance as your battery drains, and maybe scorching your herb if you share with someone less experienced. But it's still a clunky setup for outdoor/portable applications.

Oh and to answer your earlier question: a Wismec P80 for $15 is a fine choice for any of the 510 options. I'd lean toward the Glow over the StemPod, but overall the 510 lineup involves configuration to get it dialed in as well as at least a bit of technique to get consistently good hits.

Perhaps my strongest praise for the Tinymight is that you can enjoy hits comparable to my Splinters on scarce DNA mods but with no more effort than setting the dial to 5 and holding the button down. All 510 heaters aspire to be so easy but it's not in their nature since you're on your own to pair the heater with a mod, firmware, and cells that all effect performance.

No, not the Tetra, the Tera is the culprit! The tetra looks exactly lke what I need but it has glass and a high pricetag so well...
Yeah, feels like that the Tinymight is my only real option (if noone comes to tell me, that the TC Mode on the Imp or Impcognito kills it :D , like I've said, rebuilding a coil 99%ly shouldn't be a problem and all the tinkering comes with the benefit of longetivity, which really is a thing I like) right now I am affraid that I'll get paranoid carrying a 250$ device around on partys, haha damn I allmost feel bad as hard as it feels to statisfy me right now but well, will ask the ppl over @the impcognito thread because if it would work with an "autofire" (which even mistvape claims) it would be just perfect, meaning no glass, recessed if I get a a pico, the loading can be done while standing and it even has some stealth and International shipping is a thing. :D
If not, ill just save and for the meantime maybee ill get one of those new vivant pens, they seem to be ok :D
Thanks for all the help!

I agree with bossman, worth just waiting and saving for the TM, sounds like you've done your research and I would agree that is the best option for you, given your situation...

Then for the mod vapes, it looks like you've found the best option for your desires, I agree the imp is a great alternative! Glow I have the 14 and I would recommend just sticking to the kanthal in power mode, it's not just the coil rebuilding for that and stempod, but the configuration and potential to fry coils when trying to set up temp control... Imp will come with dual clapton coils already set up, and yeah the instructions for setting up temp control with Arctic Fox are pretty simple... And yes the new Arctic fox does have an auto fire, press the button twice and it will fire for you until you press it again or it hits the time limit you set.

And yes the P80 is actually more than solid for this ($15 is great price), and would work with the regular imp, I don't know if there's that much reason to go with the impcognito unless yeah you want the pico or can find an asterRT anywhere... Once temp control is set up it is very consistent without much if any scorch risk even sharing with newbies.

Unfortunately I think you missed some recent sales, but nevertheless it's a pretty fair price already at least in the US... So yeah I say go for that or keep saving for the TM, or take the risk on a Glow without temp control!

The impcognito can hit hard but not without a little coil glowing. Imo the wood stem are great for traveling.
Since i fried my impcognito (don't let the aster on in your bag) i use the Iheat with a movkin disguizer on the go no tcr but it s sweet my needs.
Imo the Impcognito is more a sipper. The Iheat is more versatile you can sip or rip.
If you want to try he cognito and the aster rt here a link (i've ordered once from them everything was allright). They also have the movkin...

@Root-y – Hey Kollege und willkommen im Forum! Since you already own a P80 and don't seem to like the idea of carrying around a relatively pricey vape device during a festival (which I totally understand, things can get lost, stolen, abused etc.) I recommend taking a look at the →DC Gen 2. I can't find anything about it here on FC (help?) and I have only tried it once, but it's pretty affordable and does hit well. The Tinymight is indeed fucking awesome and totally capable of shining in festival scenarios I bet, but yeah... I'd get a little nervous taking it to unknown territories. The DC would allow you to get a foot in the door without having to invest a fortune.

That looks cool, similar to Divine Tribe? But it's conduction right? They did want convection. Also they don't own the P80 they have the opportunity to get it for $15 btw

Thanks again for all the writing :)
That sounds like the Imp series might be exactly my fit, the smal one might be a little smarter in my case since humans like to touch good looking wood. Having it like in an aster RT or Movkin should prevent it looking like an cutting board after a few weeks of festival use :D Does the movkin fit the Impcognito? Looks so large
qnd yeah the aster RT was what I'me meant in the first place, when I was talking bout recessed mods, is there any vatiation of that or some ArcticFox/RedPanda/surMyevic conpatible device that has that recessedness while still using interchangeable batteries? Or should I rather ask the ppl in the Impcognito thread about it?
Thanks again for all the help, what an amazing community!

I don't know how good the movkin is for temp control, but some use it for wattage with the iHeat... I messaged you about an option with potentially perfect timing btw!
